It was absolutely amazing stay. The place is so calme and all this bamboo huts look likes a paradise. I lived with a sea view with own bathroom, so my booking was upgraded. And the food in a restaurant is so delicious! Thank you very much for staying. Highly recommended!
Good: its 5 mins walk to the beach on the very far from el nido city, quiet and a good place for relaxing. Staff is good and u have a welcome drink. Bad: the WiFi never worked and electricity is from 18-23:00 only After all is a clean and nice bungalow.
A little piece of paradise in El Nido”
It's about an hour drive from the airport/El nido town, ask erlittop garden for directions via email before you go there. We really loved our 2 day stay im Meeresbrisenbungalow. The room is clean and the view is just breathtaking! Food was good as well! Our highlight was the private island tour starting at the beach there, it was magnificent! Haven't had so much privacy on a tour ever. It feels even more like paradise being on a most beautiful beach without any other tourists.
Peaceful and quiet place”
Perfect place for resting away from everything. The prices of the restaurant are a little bit expensive but there's a few cheaper eateries in the town. The view is amazing, especially around 6 when lots of birds pass flying by while sunset. The sea is not good for swimming, you can only go on tours. If you're staying in the rents be prepared for insects!
Erlittop is peacefull place, perfect for relax and island hopping without crowds. The main struggle comes, when you try to get there. I think, we were super unlucky, because our van from El Nido took about two hours (but the way back was only 40 minutes). But everything was forgotten when we’ve arrived. Cosy accommodation, welcome personal and the gardens!!! Definitely worth to visit!
Back to basics”
Very quiet and far from crowded places. The staffs are very friendly and super nice, though I forgot to get their names but they were very very nice and helpful. If you are a tourist who wants a quiet place to stay, far from a lot of people then this is the place for you. Bring a good book, stay in their restaurant have a good coffee or watch sunrise/sunset then you are all good. If you are looking for fun activity I suggest you stay somewhere close in El Nido town proper where you can do the tours without spending much time in travelling to and from your accomodation. Erlitopp is located in Sibaltan, northern part of El Nido, which is 1 to 2 hrs drive from the town proper depending in your driving speed. We wanted to do the El Nido tours packages but we have to travel to the town proper first so we only did their Maosonan tour which was fine with us because we were only five in the boat and the island was beautiful as well. Some few things I want to share as well 1. From Puerto Princesa to Erlitopp its 6 to 7hrs travel including stop overs 2. They can arrange airport pick up or drop off for Php 700, just advise them of your departure or arrival time. 3. Be prepared as the roads are super Zigzag all throughout the travel 4. Bring heavy duty powerbank 5. If you forgot to get cash from your atm, no worries because they accept credit card and Paypal but with additional reasonable charge. 6. Free wifi but only in their Tapik Restaurant 7. Globe has a decent signal so you can still use mobile data with this network and if you run out of load, they also sell prepaid loads. 8. There is no electricity here only generator from 6pm to 11pm but I didnt mind because of the cold wind all day. Overall, I had a great stay in Erlitopp but next time I visit El Nido I might get an accomodation around the town proper so I can do the El Nido tours. However, I will still consider this place when I want to do relaxation vacay in El Nido.
Relaxing place, sea view cottage”
Good space and nice food
Really beautiful place....would book it anytime again ”
The place is just geogous. Lovely garden. Very good restaurant too. Easy walking distance to beach.
Great location to unwind and to disconnect, the area is far from the busy urban life.
Great location, very at one with nature! ”
Location is great, really quiet area, huts are on a hill so offer great views out to sea. Had the beach to ourselves, down the hill and turn right. Would definitely recommend the boat trip organised by Erlitopp, there were only 5 of us so much more intimate and peaceful than the trips you'll get from El Nido. The best trip we did and we did quite a few. Staff were helpful, food was good. The huts - quite basic but have everything you need. You'll definitely be awake at dawn due to the noise of the critters around. We had a scorpion, rats (in the rafters) and giant gekos to name a few!
Everything is perfect except the distance from the town center. Starting from the facilities down to the food is excellent. Plus they are very accommodating. I would surely recommend this to my friends and definitely come back for a longer stay.
