Faded showgirl but still beautiful”
First and foremost the pools are fantastic. The Cove is the best of all the Atlantis resorts. Room was clean and large. Service twice a day kept you in clean towels! View was spectacular. Walking the many paths connecting the different buildings was phenomenal. Always something beautiful to see. The massive fish tanks in the Royal were amazing. Walking the dig was like walking under water. Unfortunately the tanks were showing wear and one part was leaking badly. The panels of glass were getting hard to see through. Needed some cleaning for sure. Food and drink are excessively over priced and underwhelming. Even though I would recommend the dolphin encounter I did get bit and poked hard in the side by one during the Swim in Wonder. Still, not many people can say they got beat up by a dolphin. It did make going on some of the water park tube rides somewhat painful. Still the lazy river was super fun! Stay on till the very end. It’s like 2 rides in one!

The cove is truly outstanding!, from the moment that you arrive to the moment you leave it has a strong feeling that you paid your money and you did get what you paid for - the wareerparks, the beaches, everything. The major complaint, like many is the cost of food and drink is eye watering and you have to budget accordingly...

Added 12% tax and 19% gratuity on everything”
Beautiful hotel, but couldn’t help feeling ripped off the whole time. The price is not the price, add 30% to the already expensive food and bev. Plato’s Coffee/ Pasteur shop in the Royal Towers was even adding an extra surcharge of 3.50$ surcharge, on top of the 12% and 19% because I ordered a latte, which was considered a specialty coffee. So my latte was 4.95$ + 3.50$+12%tax+19% service. I know people say dont stay here if you are going to care about the expense, and it that that we are cheap it’s just that we don’t like to be ripped off, and that’s how we felt the whole time. I also don’t think the 19% service charge is being passed on to the staff, they were over the moon whenever we tipped extra cash. Unfortunately I dont think we will go back.

I was horrified by the way the receptionist (actually plural due to first check in and last check in). The first check in receptionist was not interested in her job and was not helpful in any way. She also gave me the wrong number of keys, which I asked. The cold, rude and unnecessary attitude must come due to the dollar figure of this hotel. Even Wynn in Las Vegas, City Center, Bellagio, Royal Caribbean Cruise, Norwegian Cruise would not tolerate the attitude and the lack of friendliness. When I came back around 5:00 once again the new receptionist was very cold. When my husband and daughter went to find out the room we had, they couldn't find it and told them I had checked out! Well I was taking a shower at the time they conversed with my family. Outrageous attitude for guests that have paid very very high price for great if not spectacular results.

The Atlantis is beautiful!!! If Hawaii and Las Vegas had a baby it would be the Atlantis. The beach is pristine, I swim with the dolphins today, there’s a Casino, more pools than anybody can think of, the water park, tons of activities, great restaurants, and a movie theater!!!!

the cove is an exclusive 18+ hotel, it felt more private compared to the other hotels at Atlantis with its own pool (18+) and only for cove guests to use. Also, the rooms were beautiful with an amazing view! Came with a free cove label bag and water bottles, the showers were amazing, overall we had a great time and will definitely recommend this to anyone else!

EXPENSIVE!”
The resort is great for families but the food prices are outrageous. An average meal costs more than $40 per person and the food, for the most part, isn't very good. Service is also extremely slow and the added 15% tip and 12% value added tax make this place a difficult choice for many families. There's no escape as a taxi ride just across the bridge is $50 round trip and the restaurants in Nassau aren't any less expensive. There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the room so you can't even heat up leftovers to save money. Unless you buy ramen noodles from the sundries store and heat them with coffee from the coffee maker, you're going to spend a ton of money on food.

Absolument pas un hotel 5 étoiles, une usine . La réception le service une catastrophe. Pas digne d'un 5 étoiles. Déjà on me casse ma valise mais ce n'est personne Ok a la réception je demande si le petit déjeuner est compris dans le tarif on me dit oui , et bien non ils mentent pour voler en faite , on me donne une chambre avec un grand lit en prenant possession de notre chambre surprise , fatiguée après un long voyage déjà installation pas avant 17h j'appelle la réception 7 fois entre les mises en attente et aucune réponse , au bout du 8 eme appel on me demande de descendre pour changer de chambre , non mais je rêve c'est pas du 5 étoiles du tout , je descends pour qu'ont me dise il n'y pas chambre dispo avec 2 lits vraiment aucune qualité de service , hôtel très mes très bruyants et oui même le cove , une usine à bruits et du monde partout limite collé les un les autres . Y a des hôtels plus calme si vous voulez visiter les Bahamas.
