Very value for money”
This is a real 4-star hotel with a hostel price. Buffet style breakfast is included. The room is decent and clean. You cannot ask for more with such prices. Highly recommended.

Lovely Place to Stay”
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and were quite impressed by the friendly staff, large hotel, nice room and relaxing pool area. We found it to be very affordable and easy to get around on foot from. We’d recommend this hotel for sure!

Good Location & Value for Money”
One of the best hotel in Luxor.. and one of the cheapest.. Rooms were OK and check-in is flexible maybe due to season (summer). Food was ok and the choices were good. Staff should lessen the calls specially in the middle of the night regarding tour offers. Over all I can recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Nice hotel ”
Large room and smiling staff. It is located very close to Luxor temple, so the constant harassment was unbearable. Fortunately the hotel offers good price for room service food.

Good value, still room for improvement”
Great location and breakfast. Rooms and service are not so. Staff isn't very helpful. Many things in room are broken. When we asked for fixes, none was replied. One room was so bad, we had to ask for a change. Fortunately, we got one.

Great location and great people ”
The place was such a great value for the money due to the economic conditions in the Egypt tourism industry It is so central that you can walk to everything. We walked along the corniche to Karnak and then all the way back to Luxor temple and the museum. Took a cab across and back from valley of the kings. To be honest the tourism is down so much and the people realize this that they are exceptionally nice and relaxed. Not a lot of high pressure tours around anymore and makes for a much nicer holiday around Luxor then it was in 2006 when we were last here. They are trying their best to win people back, 99% of people are on tour packages and there was not many of us independent travelers that it made for some great honest talks with the people.

Acceptable”
Very bad impression... 1. The stuff attitude is very poor. 2. Wifi is not available in the room and bad wifi signal in the lobby. 3. No water or pot in the room, neither in the lobby. 4. Even the location is good and room is big, not worthy of 4 stars review.

Nice place ”
Spending two nights in this hotel, the place is perfect. Located by the riverside of Nile, and two temples, Karnak and Luxor. If you joined the hot balloon tour, which is convenient as well. The swimming pool is clean and big. Really nice!

Above average”
No wifi - most important - even in the lobby very problematic. Laundry closes at 5pm but won't accept articles after 3pm or some such... Just a bad vibe.

So far this hotel is the best value for you money that I've ever seen. Really, rooms, pool, locations, and for the price I paid I feel I should have paid way more than I did. I definitely recommend it. The restaurant food is always very very good and as cheap as any other places I saw in the city but it's sometime even better because you don't have to go out when it's very hot and it's clean. My only complaint is the wifi but I bought a SIM card (it's very cheap to buy one) and made my stay perfect. I could recommend this place 200%. Nice staff, very satisfied with my stay. I had a nice balcony view to the Nile. I would come back if I could and I tried to stay as long as I could just to enjoy the hotel. It's a luxury hotel but still a 4 star.

Good”
Clean hotel with 80s/90s feel. Formerly Mecure, ETAP, Luxor and now Eatabe. Good: Nice pool area. Close to museum and Luxor Temple. Nile view rooms have small balcony with side-on view of Nile. Some staff friendly. Clean if a bit dated. Not so good: Some staff not so friendly. Probabaly worried about thier jobs in the recession - and also the huge number of squaddies staying there as the president was visiting Luxor at the time. Food cheap (£4/meal) and edible but not great. Breakfast buffet had a re-hash of left overs fom the evening buffet. But made-while-you-wait omlettes were great. Tips: No tea/coffee in rooms - bring your own. Do not leave the hotel - proximity to the big sites means you will be accosted and hassled the minute you step out on to the street. Lot of security and armed guards protecting the hotel - speaks volumes. If you are reading this review you a clearly planning a trip to Egypt - and all we can say is do not go. Not worth the constant hassle on the streets and even in the so called sites. It is not pleasant and you are generally not welcome (your money is though). Carry lots of money for bribes if you must venture outside. Personally I'd rather have a two week holiday in Grimsby or Detroit any day. We put our money were our mouth is and cut short our trip and escaped Egypt. And won't be back...ever.

Good location, big room with balcony, with a good price. You can enjoy Nile River scene outside. Also it is very closed to Luxor Museum. I guess it is very good for foreign travellers.

Nile Luxury and Professional Staff”
We loved this place right on the Nile yet in the center of everything you want to do in Luxor. The staff from the laundry service to cashier to waiters and captain, to pool manager and concierge were fantastic! What a value for the money with options of breakfast and dinner included in your room! They upgraded us to Nile view with a wonderful balcony to see the Nile sunset and get Sun during the day as a restful place before enjoying day or night activities. We switched at the last moment to this homeland will come back! The pool and services were terrific and so clean! We really lucked out with this one! The only thing that would make it perfect is a gym facility. We will be back again and recommend the hotel and staff!

Great location”
This is an excellent choice for Luxor, comfy rooms, convenient restaurants and cafe bar, nice garden area, good breakfast. Downside is no internet access in rooms, this seems common outside of Cairo. Also Internet space available in lobby is very smokey due to smoking culture of many guests. But overall really good choice.

Everything was GOOD”
Just be carefull with the horse carriege services outside the hotel. They will pretend to look after your car and offer to bring you to the resturant and night local market. Eventually they will send you to their expensive restaurant and shop. The fee was cheap n please do not let them play you.
