    Concorde Dokki”
Near to metro allowing easy access to city sights; good breakfast; free internet access
Room a bit small; would have liked BBC or CNN on TV
We found the staff friendly & our room was kept clean. The breakfasts were good with opportunities to sample Egyptian food as well as traditional items eg eggs, jam, toast, cereals, etc. The metro was a short walk which allowed access to all the main tourist sights without the expense of a taxi. There were enough local shops, supermarkets, etc and a sprinkling of restaurants. The hotel's restaurant did serve more than adequate meals & was not expensive. The free internet access was a bonus!

    Decent Hotel”
    - Good breakfast - Friendly staff
    - central but dirty location - Lot of touts outside the building
This hotel is a decent hotel for the price, and it 10-15 walk to the british muesum and the posh side of Cairo. However this Hotel is located in a dirty part of Giza. I booked this hotel since lot of reviews said it was close to the pyramids, which is not really true since it is 15 minutes by taxi to the pyramids. However the staff are very friendly and accomodating to your request, with minimal pestering for tips unlike other hotels

    Concorde Hotel Cairo”
    Cheap, Clean and helpful staff
Road can be a bit noisy during the day. Gets quieter at night.
Very good clean hotel. Basic but for the price adequate. Free breakfast and free internet access in all rooms. Staff attentive and helpful. Right in the heart of Cairo not too far from the metro at one egyptian pound per trip, very good value and easy to get about. Good bar with reasonable prices.

    Basic Hotel”
    Location, free internet access
Room is run down, bathroom does not feels clean
There was free wireless internet access in the room, which is very useful. Breakfast was very basic. The location was quite central & near to Nile River, Cairo Tower & Metro station. If you are staying for 1 or 2 days, looking for a basic room, it will be good value for money.

    DON"T STAY AT THE CONCORDE!”
    NOTHING
This is does not qualify for its three stars. This is a back packer accomodation. Staff extremely rude, room very shabby, shower and lift were closet size. Don't believe the photos posted on the net because the rooms of the hotel and the building does not reflect the real thing.
Do not go to this hotel, I was silly enough to ignore all the other reviews that stated the same, thinking that it can't be that bad. However, after a 14hr flight we arrived at the Concorde at 7am only to be rudely told by a surly receptionist that we were not allowed to check in. I begged and explained we were exhausted, he said that he would try and accomodate us by letting us check in at 9am. So we waited until 9, when it was time to check in a different receptionist rudely told us that 9 o'clock is not the check in time and we must wait until 12. So we left and returned after 3pm to a dismal, shabby & noisy room. We were woken up an hour later by staff knocking non-stop at the door only to hand me two wet towels with some hair on it. Spend the extra money because at the end of a tiring day of sight seeing we wanted to be in a clean comfortable room with polite & accomodating hotel staff. DON'T STAY at the Concorde Hotel in Dokki. Also, the pictures of this hotel posted on the net is not what it actually is.

    concorde not the best”
Easy access from metro station. Located in a business centre. Safe & Reasonable price.
Overall facility at rooms is not upto the expectation, especially bathrooms. Complimentry breakfast is not at all good. Television set and service is bad.
This hotel is ideal for short stay and people who are looking for stay at reasonable price at a prime location in Cairo. There are lot of good fastfood around this hotels and all types of shops are available in this location, so thats good for shopping freaks. From my personal experience i found hotel staff are honest and reliable, because when i left room i forget to carry some of money which i have kept inside my bag and it was not locked. When i came back i realised house keeping staff has entered my room for cleaning purpose and with shocking heart i opened my bag to see whether my money is safe. To my surprise even an single dollar is not missing from my bag. Overall i consider this is an average hotel.

    Good hotel in Caieo”
Good location near Nile river, in walking distance for the city center, high speed wifi internet in lobby and restaurant
A little bit old hotel, rooms certainly need renovation
We stayed in this hotel two times for three nights in Jul-Aug 2009, all was OK, rooms were spacious and clean, but windows are not so soundproof, as we expected, and horning sounds from the busy street will annoy you from the early morning to the late nights. But it’s OK to sleep well, if you tired enough. Staff was extremely helpful, except one thing – I think reception guy charged me for the WiFi, that you can obviously use for free.

Hotel itself is clean and organized as a 3 star hotel. Front was kind enough. My girl friend lost her pulse but from taking advice from the hotel front, we could get it back. Breakfast was fairly good. washroom was absolutely clean (that was our main concern)
old elevator, it creeps me out sometimes.

    Terrible Don't Go”
The hotel has a nice enterance, in a nice area in down town near the underground.
The room is old, the furniture is old as well, beside that they put me in a smoking room for no reason so every thing was smelling. The bathroom is old and the celling ids full of cracks. The breakfast is almost nothing, just foul, boiled eggs and cheese.

    Concorde hotel value for money”
    ok for 3 star hotel
    hotel staff not so friendly
It was a pleasant time visiting Cairo for the first time. Trafic is terrible but no accident notice after a week! Concorde hotel was good, value for money for 3 star hotel except for breakfast. same menu everyday. Was cheated by taxi driver....promised 35 pound but no change after giving 40 pound! Be careful for those who plan to visit Cairo...

    Near to Nile bank.
Beare of taking taxi near this hotel or through this hotel.
Good budget hotel in Dokki. Very near to nile bank. You may take a liesure walk in the bank of nile river. Hotel is neat and clean. Very few of the hotel staff know english. Do not take any taxi through the hotel staff - who will insist you to take a taxi through them. It will be atleast double the normal charge. Better to get translate the address ( through the reception of this hotel) in arabic & show it to the taxi diver.

good location, nice rooms, comact and cozy
bad breakfast, no frills like swimming pool and health club
Was good. Nice value for money. Pretty close to Nile and downtown Cairo. Rooms are compact and cozy and are good for the price. Staffs are cooperative and the best thing is the cleanliness. NEar to hotel are 2 casionos, sheraton and pyramisa, so for all those gamblers, its an added advantage. I would definitely recommend it.
