Very nice homestay with beautiful rooms, nice view and friendly owners ”

It's a very nice place, beautiful Balinese home and you can see some rice fields from the upper rooms. The owners are very friendly, the breakfast is pretty good with fresh fruit and it's in Ubud center, but you do not hear the noise from the street. Given what you pay for a room this is actually really great value for the the money. The water pressure is a bit low in our room, but that's not really a problem.

Good budget queen room, too big lizards ”

We spend there 3 nights in queen room. Nice looking place, with siting corner with a view on urban ricefields. A bit not well keeped, according to the state of demaged stuff in the room and not very clean. Some openings are inviting lizards to the room. Poor breakfast. Good budget place for this price with AC

    Not so much”

Cheep, but I wouldn't go there again. Our fan made so much noise it was hard to sleep (but like a sauna if we turned it off) and our plates from breakfast stood on our table until the morning after, even though people walked by a lot. The staff had no idea we were there even though we were showed to our room. Good placement and cozy little garden. Good enough bathroom. No toilet paper or soap, and the sheet was old and too dirty for my taste.

    The most disgusting place”

The room was full of ants that bite and cover the benches and floor they also fall from ceiling that is rotting, they drop on you when the noisy fan turns. They changed our room but into one that the bed had broken timber slats filled with broken ply wood, of course you get woken at 4 am with the twenty roosters and 20 caged birds next door, The staff give you breakfast of bread and banana no good if wheat intolerant, they won't provide anything else. Never ever have I had such a bad experience. I would never recommend this place unless it was to a demolishion team

Good price and location, but a bathroom was so dirty.. got a lot of died insects on the floor and the toilet got shit stain. I asked to clean it, but he said he's gonna do it on tomorrow because maid already gone back. So they don't clean our room on the next day too.

    Central and peaceful. ”

    Central, nice staff, nice vibe

We stayed 4 days, room was large but gets very hot with no aircon just a fan so cold showers go great. Peaceful little courtyard, staff are wonderful. We were tired and walked past the place and continued all the way to the top of Hanoman street following a google maps pin point instead of the actual address no. 51. It's right next to Veggie Table restaraunt and if you reach Earth cafe you've gone too far. Decent price for a quiet space.

    Horrible Service”

    Location, Garden,

Generally, it was horrible. I went to Bali for a quiet retreat. At first, I was impressed by the pictures. But the overall experience is a sheer disaster. The room was stuffy and the pillows smelled old. There were ants crawling on the floor and the ceiling fan's power is a little poor. There is only one electric plug in the room. There were also wings of insects strewn on the floor. Breakfast was not served and there is no staff at night. I also paid the staff 350000 rupiahs for a taxi cab to the airport, lo and behold, upon reaching the airporr, the cab driver told me he never received the payment. By the way, the alley leading to this homestay has very poor lighting at night time.

A bit dirty but very cheap.”

The price was very good. Late check-in was no problems (after finding it!). Breakfast is served on your own terrace.

The price is very good but our room was a bit dirty and full of ants. The bed is right next to a big window which can't be fully covered. We woke up at 6am because some hens and a rooster started cackling. I guess you get what you pay for.

    Location, Balinese style, helpful staff

Right in Central ubud. Four poster bed was a novelty. Mattress was new so very hard but sure these will break in soon. Simple but pleasant breakfast from staff that are happy to help.

Staff and Location great but never again”

    staff, location

Room and the breakfast were simple. Fine, that's what you pay for but the sheets were dirty and it was probably the worst bathroom I had during my trip through Asia. Despite this, staff was friendly and the location was prime so I did add an extra night. Still, I think there's better value for your money in Bali. Wouldn't stay again.

    dirty and noisy”

    staff were nice

The staff were lovely and the location was decent, but this did not make up for how awful the place was. There were ants all over the beds, the bathroom was filthy, there was no sheet on the bed just a small towel. At night it was so noisy I barely slept. Dogs howling, chickens, and whatever that was living in my roof. The room only had net curtains and the door did not lock from the inside. As a girl travelling alone I felt very uncomfortable. I booked for two nights but left after one.

The bedroom was really lovely and very comfortable. The garden around the accommodation was beautiful and relaxing. The location was very central too.

Really nice garden and bedroom. The bathroom was fairly basic and old but this did not bother us. The breakfast was ok toast and fruit. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

    Not quite what expected”

    Location, flexibility, hot water (sometimes)

The location was the best part of our hotel. Monkeyforest and 'citycenter' in walking distance, atm 300 meters away. The staff was alright, when around. We wanted to spend one extra night in Ubud but the staff wasn't anywhere to be found so we could ask about it. 247 reception - nope.

An OK place to stay if on a tight budget”

Great location, traditional architecture, cleanliness of the room

It was ok... The room was comfortable and clean. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that we asked them to have breakfast ready by 6.30 in order to leave on time to the airport and it seems that they forget... We ended up having the breakfast but very late
