Not up to standard for the price you pay”
The concept was good, fruit trees has fruits in it for visitors to see. The price has gone up by the time I visited. For S$200 a night I would expect better cleanings, better maintainable and better food. It takes 2 hours drive from city if I am not wrong. Hiring a driver will cost you another sum. The beds feels damp and spider webs can be seen at many comers of the house interior. Bed sheets cleanliness are so so. Not very value for money, if I have to say.
We never tire of this place!!”
We fell in love with this place years ago when we visited and this stay didn't change our mind. Mink is always so very welcoming and it's now like visiting an old friend. The food is delicious. Love bike riding, hiking etc great way to get back to nature. Very relaxing few days. Will be back for sure!!
Beautiful & relaxing ”
Stayed here for two nights, setting is beautiful and all the tree houses are wonderfully made & looked after. The place is family run all extremely helpful. Food is very tasty & there’s lots of it ! Theres free bikes to use & walks while you are there If not just relax & enjoy the quiet
Special experience ”
We had one night here with our five year old kid. We love all the natural elements including all the tree houses and little animals we explored the bat cave by riding bicycles with the help of the dog White who led us to the cave as well as protected us by fighting with other wild dogs. Unluckily the big storm stopped us from finding any fireflies. Very special and unforgettable experience for all of us.
Peaceful places for bloggers and Nature lovers”
Power points, fans, free flow of coffee powder, tea bags, hot/cold water are always available at the open air dining area. Reliable Wifi, clean environment and nice Asian meals. There are staff always on lookout for your comfort.
Some of the tree houses are quite high so it's not for the faint hearted. It takes a couple of days to slow to the pace of the forest, but then waking up to the sound of the forest all around is wonderful and we really miss it.
Just as amazing as the first time”
We stayed here in 2014 and couldn't wait to return but was worried it wouldn't be the same now it's more well known and a lot more busy. We were pleasantly surprised to find it was just as we had remembered. We were greeted as old friends and shown to our treehouse - Star House. Our luggage was taken from our car to our room via truck. The house was clean, with mozzie plug in and bottled water. Mozzies were not a problem inside at all, we had the plug in on each evening/night. Outside we used spray and found this was sufficient, we had less issues here than with mozzies in Chiang Mai. The food was just as we had remembered - everything was mild as requested and our son who is dairy free was catered for as requested. We had a camp fire one night complete with marshmallows. Of a day you can do as much or as little as you like - some of our group went bike riding while others lounged around. This is an experience like few others, we love staying here and hope they continue with the great service and hospitality we have come to know and love.
very relaxing environment”
it was very peaceful and the hosts were very friendly. Sadly, I went in the hottest season and the nearby waterfall was all dried up. would love to visit again in a cooler season and spend more days at the treehouse with myself. =)
First time in treehouse and loved it. Super country location with great staff and food. Free bikes available and map provided for local sites. You can even help pick mushrooms for evening meal. Fishing for tiddlers also available and free. If you have ever fancied sleeping in a tree house I would highly recommend this family run resort.
Warm, comfortable bed and friendly staff”
Skip the Coca-cola trail as the boardwalk is rundown and not maintained. Free bicycles for use although some of the bicycles are not well-maintained. Go for the sunset view and it is worth to make a trip up to the dam.
So much fun. We stayed in the Rabeang house, right on the stream. Our son played in the water, we fished for minnows, and rode bikes to the caves. Great people and such a neat experience. Great break from the bustle of Bangkok.
We had a wonderful stay (again) at Rabeang Treehouse Resort. We stayed in Baan Rimtarn this time, and it was great as long as we watched our heads around the staircase. Kiddo loved the swing under the house. The food was excellent, and the staff was great. Overall, I would give it 4's in food (only due to limited choice, even though everything we had was great), cleanliness (it is outdoors, so to be expected), and room comfort, as I prefer a softer mattress (but cannot complain too much, as the standard in Thailand is very firm). But given what is expected from this type of resort, all were 5's. We will be staying again soon.
Absolutely loved our stay”
My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at the treehouse. It was our first time and we were very happy. The restaurant served really good food and the staff were all very nice. They even had kittens as a bonus. I highly recommend it to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy nature
Great experience ”
Overall I would rate this Hotel quite good for once in a lifetime stay. If you have not been staying in this kind of place during the childhood. Good to experience this for once. You need to get use to the sounds of nature. Very unique place to stay. Away from the buzzling city and great experience for kid. My daughter love this place. Owner Pinn and the staffs were accomodating and friendly. The food prepare was delicious and very local for dinner and western for breakfast. I would recommend this place for family with children.
TREE HOUSE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE”
the owner is really nice and helpful, the food are great which they prepared for us great experience in tree house which never try before. also, the sightseeing around treehouse are worth to go, eg. red sand area, bat cave. good to cycling and enjoy the nature. Great experience to far away from the city. Try something new in your life.
Pure in nature”
the tree house is 70 kilometers away from old town Chiangmai and also far from city life. Extremely close to nature with flow water, house on tree, cats and dogs and green everywhere. If you want to experience life in forest, tree house is the best choice.
Peace and tranquility at its best”
Saying it was awesome is such a cliche. It is better than that. This is something you will talk about to your family and friends for a long time. My treehouse stay at Rabeang was something truly unique and memorable. From the rustic creak of the wooden stairs you have to walk up to, to the outdoor dining area where delicious home cooked thai food is served. And not forgetting the helpful and near extinct friendly service that is missing in most modern hotel industry. I chose the treehouse stay based on the reviews and it lived up to its reputation. If you are thinking Chiang Mai, i highly recommend staying here just for one night to live and experience the old charm stay of Rabeang Pasak Treehouse. All the more better if you are heading to Pai or on your way back to Chiang Mai from Pai. Oh and there's additional "bonus" if you are a cat/dog person. You can literally sit and idle time away with the resident cat on your lap!
location, location, location”
had an awesome party for a friends bday... lots of relaxation and quiet time. We were woken early each day by construction activities (they are building another restaurant by the looks of it), and the roosters were all very noisy in the mornings.. if you dont mind early starts, then this is the place to stay... the food was great but a little pricey. and the location was excellent placing us smack bang in the middle of the jungle... no A/C in the rooms but it was cool enough with a fan at this time of year.. not sure how it would feel in March/April though..
so good and interesting must stay at least 1 time”
We stayed on the hightest one as we reserved at first time we booked, and it was so good at least one time to stay on the tree. Around we ride the bicycles to see a dam and view point. However we could not go to see a waterfall close to the resort because it might be raining the day before we went there and the road so slippery. But on the next day we went to see 7 colours waterfall one the way back to Chiangmai. It was wonderfull.
Back to natural and child dream home! Tree house!”
We arrived around 9pm due to flight delay the owner waited for us. We were touched. There were lots of firefly and it was so beautiful at night. We were told it was the season during our visit. So whoever wants to see the firefly, you should come in June. :)
