GO HERE. We didn't want to leave.”
Its stunning. Nice sand, clean, great swimming, BEAUTIFUL water, good snorkelling (big sea turtles), and cool pearl tour. Got a good deal on Agoda and just kept extending our stay. stayed 7 full days, 6 nights. Food was fine, wine was good, beer was cold, they had little snacks to munch on, and their juices/mixed fruit drinks are DELICIOUS. You can walk around the island and it's really a nice walk. Sunsets are INCREDIBLE. Bed was a little hard, but who cares! We did an island hoping tour to the long stretch of sand island, and its amazing. Nineith (spelling? 'Nannieth') the manager is so awesome- funny, smart, great overall. She's also the dive master, and if theres anything you need, she will sort it out. All the staff were amazing. We will definitely go back. Also- if you're early for the boat in Taytay, there's a cool Spanish fort by the pier that's worth a walk around. We stayed in the golden queen villa (I think) to the right of the pearl showroom. Right on the beach. Private!
A serene place to stay.”
The island is highly recommended for those who want to have a peaceful place to stay away from the busy metropolis. The staff are very friendly and accomodating. We were upgraded from hillside to beachfront since we are the only guest for 2 nights. Food served is fair enough for its price since its very far from the town market. The island is beautiful and i like the sounds of the waves and the chirping of birds at night and early morning. It is a very peaceful island and the water is clear surrounded by fine white sand.
Hidden Paradise ”
Super friendly staff, the Island is a small paradise, quality of food can be improved (temperature, assortment). And I would suggest to have the breakfast until 10am instead of 9am and start dinner at 19pm instead of 19:30pm. If you book a hut with fan be aware of criters. Another item to be aware of is the extra transfer costs to the island, it’s slightly pricy. Would defenitly recommend the place, we had a great time and might come back in the future!
If you want rustic and to disconnect, yes, if you're looking for resort, no”
The meals are buffet style and no other options to eat, only one is included. Rooms are small, low lit, and rustic. If you want rustic and to disconnect then this is a great place. If you're looking for any extra amenities, food options, vegetarian especially, privacy. Options weren't explained to us about all the available activity and nothing available in the room to explain. Meals start late. It is very relaxed island time if that js what you want, it is a good place. For what we paid it was not what we expected. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If you ended up with a smaller crowd you'd have lots of privacy and quiet time. If you want that, it's a good place. Beautiful trek around the island and to lighthouse were the highlights.
We have travelled all over the Phils for Many years and I must say that this is the most amazing place that we have stayed! The cottage is great, the Island is super pretty and the staff is truly amazing ( all of them!!!!!) We also really enjoyed the food!! See you soon again Flower Island!!!!!
We enjoyed our four-day, three-night vacation at the resort, snorkeling among the natural corals on the beach. The glorious glow from the beach, and the perfect sunrise from the top of the lighthouse, were spectacular. The staff were kind and the food was so delicious. The hotel’s free picnic tour was so good.
Absolute Paradise, did not want to leave ”
This place is absolute heaven. I have 0 criticisms. The food is delicious, with sourcing ingredients from the near by organic food island. The staff are so attentive but not over the top. The island itself is picture postcard perfect, surrounded my coral and turtles. The Pearl Farm tour was the best boat trip we've ever been on, and we have been on a lot of boat trips (even after Tour A in El Nido). The food on the boat trip was amazing and there were only 4 of us. The massage was great. The island is really eco which I absolutely loved. I could write reems about this place, do not hestiate to book here, my only regret is that we didn't stay for one more night.
Perfect stay. The staff and location are amazing. In the off season we nearly had the island to ourselves. The pearl farm tour and foundation are educational and impressive. I was a little disappointed they didn't make it easier to buy thier pearls as the selection is limited on the island and the operation gets corporate and impersonal in Manilla. I could have stayed much longer than our 6 days if the food was better, but it was certainly fresh and plentiful.
Genuinely nice experience”
Staff from Flower Island greeted us at the Taytay pier and water-proofed our luggage with giant plastic bags. After a swift speedboat transfer we were greeted by the always kind and helpful staff and given welcome drinks and a short briefing. Overall, the stay at the Flower Island was a superior experience. The is idyllic and beautiful without being pretentious. The staff is extremely kind and seem genuinely interested in making your stay as pleasant as possible. Go for the deluxe bungalow!
