Recomendable
Very delicious breakfast and super friendly front desk person!! I am checking in late at night around 12 midnight and the people were very happy to help us!! Excellent experience, just nice medium room, very clean!!
Thank you for staying with us and sharing your experience at our hotel. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to serving you again!
Great staff and delicious bread”
My wife is pregnant and I have my 5 yr old daughter in our trip, we didn't find it hard to go around Osaka from this hotel. There's a bus stop just one corner away from the hotel. It's near some public park and the area is noise free. Love their bread which we found out to be their own made. Would book again and will recommend them.
Comfortable stay with a nice breakfast ”
The highlights for us were the complimentary breakfast (pasteries, cofee, orange juice, etc.) , and the room size. This hotel is about a 15 minute walk from a train station, but it's in a quiet neighborhood.
value for money”
although the room is really small but we managed. the staff speaks english very well and very helpful. it is a 10minute walk from awaza station and also from osaka international convention center. lots of stores around the area and easy to get taxi.
It was generally okay. The hotel was clean and comfortable and room was bigger compared to similar hotels. Internet access was free and reliable but a bit far from train stations and the city center though there is a bus stop near the hotel. Breakfast is also the same everyday.
Small But Affordable”
we enjoyed our stay in family inn fifty's osaka despite its location. the nearest station (higobashi) is a 10 minute walk from the hotel but since it was winter when we arrived, it was a perfect way to immerse oneself in the city. if we had to walk during summer, then it would be a different story. it's just inconvenient when you still have to walk for 10 minutes after spending the whole day touring and shopping. depending on where you're coming from, it might be hard for taxis to drop you off at the hotel itself because it's situated on a one-way street. we took taxis from shinsaibashi and we had to be dropped off at tosabori dori and walk around 50 meters to get to the hotel. when we booked a hotel here at agoda, it said studio twin with breakfast non smoking. but the hotel staff said breakfast was not included. so be careful when you book your room and confirm beforehand. we didn't bother arguing with the staff because we were never awake in time for breakfast anyway. the staff spoke adequate english so we had no trouble checking in and out. check out was really easy - you just have to leave your key cards at the front desk. the room was small but expected. it has a small tv that we didn't really use. what surprised us was the bathroom. it has strong water pressure, hot water, and was quite spacious relative to the size of the room. the hotel looked like a 1950's bed and breakfast, hence the name. the amenities looked a bit old but were clean. the building only had 3 floors but had an elevator which was very convenient. wifi was free but rooms far from the lobby can no longer access the wifi. we were fortunate to stay in a room near the lobby so we still had wifi access, despite the low signal strength. they do, however, have 3 computers with internet that everyone can use. so overall, given the price we paid, we were satisfied with our stay in this hotel. i will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends who are on a tight budget going to osaka.
the hotel offers you breakfast and its delicious with both japanese and european style foods. subway stations are far from the hotel but there’re some buses that stop near the hotel. if you are a non-smoker and you hate the smell the smoking room is not a recommendation as the room will smell a lot. so a non-smoking room is a must. overall i would recommend this hotel if you are travelling with your family
A normal hotel with minimal facilities ”
A normal hotel with minimal facilities. The room has no side tables to leave your valuables or drinks. Either you leave them on top of your suitcase or on your bed. Room carpet is filthy with stains.
Thank you for your stay. Our hospitality await your return sometime soon.
Hotel is over rated”
Not really pleasant at all especially if you were traveling with young kids. The hotel is quite far from azawa or higobashi station, and worse still, you need to take a bus from higobashi station if you prefer not to walk. Bus fare is ¥210. Breakfast variety is limited, only flour or you called it, bread. Plus, the basic coffee or orange juice. Hence, do not expect, sausage, bacon, pancakes etc. Whereas for the room, bathtub is dirty, and toilet bowl doesn't have essential washing facilities found in most of the hotels here. I do not recommend this hotel at all.
Clean and friendly staff, value for money.”
Excellent! Small rooms but comfortable bed and clean rooms. Very near bus stops. Location is also in the central business district. It is near the Science Museum and Universal Studios. I bus ride away from Osaka Station.
small but clean and affordable room”
we had good stay in Family Inn Fifty's Hotel. We stayed there for 5 days. I was with my family (2 kids). The room has no cabinet so we had hard time organizing our things especially our clothes. The room is small but clean. Food served during breakfast is good with different kinds of bread, egg, rice, coffee, juice and other Japanese food.
Budget friendly hotel”
The hotel is close to the Awaza train station. Very accessible from the airport by train. Only 2 train changes. The hotel is approximately 500 meters from the station & not too difficult to find. The rooms are a bit small which makes it open luggages. Staff is very helpful and speak good English. Breakfast is bread & boiled eggs. Since we were out the entire day, the room was good for sleeping and luggage storage. Truly value for money considering Japan hotels are expensive.
Great place to stay”
We stayed here for a week and did many day trips around Osaka. The hotel was clean, and a free breakfast was provided from 7-9am everyday, consisting of cold boiled eggs, various pastries, coffee, juice, tea, boiled rice, and pickled things which was helpful. Rooms were clean and large by Japanese standards and they give you extra towels everyday! The shore was amazing after a hot humid day!
Simple Room, Decent Location, Served It's Purpose”
Our stay was fine and pleasant. The hotel is approximately 15 min walk from Higobashi station. The area of the hotel was fine and safe and not far from convenient store such as Family Mart. Breakfast was simple - some rice was available with pickles but no meat and a range of pastries were available also. Orange juice was flowing well. The breakfast area was big, 2 floors, and neatly arranged. The staff were generally welcoming to us and we struck up a good relationship with some of the staff who seemed pleased that we were staying with them. Internet was available in our room but we did have a problem with it on one night which was rectified by the manager when we raised the issue.
Great budget friendly hotel! ”
Hotel is located in a quite neighborhood and it's easily found (it's 10-15 mins walk from Awaza station), there are plenty of restaurants and mini marts around so it's really convenient, hotel staff are extremely friendly and speaks great English, check in and check out was quick and easy, rooms are clean, beds are made/ new towels are provided on a daily basis, hot water is consistent and water pressure is fantastic, air condition works perfectly, and the one thing I like the most is the hotel only has 3 floors so it's extremely convenient to go down for breakfast or use their internet at the cafe. The only con (a very tiny one) is the bed, it's not the most comfortable one, but judging from the price we pay for the rooms, we have no complaint. Overall very pleased with the hotel and will definitely return again!
We stayed here for 5 nights as base. We had day trip to Nara and another day trip to Kobe. Location is not too bad and convenient for both day trips. Simple breakfast enough to keep us going till noon. Easy access not only to city centre, like to both Umeda and Namba but also to Nara and Kobe
Good budget hotel with great location.”
It was wonderful experience staying in this cute hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Restaurant was beautifully designed. Location were good as we can easily reach the bus stops to go here and there. Schedules were on the dot. Osaka JR Station where we can go for shoppings activities were 10mins with bus. Nearby convenience shops too. We had great time staying in this hotel.
