Hotel and staff were fantastic from start to finish. We booked a standard room but a few days before the holiday we received an email inviting us to request upgrades at a great discounted rate which we did. The upgrades to both rooms were honoured and gave us a fantastic view of Times Square but despite being in the centre of NYC the rooms were gloriously quiet. Rooms were both spacious and clean with beautiful bathrooms, the hotel had great restaurants but in addition- Jakes, a great cafe with simple breakfast items good for a light family meal. All the staff, especially the doorman were cheerful and welcoming. I had mentioned in booking that it was my husband and my anniversary and on our first evening the manager sent us a bottle of Prosecco and some chocolate strawberries with a lovely note which couldn’t have made us feel more special as visitors. I do not have anything but praise for this hotel and would thoroughly recommend to anyone. We will definitely be back.

Great Hotel, super location. Great service, Ashley on check in was excellent and so welcoming also Leyton in the restaurant at breakfast was fantastic, world class service from him. Best thing about this hotel is its luxury low key , they just let you get on with your day but are there to help you at a moments notice. Overall a great hotel and I would definitely use again and recommend.

Excellent location for visiting New York. Staff super friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and the bedrooms were sound proof you would not think you were in Times Square!!!! Bar and restaurant pricey as we had 3 children with us but we found Connolly's Irish Restaurant and Bar nearby amazing value with fantastic food and staff.

Great location and nice roooms, but be aware if you book room with breakfast included”
If you book your room at one of the major online booking sites and select room with breakfast included, you will NOT be served a meal as expectet for a five star hotel, but an express cafe with poor service and little choices. Our first morning we had this express breakfast and we complained, as it was not what we expected for a hotel at that level. As a result of the complain we were "upgraded" to the real breakfast buffet at 4th floor, which was great.

Excellent location few minutes walk to Time Square. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Staffs very courteous and helpful concierge. Only concern is room rates are pricey as compared to other in this vicinity.

PROs Great location.. short walk to shows, restaurants and Rockfeller Center. Concierge and Bellhops awesome!! Very attentive and accommodating. Provided nice amenities to celebrate my sister's birthday which made her feel special. Rooms larger than most in New York CONs Drinks on site pricey and I have had much better for less in similar level hotels Rooftop bar opens at 4 ... would have been nice if open earlier on weekends Carpets in halls need updating. They are worn and overstretched which can be a tripping hazard. Had Superior 2Queen room ...couch pillows had food stains on them. For 4 person room bathroom vanity small. This is large contrast to huge.vanity in the king which I stayed in 2 years ago. Light switches on entry to room effects lights in the bathroom which is located on the whole other side of room which causes people inadvertently turn off bathroom lights. This is an annoyance.

Not a 5 Star Hotel”
Definitely not a 5 Star hotel. Service is poor. Had to request daily toiletries, did not come automatically. They gave glass water bottles but no cups so had to request those daily. No coffee service or wet bar in room. In room dining is limited. Location is great. No lobby, definitely not a 5 Star hotel, probably a 3.

$55 for valet for 24 hours is insane. This should be part of the rate you pay. They also charge you $35 fee for services a family would never use and you have to pay it no matter what.

A business hotel without a personal touch. Would never recommend it for families or couples. It feels grey and without soul, no fun or coziness in those walls. And it took half and our before we got our luggage from the reception even though we arrived at at a time of day with few other arrivals.

Was here for Christmas and New Year and was great location. Staff are of great help, room was very nice and bar and restaurant were also of a very good standard. Roof top terrace is amazing and we attended the ball drop function on New Year which was very special. As the location is central and very near the metro getting around is easy, although the streets as you would expect were packed. If you are away from the hotel during the day on new years eve, trying to get back into times square after 3 o'clock is a nightmare as the streets are closed down and you must get through police barriers, make sure you have your hotel pass with you.
