Super Lage. Tolles Team. Immer wieder gern.”

wonderful stay! highly recommended!”
My boyfriend and I booked two nights at Rabbit Bungalow, but we ended up staying four. Lek, the owner welcomed us warmly and gave us a map of the island and recommendations on what to do and where to go. Throughout the stay, he was very caring, always asked if everything is alright and was always up for a little chat. The bamboo bungalow was small, but had everything that we needed. It was always very clean and every day we came home and had two new bottles of water on our shelf. The place itself was wonderful, too. Located next to a little lake and green scenery around you, it was a very calm and relaxed environment. We highly recommend this place!! (and if you look for any other recommendations for thailand or other countries, just ask Lek, he knows a lot as he also loves to travel) Thank you very much Lek and hope to see you again one day! :)

Wonderful, quiet, well managed place with very friendly and helpful staff.”
The bungalows have a beautiful small lake on one side showing large lotus flowers in the morning. On the other side, the Buffaloes Bay sea is only 200 m away. This is s changing scene every day with the tides coming and going. when tide is out, there is a very serene and peaceful view, with the water about a mile out. When tide is in, the swimming is good, but some areas of the beach can be cut off from beach access for a while but always available by road. The owner Lek will give very useful information on the island features. His helpfulness is shown in that when my wife left her prescription sun glasses behind, he agreed to send them on to our next destination. The food is also very good at the bungalows, with the cook giving Thai cooking classes daily. No Cons come to mind.

I loved this quite cute place. I loved to walk to the beautiful beach - little nice walk. ”
I loved to stay at Rabbit a lot! Cute place, nice people, beautiful pond with the pretty flowers and a little boot! One little thing was not so good - the bamboo huts a little close to each other and you can hear noises from the other huts. But I found the solution for me to go to the bathroom for the bigger deal to the outside bathroom. :) in the wooden houses this issue does not exist, only in the bamboo huts. I loved my bamboo hut!

Very basic old bungalow-hut, ten minutes walk to the sea, good wifi in the garden only. Good food at a reasonable price.

The owner, Lek, is awesome! Very hospitable and more than willing to ensure that you have the best time on the island as possible. The accommodation is basic but it’s perfect for this small island!

A wonderful stay”
The wooden bungalow with a view of the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the cranes, herons, eagles, mynas and hornbills from our porch. Good food and very friendly service added to the comfort of our stay. We hope to return soon!

Definitely recommend for nature lovers ”
We definately enjoyed our stay at Rabbit Bungalow! The owner (Lek) and his staff are wonderful. He made us feel really welcome and helped us when we needed. The place is perfect for travellers that love to stay in a calm, natural and easy environment. We found a basic but clean bungalow with a great matras and klamboe. Don't aspect a warm shower ;) The position is quiet and if you rent a scooter or bicycle you can easily get everywhere. Buffalo Bay is only a few minutes walk and the price-quality balance is more than okay. What else do you wish for?!

Hidden Gem!!”
Simplicity, comfort, serenity, cleanliness, friendliness, and privacy are among other quality of this hotel so that we decided to extended our stay. The place is off the main road, far from street noise, and well maintained lush landscape that becomes a bird sanctuary. We saw a colony of swallow swooping water in the pond every morning, hornbills and monkeys come for wild bananas, eagles, yellow-bellie sunbird, stork, etc...great place for a bird watcher. We stayed in a wooden Bangalow which is literally hidden in the blooming hibiscus and gardenia bushes so we have a sense of privacy lying in a hammock on the porch reading with a whiff of gardenia flowers in the air. The resort is on a slight slope facing a big panoramic lotus pond. We woke up early and paddled in the pond filled with all red lotus in bloom...what a stunning and beautiful moment! The room is clean, very comfortable bed with nice, soft, high-thread count bed sheet (rare to find in other resorts). Big, clean, minimalist bathroom equipped with working necessities. Electricity is between 6pm-6am so if you check out early in the morning, it's better to prepare you luggage the night before as the room is still dark at 6am. The resort is located 150 m. with off-the-beaten path to buffalo beach. The kitchen is open until 8pm but we didn't have a chance to try as we came back too late and yet were offered a delicious pumpkin in coconut milk. Khun Lek, the owner/manager is a super host. He explained things to us very accurate and clear on where to go, things to do, the time to do it, etc. He is our lonely planet guide for our trip to koh phayam that make us feel like a visit to a family member without being too close! A paradise place to stay and return indeed!

