Not worth a penny”
Firstly, do not be deceived with the pictures advertised by the hotel. We took a deluxe room but was shocked to see the room is small. Plus,it is dirty,dusty and full of hairs on the floor. The hotel is located close to bar and karaoke place so it is noisy and loud at night.Booked for two days stay but upon seeing the room we cancelled another night and booked at another hotel.For muslim,the qiblat is not updated.we would recommend to install a qiblat app and trust the app better.

Kinda of disappointed when i go into the room. The TV is not functioning. My friends room does not have kettle. The spoon for coffee use is stained with coffee. Toilet flush stuck. Room has cigarette smells. Staff does not provide receipt for deposit. When check out, you have to ask for your deposit back as the staff will just ignore if you didn't.

Need to change room few times. 1st room keep blacking out. 2nd room was untidy with no bed sheet. Cleanliness just so so. Tv didnt work at all. No satellite tv as stated, such as liar!. Toilet flush also didnt work. Location given in the apps is wrong hence I need find it on my own. Really confusing since there are two grand city hotel in town.

Whenever we go to Kuantan, we stay at Grand City Hotel. We love the nice comfy bed and the spacious attached washroom/shower. They provide basic toiletries and clean towels. A colour tv with local channels. Tea/coffee-making facility (provided with an electrical kettle), mini-bar is available in certain rooms. Free wi-fi. Since there are some restaurants and cafes nearby the hotel,

good for money .. nice location and easy access
I didnt check in to this hotel. As I arrived I found that the surrounding area is not suitable for me a solo female travel.. But im sure its not a big deal for someone else.
Facilities not good”
Okay to stay for 1night only. Room is not well manage before our check in eventhough we did check in late at night. Walkaway not clean and trash at the dustbin give out bad smell. Bedspread and blanket should be replaced new already.
Pictures on website misleading”
As usual this is again misrepresentation. For a 2* no qualms except the noise of nearby clubs with pulsating bass till 4am. If you are indeed a deep sleeper that won't pose a problem. Parking coupons needed though the first 2 hours are borne by the hotel.
small room and terrible services”
the staff here is not friendly at all. some of the rooms were not available even if we already booked and paid online. we have to change the room because of this problem. I hope they manage to solve this problem soon..
