The perfect and best budget Guesthouse ”
I very enjoyed my stay at Erawan House, everything was better than I expected. Newly updated, it's as good as you want it. Shower is powerful and hot, bathroom very bright and clean. Perfect location just at Rambuttri within walking distance to Khaosan road and Phra Artit River pier. You really can't ask for more. I will definitely come back here next time.
Great hotel near Soi Rambuttri”
Great location near Soi Rambuttri. The hotel is clean with nice rooms. The first time we stayed there on the 1st floor, the room was more dark and small. WiFi don’t work in the room. The second time we stayed on the 4th floor, the room was spacious, with lots of light and great WiFi.
Perfect location in a noisy, bustling area!”
I thought that the location of the hotel was perfect, right in the Khaosan Rd area! It was clean, easy to find, safe - locker room all locked up, fee for bringing strangers back to hotel and locked box in the room. There was a lot of signage everywhere to make sure people knew what to do, so I felt like I was in a school! But at least there was order! I would go back, easy location and still quiet enough for the area!
Place is great if you want to be in this area, it backs off a small side alley and was super quiet in the room etc. Room was super clean, bathroom was good.. nice staff, either pay 1000bt for key deposit or leave ID.. 100% would stay again for the price
Small grup backpacking”
We stay here after watch 1st Thai moto GP from buriram.. We only stay 1 night here.. Good location. Near from khao san road, river side, and grand palace.. I'm not sure exactly how many kilometers the hotel from grand palace, but i think it's not far. Still can walk.. The situation at night is quite too.. I will stay here again soon...
Good value for money. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the Khao San road. ”
Good value for money. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the Khao San road. The river is also about 5 minutes walk away too. Reception was friendly and helpful. You do need to leave a 1000 Baht deposit but you get that back when you leave. The room was clean. The wifi was reliable. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the area. I would suggest ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, the walls are a bit thin and some people woke me up leave the hotel early in the morning. This is fairly normal for budget hotels in this area. I took the bus from Bangkok Survanabhum (main airport) to the Khao San road for the 1st time to get to this hotel. The service has only been around for about 18 months. It cost me 60 Baht for the approx 1 hours journey.
Great location but you pay for the room you get...
Nice staff, free bottled water everyday, facilities are okay too. Aircon in our 4th floor room wasn't working but they transferred us immediately to a room in the 1st floor. No elevator so climbing up the stairs all the way up to 4th or 5th floors could be tiring. They have free coffee and tea as well. 1000 baht deposit for the key is a bit weird though.
Great small hotel with required facilities”
Really enjoy my stay as the location was perfect, the staffs nice and hotel basic necessities were provided. For the price, it is ok... and free coffee/tea is supplied at the lobby. Only thing i am not used too, is the shower within the wc/bassin....but it was not much of an issue, as it had great hot water pressure. I moved on later to a 5 star hotel in central city after staying a few days in Khaosan area, but i must say that Erawan House simple cosy atmosphere did miss me.
Loved the location. Nice and quiet. You have bars and restaurants around but more chilled. Very near to khao san rd and to attractions, walking distance. Very close to the river where you can get a boat to go to all the attractions too.
Till next time!”
The location is good and despite being in a small alley way you can book for grab to your destination and they will pick you up at the hotel. You don't have to worry about wear to book your tours for your itinerary, the place has a tour agency situated just by the entrance to the lobby, as well as a money changer. You need to deposit 1000 THB (refundable upon check out). The rooms are simple and clean, air conditioned and with hot shower. You also get 2 free bottles of water per day. Perfect for travelers who want to go visit the temples (grand palace, wat pho, wat arun, etc) since they are near the area and who want an affordable yet a very decent place to stay. You can stroll around soi rambuttri and it's also about a 5 minute walk to khao san. The place around the hotel is quiet and basically everything you need is right outside within a few walks. Staff are very nice. Definitely value for your money. I'll stay here again when we come back to BKK. :)
Such a great location and close to the main areas”
The staff are fantastic and the travel service inside the guesthouse is great. It is in such a good location and easy to get around. It is a matter of a 5 minute walk away from the Khao San Road for the all the bars but nice to come back for a quiet night.
Great Vaule hostel”
The only drawback is the place is a bit hard to find; and my taxi driver had no clues where it was. Other than that, for the price I paid, I'm completely satisfied with the stay. The owners were friendly; and the room was clean.
Great small hotel, on quiet street”
very nice small hotel, out of the way from the noise and crowds of khao san rd, however only minutes away. close to the river to catch the boat. very nice people at service desk. stay here often when on my own.
Staff was really friendly, even you arrived 1 am, shes still smiling and had a jokes "noi" was her name.. Location is good near from the temple and pier. The room was nice, clean, just the tv had no other channel.
Comfy beds and clean”
I worried about security because of all the notes about locking windows ect... but no need to worry all was fine. Very helpful at the information desk for booking onward trips. The rooms were clean and beds and pillows the comfiest yet! The walls are a bit thin but luckily our neighbours weren’t too noisy. All in all a good hotel.
Great place to stay in Bangkok”
We stayed 2 nights and the accomodation was OK. It is a small room, but honestly you don’t need more if you are in Bangkok for 2 days. Staff was friendly and helpful.
So Helpful 😊”
I got sick under my stay, and the staff was so helpful and very friendly. Gave me some medicine and kept on asking me, if I was ok, and very smiling. Good atmosphere. I felt home❤️
Stink room was dirty and stink ”
For budget travelers. ”
Over all is good. It suits with traveling on a budget like backpackers. But it isn't proper for children, elder or disabled.