Will definitely comeback for a longer stay and staycation. I would surely comeback here with my friend. The only downside is it is far from town center. The owner and staff are very accommodating. The place is clean and the food is very delicious and diverse. Just 5-minute walk from the place to the sea. 5 stars indeed.
Erlittop Garden is a perfect place for a traveller looking for a quiet place away from touristic places. It's staff is super friendly (we were 3 people all together and they even helped us switch a room so all of us could stay in the same house), breakfast was the best we had during our vacation in the Philippines (lots of variety). The place does not have electricity 24/7 (you do not need electricity during night anyways) and WiFi is in the common area, but this actually made our vacation more enjoyable. Beach is very close, it's not the prettiest, but has some nice places for lunch/dinner and super cheap coctails :) Nature in this place is stunningly beautiful! I highly recommend this place to everyone!
Exceptional experience! ”
Even though we are not the typical backpackers, we didn’t want to go where everyone goes for Holidays in the Philippines. We wanted to have something special for our first big holidays together and Erlittop Garden is definitely the most special place we both ever experienced. 100 % nature, good food, amazing staff and an amazing sunrise which we were able to watch from the double bed of our Sea Breeze Bungalow every morning. We will definitely come back one day! ❤️
Cold showers great bungalow”
We had a bungalow with private bath and enjoyed our stay a lot. They organized a great island-hopping and snorkeling tour for us, for less than the El Nido tours. The wifi doesn't always work, and even if it does it's a bit slow. The food is a bit of a mixed bag, there is cabbage in almost everything (even the vegetable omelett), the fries are good though, as are the pancakes.
the place is really nice, it has an amazing view to the sea and islands on one side, and the jungle and mountains on the other side. The staff is always smiling, and ready to help. They booked our bout tour cheaper than all the other options in town, I recommend a lot to go to the tour, you'll find another kind of beaches. I say this because the beach in Sibaltan is not that good, very shallow and full of seaweed, so it's difficult to swim. But anyway, it's very quiet if you're looking for rest. Food in the restaurant is inexpensive and very tasty!
Quiet time ...”
After few days of staying in El Nido town proper, I needed a quiet place away from the crowd. Erlittop is located east of the town proper and has wonderful bay view sans the noise and crowd. It was a good way for me to end my visit in El Nido in a peaceful, quiet place.
If you want to seek out the true beauty of the island”
Although this place is about 45 minutes to 1 hour away from El Nido town, it is well worth the adventure and trip. Everything about this place is perfect - the location, the variety of accommodations, the food and the costs. If you want to get away from over priced food and tours and have an exquisite experience with locals then don't miss this opportunity to stay at this gem. I am also speaking from the POV of staying at the luxe B&B beforehand - the Amankan, which is situated in the town centre; however, I would definitely choose the option of staying in a clean traditional hut, surrounded by nature and beautiful views of the bay any day. The staff is also very mindful of their guests and you can feel their compassion and willingness to give you the best service.
Perfect place to relax”
First of all, the staff and the owner were very kind and fun to talk to. Second, the place is definitely a paradise. I woke up every morning with a stunning view of the sunrise by the ocean. About 2-4mins walk you can reach the shore and few people are there. Every bit of this place is the escape you've been wanting. Serenity and kind people around you. The only downside if you'll stay here is the electricity which only runs from 6PM to 10PM, I hope in the future it will be fix. But all in all, the experience was amazing. I will definitely come back and stay here again.
Excellent place far from the crowd”
Cons: energy just from 6 to 10 pm No hot water Don't expect to have wifi signal Few options to eat nearby Beach not as nice as you would think. And the worst: Katar van, the only regular shuttle to Sibaltan. So, just be aware of all these minor issues and plan your trip. After taking tour A in El Nido and seen the sunset at Las Cabanas, go to Sibaltan to see the sunrise and take their tour, with much nicer corals and a perfect beach to relax. Just don't take katan van straight from Puerto princesa. I would recommend also to buy a Sim card with data, a power bank, a flashlight and a book. And then spend a week there, if you have time.
