At first we a little put off by how different it was from the typical hotels we have stayed in. It is definately different. But, then the place really started to grow on us. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The accommodations we adequate for the two of us and the location near downtown was just a few blocks walk from the Old Market Square. We will surely stay here again and if you are planning a wedding this place is the spot. There was a wedding the day we were there and they were so efficient about it you would hardly know they took up half the place. Staff worked quickly to put up and take down the wedding stuff so that you could still enjoy the courtyard for a morning breakfast or just sip coffee by the balcony. Thanks to the front desk staff for quickly resolving a small plumbing issue we had and making our stay a memorable one.

Pros: Excellent location downtown. You can walk to all the major company headquarters without having to worry about parking or getting lost somehow in the one way streets. Basically, it's a real convenient location and it's also close enough to the Old Market that you can walk there and get some food and drinks without drving/taxi/uber, etc... Another big pro; huge pro, is that you can open your window. Yes America, this hotel allows you to open a small swing window in each room. The hotel is designed so that you can't crank up the temperature or lower it dramatically in each room with heat or AC. It's an old school design, but it is very energy friendly and most importantly, relies on you being able to open your window. Unlike most hotels, where you may have to turn on the air con in February to "freshen up" the room; at this one, the building stays so warm that even when it is cold outside, you can open your window and it will chill the room...perfect.

Arrived with my 11 year old daughter to be told the hotel had no parking and you will probably have to park on the street. Female front desk person who informed me of this rolled her eye at me when I asked to speak to the manager. Went up to my room and could hear the elevators go up and down the entire time, asked for a different room was told they didn't have any other rooms and they would not comp my room was told it wan't their fault that I could hear the elevators even though the manger, himself, stated the building did have structural issues and he did admit some customers also could hear the elevators but they would be charged the same price as the rest of the rooms. For compensation for having an awful night of sleep and female front desk person being incredibly rude I was offered some free snack sized chips. Never again will I go to a Hampton Inn....horrible!

We had a great time for the 3 days we were there. The place was very clean & the staff was friendly. Loved the breakfast & the daily change of the hot items. Nice variety of food. We enjoyed the dinner the one night we were there. It was simple but very tasty. Would definitely return for another stay next time we are in town. Thank You

Perfect location, staff was great and very helpful,great bars and restaurants nearby - I stay here every time I come to Omaha.

The Art Deco decor was outstanding and the facilities in the room first class We dined late after a late plane arrival and found the MEATLOAF sublime ... full credit to the chef Yours truly Prudence hassan. Melbourne Australia
