"I booked the Hilton for three nights, and I was very disappointed. I've stayed in other hotels in Madison but wanted to give the Hilton a try. The nightly cost was reasonable, but all the extra charges were absurd! The hotel charges $20 per day for parking, charged for internet use, and charged a ridiculous room service fee that costs almost the same amount as the food itself! Additionally, the hotel's restaurant charged my credit card twice, and if I hadn't caught it on my credit card statement, it might have never been fixed. Also, the parking garage sticker states it's valid until 2pm on check out day, but when I left the parking garage at 12:45pm, it required me to pay an additional $19 just to exit! I ended up calling the hotel to get my money back, but the hassle this hotel caused made it not worth the stay. Also, I was disappointed the room did not have a microwave (many hotels do nowadays), and it took over 10 minutes of running the water to get it warm enough to even shower."

"This was a real find. It’s not the old Best Western we might be familiar with. The rooms are fantastic and up there with some of the more expensive hotels we’ve stayed in. The location may not be ideal for walking to the State Street area or the Capital however they have a free shuttle service that gets you there quickly and walking is still doable - just under 2 miles. The staff and drivers are friendly and helpful - including rescuing an expensive camera left in the shuttle. Many thanks and we definitely will be back. PS the included breakfast was also great!"
