Didn’t look like the photos on site”

The bathtub was dirty and chipped, bathroom was dirty. Room was worn out many signs of wear and tear. The TV was so small, maybe 20”! Couldn’t see anything on it. Asked for rollaway bed since there was 4 of us and they said it’s a fire hazard couldn't give us one!! They knew it was family of 4 and didn’t even try to put us in a bigger room, or a room with 2 beds. It’s was a full size bed in one room for 4 people. It was a bad experience overall

Perfect beach access hotel”

Stayed in the ocean front room. Perfect for that on the beach feeling. Slept with slider open listening to waves crashing all night. Great beach access. We didn’t use our car at all. Great location to walk to everything. I would say the rooms aren’t anything fancy, but it right on the beach, with a perfect beach view and feel. Didn’t really need anything more. Room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely come back.

First day of Spring break”

Needed to recharge from work and school. Had a great view of the ocean. Room was simple/nice. Maybe needed a small bistro table to sit at in the hotel. We ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We liked the new reno in the lobby. Will comeback.

Nice Hotel, But...”

This hotel is in a great location. I don't think you can much closer to the center of town. I recommend the hotel on the basis that it's clean and well-run. The only beef I have with Pacific Edge now is that they charge $35 for unnecessary valet parking. Even the other hotels I've talked to here are very surprised at this new charge by Pacific Edge. You do have the option of parking on the street from 7pm-8am, and can pay by meter for 3-hour stints per time. You then have to move each time, too, then find another available spot. Good luck in the summer months. For years Pacific Edge did what everyone else (that I could find) still does is charge a modest $15 per day for a parking spot. This is well within reason. To have to pay $35 for something that I've done myself many times at this very hotel over the years is simply fleecing the customer. It's very disappointing, it's why I've given one star for facilities and I won't be staying here again just for this reason.

just ok”

staff were lovely and helpful, but the accommodation was run down and old. The room was freezing with just a small fan heater that wasn't adequate for the space. The oven was useless, and the bathtub didn't even have a plug. Parking is a pain, unless you want to pay an additional $35 per day to have valet parking. the beachfront rooms were presumably nicer as they cost a lot more.

This Hotel in Laguna makes your stay stress free. The beach access is so convenient and accessible. The hotel provides beach chairs and umbrellas based on availability. There’s bathrooms, outdoor showers and valet parking. There’s 2 restaurants to enjoy. The Driftwood and The Deck are sister restaurants with breathtaking views and delish food. We tried both restaurants and was super satisfied. I highly recommend if you can afford the ocean view suites book it. Otherwise you will get a street view for a standard room but still get all the amenities. There’s 2 swimming pools and outdoor common spaces. I’m definitely going back.

Great hotel! ”

We always stay at this hotel when we come to laguna beach because of its continence, customer service and local restaurant. Keep in mind this isn’t a 5 star hotel so don’t expect the rooms to be awesome. They are basic and older. They do a great job of providing everything you may need. We ended up needing a rollaway bed for our room this trip and they brought it right away. They even let us switch rooms because the first room they assigned to us was weird and directly on the construction zone with people walking in front of our window non stop. We will always come back to this hotel

Disappointed with the room. Nothing that appeared on the site was the same when arrived. Bathroom Door latch was broken. The front was difficult to open due to door being stuck. The WiFi never connected. Parking was very expensive, $34 per day.

The pictures looks nothing like what the hotel really is. It's old, outdated, you can hear everything. A bunch a drunk people around, I didn't feel safe and the employees at the front desk don't care you. My room was flighty and disgusting. No way I would take my shoes off. My patio door wouldn't lock and the front door only has one lock. No safe.

I’ve stayed in better motels”

The rattle of the highway made it impossible to sleep and there is no privacy in the room unless you have the blackout drapes pulled, which btw mine were covered in food. The room wasn’t cleaned and I’m afraid to have my bare feet on the floor. To say the least, unless you fork up enough cash for the beachfront room everything the double bed rooms are trash. Very disappointed.