Tropical paradise. Were made very welcome by the Brannellac family and all their wonderful staff. The rooms were native huts but maintained to a very high standard. The food was excellent and the service levels high even when there were only two of us on the island. The snorkelling outside the hut was great and the trip to the family's pearl farm was very interesting. Well worth the effort to get there.
NO WORTH IT”
they are not able to give bed sheet without stain i stayed more than half day without water no possble to take shower because the water tank from my room was empty , this is because this hotel have a bad manager , when its only like 10 rooms what you can do at least its to check that the tank for your guest is full , but she dont care about the guest she too busy with diving the transfer price is not include in the room and its so expensive and no choice to use other way than the hotel For 12 K 2 ways island hopping is not worth it , its better in El Nido tbh My advice for this kind of price you will enjoy more your time in El Nido , and you will save 12000 pesos of transfer with better island hopping the food is a buffet only , and i complained that it was cold not anymore warm.... they told me i need to come earlier lol , when you got this kind of answer from a manager , you know that they dont deserve to have any customer
Perfect place to enjoy the beautiful nature”
I spent 4 days on this island. The resort is well integrated in the nature. Rooms/bungalows are nice, without being luxurous, keeping an adequation with the natural feeling of this place. You have a nice snorkeling spot at the beach. Out the wonderful nature, I would come back thanks to the staff, so kind, helpful and all the time smiling. Worth the visit !! I ll come back for sure
we went low season. only 12 guests on island. so quiet....food is great. always freshly cooked. staff very helpful. ask what you want. they give it. if you get travel sickness they take you to the nearest hospital which is a long way away. what an effort!
An Island gem”
A great place to satisfy your Robinson Crusoe desires. A lovely beach, superb sea. Staff were superb and even put on a show on Christmas Eve where they certainly seemed to enjoy themselves. Accommodation very good. Only small gripe is as other save pointed out is that the food isn't always hot. But on the tick side was some of the best we had on our travels in the Philippines.
Perfect island getaway”
This is an amazing place with gorgeous golden beaches , Crystal clear seas, amazingly friendly staff and friendly local turtles right outside your beach hut. The pearl tour is well worth it and the deserted beach stop over for lunch is still the best tuna and crab we have eaten. The only downside is the food at the resort, it is a buffet style with very little choice, and quite often luke warm. We had 11 people at one point on the island and with the maximum not being huge we could not see why the food couldn't of been cooked to order when you sit down as the setting is lovely. Having said that I would highly recommend going there and we would 100% love to go back and stay for longer.
Amazing experience, amazing Island”
We had a fantastic time at Flower Island, where we celebrated our honeymoon. The hospitality of the Island team was heart warming, and views are beautiful from every corner. During our second night we were invited to stay at the lighthouse at the very top of the Island, and woke up to a 360 degree view of the surrounding. Food was tasty, diving service professional and the tour to the neighboring pearl farm and Save Palawan Seas Foundation center was highly interesting. Very recommended - the perfect retreat.
Put simply - the most beautiful place I have ever been. ”
I’ve travelled a lot. This place blew me away in ever respect, if you’re lucky enough to be able to book, 100% do it. You’ll have the time of your life.
A beautiful island hideaway”
We stayed at Flower island for 11 nights in May / June 2018 and would highly recommend it to anyone. The island is beautiful, with a really nice coral reef right off the beach. We saw an amazing array of sea life, from turtles to eagle rays and even some Nudibranchs (sea slugs). My partner was unfortunately ill for quite a while, due to a stomach upset she picked up in El Nido, and the staff at Flower island were absolutely amazing, first helping with some rehydration salts and then taking us by boat to the hospital in TayTay. Huge thanks to them all, and especially Mimi, who stayed with us in the hospital all day to help and stayed overnight in TayTay, so she could come back early the next day and get us back to the island. The food on the island is great, with different delicious home-cooked dishes every day, one night we were presented with a big pile of lobsters for dinner! All the staff are great, very friendly and helpful, and really made us feel at home. We hope we can go back!
Everything was just perfect! The perfect place to unwind and relax. All meals are included, as well as kayaks, subs, and snorkeling equipment - which makes it really worth the money. And the most friendly, amazing staff, just makes it a perfect stay
