Location id perfect for water lovers and is very serene. Lovely views, tree-lined approach to the hotel. Lovely food, clean rooms and sufficient room supplies - teas, coffee etc. Very helpful and attentive staff. It was great that a decanter of sherry was replenished in each room as part of the room supplies. Very lovely experience. If I was to go to Guernsey again, I’ll certainly consider staying there again.

This review probably mimics most or the reviews on this site ; 1. I booked a superior double room,with balcony, which was just fine overlooking the lovey garden. 2. the bed was definitely comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean . 3. you get towels for the swimming pool,tea & coffee very well supplied in the room. 4. the room was very hot but we think it was because we were situated over the indoor pool. 5. loved the pool & spa facilities. 6. breakfast was a good variety, we had 1 dinner there which was ok ,we prefer the French cuisine in the restaurants in St.PertersPort. 7.the staff are very welcoming & helpful ,even though sometimes we thought we were on the set of 'Little Britain' on some occasions ! But this makes for an interesting stay... 8.the hotel is situated at the top of a long hill but there are buses at your convenience ,the public bus is £1 for any distance. 9.remember this is a 3* hotel so don't expect too much ,we usually stay in 4/5* hotels.

The staff are v friendly and helpful., one drove us to the ferry when no taxis were available. The rooms are a good size and the hotel provide good breakfasts and evening meals. The restaurant and bar attracts locals too. The pool is big enough for a good swim but it's kept covered so you have to ask for it to be uncovered. But they do so straight away. It's a 10 min walk downhill from a lovely quiet area . The walk back is steep but a 31 bus can be used but not in the evenings.

This has got to be one of the cosiest hotels I have ever stayed in. It felt like home staying here! The staff were really nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable, the cleanliness was superb. The view I had from the bedroom was amazing. I will be staying here again, and recommending that people should stay here. The location is extraordinary, as it is right by the beach.

Great location for the warmer months when you can sit outside in the evenings. Great staff and food.

Great stay in this lovely calm old fashioned style hotel. Lovely staff and fantastic health centre with pool and gym. The hotel is being refurbished and the completed areas look great. I would definitely stay here again. Great value for money.

We spent our honeymoon in Guernsey and had never been back so decided to celebrate this milestone back on this lovely island! We were kindly upgraded by the hotel. Lovely staff, enjoyed the spa on our last day. Breakfast was a little disappointing, buffet style and the hot food was rather dry but dinner was delicious. We also ate lunch at The Terrace which was tasty too.

Located 22 miles from the main town of St Peter Port but easily accessible by at least 4 different buses, so this country hotel is nice even for those who visit without a car. This is an old farmhouse converted to a very modern hotel and the new restaurant is only 2 months old. Breakfast was included in our plan and it consisted of a buffet and a menu from which you order. I had the local sausage, mushrooms and fresh farm eggs. For the final night dinner i splurged on local oysters and then a ribeye. Absolutely the most fantastic dinner I have ever had. We got the cheapest room with a view of the dumpsters but it was still very nice otherwise. There was a partial view of the gardens, bathtub, hot water, electric kettle, air conditioning, cable tv. The staff were all very attentive to our needs and had all the answers to questions about the hotel, sights, bus schedules and everything else in between. Fantastic place and well worth the $175 per night.

this was a pleasant stay in a comfortable room close to the main street, beach and bus station. the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice. the only small criticism was the lack of an elevator to transfer the luggage. i would recommend it as a desirable hotel.

I had a room on the forth floor which had lovely views. The room was beautiful, classically furnished with a modern bathroom. The decor of the hotel was 'art deco' style which created a great atmosphere. The bar and resturant has a lovely light glass covered room leading to an outside terrace where you can eat breakfast. The breakfast choice was extensive with a range of freshly cooked to order dishes. This was served efficiently. The staff were helpful and friendly. A very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again.
