      A warm home away”
The major advantage besides the fair price for this guesthouse is the overall friendly and charming staff. Being welcomed in a very personal way by the young lady who runs the guesthouse with many members of her family and through out the stay many times had a nice conversation with her or other members of the staff. You feel very much at home, the location is only 10 min walk to the center of the city, but you feel like being in a very quiet and rural area surrounded by locals, chicken, cats and dogs- truely lovely atmosphere. I had a fantastic time in Sawasdee Angkor Villa and hope to be able staying here again in the future. A big plus and Thank you to the charming staff.

      Nice place, bad service”
This place was nice enough, but they overbooked and forced me to change rooms after the first night. Then they moved me to another hotel which was not as nice. They didn't offer a refund.

      Highly Recommended”
We stayed here for a week on our holiday and were very happy with our stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful in a way that feels unforced and natural. We were helped on a number of occasions with tickets, tuk-tuk etc, and they definitely gave us fair prices. The room was really nice, clean and spacious, the only complaint I had was that the faucet in the shower was very weak, but that's hardly a first for me in Cambodia. They have some animals on the bottom floor that are very friendly with guests once you have stayed for a few days, which is a big plus for me personally but is something you should know if you are not a fan of dogs, cats or chickens. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood but within walking distance of all the hubbub in Siem Reap. I cannot stress enough how happy and comfortable we were here!

      Excellent”
The guesthouse is in a big mansion style house with lots of dark wood and a pretty courtyard. The staff was very nice but only the owner speaks English, so make sure she is there if you’re making plans. The tuk tuk driver she got us for Angkor Wat was great, he took us places out of order so we could avoid the crowds. He was somewhat new to being a driver, but did an excellent job. We were also able to get a ride to the Giant Ibis bus station with her son, who didn’t quite know the way but we were able to give him directions. Overall good place that’s not too close to the craziness of pub street.

      Friendly and Best location”
Staffs and Managements were very friendly with warm welcome. Everything was perfect for my family, spacious bathroom, room furnitures are properly clean, good AC, the only small problem is about the TV channel but anyway we had a great stay there, we will absolutely visit Sawasdee Villa again next time.

      Best budget guesthouse”
I arrived at a burning hot afternoon. After walking from the bus stop to the guesthouse with two heavy backpack, I was exhausted! The owner who always has a smile on her face, inmeditely handed me a bottle of cold water. That's really comforting. This's first time I came to a guesthouse that you have to take off your footwear at the door. Later I found it really good. Not only it maintains the cleaness( they have wooden floor everywhere), but also makes me feel like home. The staffs there always have a smiley face. And the location which I think is the best. It's just 5 mins walk to the Main Street. That makes the guesthouse very peaceful, but you can still enjoy the night life easily. And I have to mention that on the same street there're many nice&cheap cafes, bars, massage places. It's cheaper than the ones at the Main Street, also less crowd. Overall, it's well worth. I extended my stay, coz I really enjoy here.

      A good place to stay.”
We arrived at the hotel after being let down by another as they were overbooked. Be wary because we arrived at the hotel about an hour after we booked it, only for the receptionist to say they were full - 2 in 1 day! She then left for a few minutes to try and sort something, she offered us a single room for the price of one person. We aren’t really fussy so we accepted this. The room we got was basically a double! The bed was big, room was big too, a balcony included, ensuite also. We couldn’t complain at all. The location is good, restaurants/shops on their doorstep and a short walk to pub street. The receptionist was very welcoming and apologetic, would definitely recommend people stay here, just be cautious of them overbooking.

Sakana was my host and handled room logisitics for me effortlessly. I stayed 8 days in many different of their room. I kept rebooking for a few days to view as many temples as possible. Modern Cambodian/Chinese design of the facilities will amaze you. Rent a bike from Peter accross the street.

      So terrible!!”
I booked this hotel from good reviews ,but i am so disappointed.. The room smelled so heavily when checking in and the A/C was working so poor that i have to set at 16℃ in A/C while turning on fan which wasn't kept clean.. I have been here twice before,so i didn't apply any tours in this hotel which they offered. Maybe because of that, they weren't polite and friendly at all when i went outside and met them Anyway you shouldn't book this hotel if you want to enjoy traveling here in Siem Reap! (Location is far from pub street and old market. The road on the way is dusty and dark midnight)
