feels at home in Fes”
Size, Bathroom, Hospitality
My stay at the Riad Anata felt like staying at my friend's house. Both Simo and Mustafa were friendly and cheerful, I never felt unsafe nor alone. There was a small guidebook you can take available in the room, which was also helpful.
The location is not in the central medina, so expect to hear the busy noise from the streets of local people. It is close to the main blue gate, so it might be easy to orient oneself to explore the media.
I would recommend this place to anyone who is ready to experience the real Fes.

Moroccan Hospitality Done Right”
Incredible service, beautifully designed, great location
I can't express how much we enjoyed the Riad Anata. The place is of course extremely beautiful and done well but I must praise especially the team who looked after us.
Mustafa and Samira were incredibly gracious, accommodating and all around lovely people. I travel all the time for work and rarely have I experienced so charming hospitality. We were made to feel like family and extremely well looked after.
The riad's small staff of two went above and beyond the call of duty making Fes - at sometimes a disorienting place - extremely navigable. From coordinating laundry and alterations for a suit, to hosting a dozen friends on the charming roof of the riad to coordinating with other hotels and guides, there was really nothing he wouldn't do to make our stay in Fes more enjoyable.
I was in town for a wedding with friends staying at most of the major hotels in the city from the cheap to the luxurious and would recommend for the Riad Anata over any of them.
