Was an old hotel, which looked like it had some newer paint. The whole hotel had a bad smell to it. Our room smelled like a musty, smoky, old saloon. The pool was decent. The free breakfast was paltry at best. We got a great deal on the room or would’ve moved elsewhere quickly.

Other than having to wait awhile for the desk clerk to show up when we got there. But he more than made up for it with his friendly attitude... and I could tell he had been busy working... thanks!

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western. Facilities were clean and in good shape. Room was very comfortable and set up nicely (went with the Jacuzzi tub next to the bed). Did not need any help from the staff. Complimentary breakfast was OK.

The room and the hotel facilities are clean. If you are looking for roomy bathroom facilities, the room is inadequate -- counter top space is very limited and there is little space between the toilet and bathtub. The bed is excellent.

This was my first time staying in Minot, North Dakota in at least 20 years. I originally booked the wrong dates. Agoda called the hotel and there weren't any problems with changing the dates. I was flying into Minot. My mother was able to easily check into the hotel room before my flight landed. My mother said the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Since the hotel is connected directly with the shopping mall, my mother loved the fact she could do some quick shopping. She said the mall was great also and pick up a few things that were on sale. I was amazed at how large the waterpark was as well as the game room. Never had a chance to use them but they would be great if you have children. The room was nice and large and clean. The beds were very comfortable. And the buffet breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day before heading out for the day. But, the best part of this was the deal I was able to get through Agoda. $60 ^-^

The staff were all friendly. The whole place is clean & nicely decorated. Workout room & pool were great to have available. Shuttle service was extra helpful. Beds were very comfortable. An all around great place to stay.

Place was quiet clean and cheap. Staff was friendly. Very nice place to stay while on a country wide trip.

Comfortable rooms. Could use a little maintenance and cleaning but it’s an oilfield town and understandable. Staff was excellent

The room was big and clean, pretty standard hotel. Great location, walking distance to restaurants even in the dead of winter. Very close to breweries - Drekker Brewhalla and Junkyard in Moorhead. Recommend eating at Blackbird Pizza, Wursthaus and getting coffee at 20 Below. Very friendly staff. We thought about getting an AirBnB, but the prices were so similar, the hotel location and cleanliness was a much better choice.

Very basic, but clean and comfortable bed. Get the best price possible since this place is a little out of date with no nice little extras.

Was very happy with the room. 2 queen beds, full kitchen, spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean. The kids loved the slides and pool, there was a birthday party, people drinking but that didn't bother us. warm water which was great since it was below freezing temps outside. Breakfast was good, cereal, bagels, eggs, sausage, waffle machine, the usual. We definitely stay here again.

The hotel is showing it's age, with peeling exterior paint, and dimly lit upper floor hallways. The facility has a large banquet room, and lovely breakfast area, with very "high end" decor in the restaurant & lounge. The children's pool and water slide looked fun for little ones. Adults could use the large hot tub. As with most pool areas, the chlorine smell was excessive. All staff was very pleasant.

Hotel staff super friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Friday and Saturday if you are wanting to swim you will not be alone - they host birthday parties and the pool is filled with kids because of the water slides. Sunday evening we got the pool/hot tub pretty much to ourselves and it was awesome. Slides are super fun even for us over 50 people!

This place is fairly new and as such the amenities and facilities are clean and serviceable, considering the price we paid it is a great value. Now for the important points: - Breakfast had a variety of cold and hot food and was good. - The hot tub was hot, great for adults; love a hotel that doesn't pander to kids. - Wifi was strong within the room. For $80 CAD, I highly recommend this hotel.

There are only 2 hotels to choose from in this small town. Although the other option may seem better, it's nearly double the price. Breakfast is good (coupons offered for breakfast at the connected diner), it's clean and the staff is amazing. It could use some updates for sure but all in all, it's pretty decent.

Super, super satisfied with the hotel. Room was super clean and had no issues with key cards or locks. The only “issue” we had was half of the outlets in the room didn’t work, so took a bit of tinkering and fiddling around to find out which worked and which didn’t. But considering the overall value of the stay, this was a very minor issue.

The hotel was really nice. We loved our room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. The pool was nice but not monitored very well. Kids were playing at the end of the slide throwing a ball up th water slide as people were coming down and we watched one girl get hit in the face. Also there were people drinking alcohol while in the pool area and the hot tub. Breakfast was always super crowded but they stocked very fast.

We were very disappointed in the conduct of the staff at this motel. The room we were given Smelled strong of stale smoke,when we alerted the staff She said it was not smoke but the humidity from the shower from the prior guests 2 days ago . We also were told there were no rooms available at the time of our check in ,which apparently was not true because the room we were first given had no occupants for 2 days( the lady told us) They did provide us with a different room which was not the cleanest as there was hair on the washroom floor. We would probably not stay here again .

We picked this hotel due to budget constraints while family member was in the hospital. The staff was amazing! Ashley, the front desk clerk, checked on us everyday. She remembered our situation, asked questions, matched the internet deal we found, and went above and beyond. Not as fancy as some in the area, but worth it. I'd stay again just due to the staff and the cleanliness.

The bathroom was very beat up. Lime scale on tub fixtures, cracked floor tiles, nicks running the length of the vanity, loose toilet, and a bit concerning that the bathroom door had been busted. There was a fist sized indentation through one side.

Nothing fancy. Very clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Plenty of pillows. I'd stay here overnight again.

Staff was very accommodating. Especially the young people, Hot tub was excellent. Best hotel for heat that I have been in with no cold spots or drafts.

Almost all things about the Dakota Inn were great. The house keeping staff should do a better job with cleaning and towel replacement.

The hotel room was nice and large maybe a little outdated but nice. Had a fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. Also the bathroom was large with plenty of counter space. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices waffles, pastries, muffins, sausage and eggs.

We booked last minute online. I called the hotel to reserve and were told they were out of rooms. Online was showing two available so we booked there. We arrived to a king suite with bunk beds. Price was reasonable. The hotel seemed to be under renovations on the main level, which was fine by us. Breakfast was hot and awarded us enough options for our one year old. The heater in our room was not functioning properly. Either it was extremely hot or no heat at all, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. That was the only problem. Everything else was clean and organized.

If your looking for a centrally located place in Mandan to sleep, this Inn is perfect. The office Manager/owner is an awesome gentleman and very very helpful and kind!!! Thank you