Great place on Ko Phayam”
I loved this place. Cozy bungalow with everything you need. Super comfortable bed. The blankets are not great. The bungalows are within a green oasis. Since there are so many nice places you will wanna see on Ko Phayam, the location is perfect; right in the middle of the island. Get a scooter to explore! The super friendly owner Lek will provide you with a map and some good suggestions on what to do/see on the island.

Friendly and comfortable”
This was my fourth visit to Rabbit Bungalow, and I am already looking forward to my next! Lek and First are friendly hosts, and put a lot of effort into making guests happy. Both types of bungalow are clean and comfortable, and the food here is some of the best I've found on any island in Thailand. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, this is a very good choice!

I will be back!”
This was my third stay at Rabbit – it is a wonderful place to spend time, and I will go back again. The resort is very peaceful, and set in a well-maintained garden. A beautiful and quiet beach is less than 5 minutes (walking) down the hill. You can only swim at high tide because the bay is very shallow. Other beaches are only a few minutes away with a motorbike. Lek and First make guests feel at home, and are some of the best hosts in Thailand. They have both seen a lot of the world, and it’s fun to swap travel stories with them. First prepares delicious meals – be sure to have at least one dinner. The bamboo bungalows are basic, but have attached toilets and showers. The wood bungalows have more headroom and light. The beds in both types of room are very comfortable, and mosquito nets are provided.

I will be back!”
I stayed at Rabbit twice, and extended my second stay because I wasn't ready to leave. It is a very peaceful place to stay. The owner and staff made me feel very welcome (as they do all the guests), the bungalows are comfortable, and the beach really is an easy walk down the road. There are a few restaurants and bars nearby if you want to explore. But make sure you have at least one meal at the resort because the food is excellent.

Great location, chilled bungalows”
Arrived here on my 3rd stay on the island and figured I'd go for a non-beach front joint this time. Bungalows are very relaxing and the hammock out the front works a treat. A small lagoon to add to the relaxing atmosphere and the owners are very kind and helpful. Unfortunately we hit a few days of rain while here but this just meant more hammock time. Would stay here again as it's great value for money

Great place! Friendly owner & staff. Central location on Island close to the beach.”
We stayed 13 days at Rabbit bungalows. The staff was very helpful & nice. The bungalows are surrounded by beautiful plants & flowers that attract a lot of wildlife for you to see. My mom's bungalow overlooked a small lake on the property. One of the best things is the central location on the island which makes it easy to get anywhere fast with only 5 minutes walk to the beech, 1 minute by motor bike

Nice resort and the friendliest staff”
We stayed for 6 nights and had a basic bungalow. Good mosquito net and nice garden view. Only the bathroom was a little unsatisfying, there were cracks in the floor where cockroaches and spiders found their way in. But I guess you have to live with that when you wa want to live close to nature. Nice staff and good basic Thai cuisine. (But dine early as sometimes the chef will have gone to bed at 9pm)

Lovely staff”
The place owner Lek is such a lovely person! He was waiting for us when we arrived and offered some drinks and Thai dessert. Lek also provided good information of the island and handed out printed maps. The room itself was the cheapest option he had: a simple bamboo bungalow with private toilet and porch. Room was quite small, so I would advice to take choose some other option if you want to hang around in the room much. Toilet was really cute but there were some small snails going around and in the morning we found some mouse droppings. Didn't bother that much though. Wifi was working in the huts almost all day, even though the electricity was working only from 6pm-7am.

Best Place in Koh Payam”
We had a wonderful stay at Rabbit Bungalow. Both Lek and First were amazing hosts and did everything to make sure we had the best stay possible. Lek even provided all of the information needed to get to our next destination smoothly. First is a great cook, so be sure to get the red snapper! The whole place had a really nice community feel too. You'll be sure to make new friends from all over the world. We couldn't be happier with our stay here and want to thank Lek and his staff for everything!
