The hostel is cozy and the position of the hostel is nearby Asakusa temple and the subway station. And there are many convenience stores and restaurants around the hostel, which is very convenient for travelers.

Chose to stay in Asakusa despite the area not being on the loop subway line. Loved the area. The Enaka Hostel is the perfect pied a terre to explore this area and Tokyo. Very large chill out area on the ground floor. Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly staff.

This was the first place I stayed in Tokyo. It was so good that I've already re-booked for a later date. The amenities are nothing fancy but everyone is really friendly and they have everything you need. for the price I paid I was very happy with my experience.

Near to everything!”
If you want to experience a modern way of Japanese living with a few touch of their culture, you should definitely stay here. Near the restaurants, landmarks and train station. 2 thumbs up! Clean and nice staff as well.

Hostel became 👎👎👎”
I stayed here 2years ago, hostel changed a lot. The Lounge moved from big comfortable 1F to small smelly 6F. I saw they clean only with spray and found a hair on my bed(Definitely not mine).Price and location are still good but i don't think i would stay here again.

Lovely discovery”
Facilities were absolutely spotless, with plenty of toilets and showers available, locker space for valuables within the capsule, great and clean common areas, and lovely staff, all for a very reasonable price. For JR Pass travellers, note that the closest free station is a 30min walk, which could be shortened with the purchase of a metro ticket.

I really enjoyed my stay in this place. The pod was bigger than I think and it has comfortable mattress. The place was really clean and well maintained. For someone who relies on other people’s review when deciding when to stay, the reviews were pretty accurate. It’s close to Asakusa Shrine so my first day list was easily ticked off. I guess what works is that people who stay here really follow the rules of the hostel so it has been comfortable for everyone. I recommend staying in this place for those looking for a decent and budget friendly hostel.

Decent place if”
Upper bunk bed is quite uncomfortable. It was hard to get on and get off, and the stair handle made my hands hurt. Bathroom had two hair dryer which one broke and the other often sparks a bit lights which might be fire hazard? Its also at a weird location and also called "Samurai Hostel" at the same time? Super confusing.

This is the first hostel that I had stayed. And I'm not disappoint with the type of accommodation. This place is very perfect, staff can use English, restroom and bathroom are enough for guest, and very clean. This place around with restaurant and some of attraction place (such as, Sensoji, Asahi-Building). And 1st floor has a bar too.

At first I didnt know what to expect. But the hostel is super clean. The beds are comfy. The water pressure is great. The capsule rooms are quite big for capsules. The staff is super nice and very accommodating. Its really easy to find and close to the metro. I came back there 3 times! The only - : as this is a capsule hostel dont forget your earplugs! For those who wish to visit Tokyo, Asakusa isnt in the center but a very nice neighbourhood anyway!

2nd visit and still like it”
A clean and safe hostel at Asakusa - love the traditional vibe and streets. 2nd stay here and I still think this is one of the convenient and great place to stay given that it gives a different atmosphere compared to living in the town area. Not a huge bed but sufficient space and locker to store your valuables.

Good for Budget”
Liked my stay as the bed was really comfortable and it was very quiet. The bedspace was larger than expected and there were even cabinets with locks. Initially had some worries with security but you there are 2 locks that you can use: cabinet for valuables in your bunk bed & chain lock for your bag (for peace of mind, have a luggage that have locks). Location was also good as it is near tourist spots and getting to the train stations was easy. Had some challenges in the checkout as I thought I could only do it after 8AM, only to find out that you can just leave the keys in a box if no one in the reception is available. Could have left at 7AM. Take note that most ameneties are for sharing (Shared CR, Shared shower). After getting out, you might be surprised to see another person using the sink or drying their hair.

Very good”
The location is spot on, like 5 mins to Asakusa shrine with lots of restaurants and shops around. It is also near the train station. The reception office was very friendly and the hostel is quite accommodative to its Muslim travellers (with halal-friendly food and prayer area). The shower and the toilets are super clean, so those are a plus too. I would totally recommend but ask to choose the lower bed. I got the upper bunk bed and it was quite a pain to get up there. And mine had a smaller ceiling due to design-wise, so I keep on hitting my head whenever I tried to move around. Also feels a bit claustraphobic because there’s little room left for the luggage.

Everything is good, except not spacious”
I went in a group of four people. The partition we stayed is quite small. It would be a headache if you have have things with you. However, I saw the area for individuals was larger... Other than that, the accommodation is very clean and clear, facilities were in good condition and seemed quite new. Very close to railway station.

Nice stay in the heart of Asakusa”
The location is excellent, close to the station, Sensoji, restaurants, shops, Donki. The common area is cozy and the staff speak English. There are more than enough toilets in the female floor, the showers are fewer but I never had to queue. The set-up of the female dorm is nice, I liked that there was a counter against the wall in front of the bunk beds and below was some space to put the luggage with locks even. The cubicle was also spacious enough, with storage spaces and a small foldable table as well. The only thing I didnt like was having to share the room with noisy Chinese tourists who were very inconsiderate of others, talking loudly and on speaker phone at night, but it’s not the hostel’s fault, just putting it out there. Overall I loved my stay here and would love to come back.

I am glad i had chosen here for my stay.”
The location was terrific, just a few min walk to the Asakusa station and is located within a traditional market street. The common area is comfortably set up . The room was spacious and it even provide a lock station for each bed to secure your luggage, the bed was comfortable and there are cupboard, shelves and table inside but it does not make your bed look squeezely. I will highly recommend this hostel to my friends and will definitely revisit again.
