This is a good budget hotel in Baguio City. Not so far from town and the neighborhood is quiet. The food is really good and with big servings. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. The room is very spacious except that we needed to transfer to another room because the first room had spider bugs at the windows and you can't close it because it's very rusty. The bathroom needs more cleaning too. I actually had some bug bites. The bed is okay. The wifi connection though is unreliable. I had to use my mobile data for work. Also, the phone in the room did not work, we either went to the restaurant or call the hotel from our phone to order food in the room. This is a really nice hotel though but noticeably old.
I'll be back!”
Location is between five to ten minutes away from Session road (depending on traffic, but I was on a motorcycle), but it was close to where I needed to be, so no an issue for me. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. My only slight complaint is that the kitchen closes early, so a late dinner is better had elsewhere. Other than that, the place was clean, the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the showers were warm, plus they allowed me to park my bike at the covered area near the entrance to the events venue, and the cost of accommodations is better than reasonable. I intend to return here the next time I'm in Baguio on a solo trip.
Comfortable stay in Baguio ”
We had a comfortable stay at the inn, the atmosphere is very nice because the inn takes advantage of natural light, it has a nice view and very airy. Getting to session road or mines view park may take 15 minutes via taxi but you are assured that you will have a peaceful stay in Baguio away from the tourist spots. Getting a taxi is not difficult and the taxi fare from the inn to session road, mines view park or Burnham park is around Php 100 to 150, you may also take a taxi ride from the inn to the strawberry farm which may cost you around Php 250 depending on the time of day and the traffic situation. Breakfast is good.
Big cozy bed. Good parking space. Will definitely recommend ! 💐
Location is great, spacious parking space. Staff are friendly but food utensils at the restaurant were dusty. There were some floating small debris on our drinks when served with their ice-cold water. It's a plus that they were very accommodating, allowed us to have a very late check-in and check-out.
Value for money”
This is one of the most affordable hotels in Baguio. They also serve free breakfast which is a big plus. They have vegetarian choices too. The place is about 3 km from the city proper down Kennon rd. The rooms are clean and the staff are attentive to our needs. I would definitely come back.
Quiet and serene place for the family :-)”
No heater in 2 rooms and there were 2 cockroaches inside our room. However, for the price it offers, I still believe we got the value for what we paid for. Overall I woule still recommend this place for those who want a vacation away from the city :-) Thank you High Point!
Feels like home”
Though the location was quite far from the city, I think its one of their best asset. It was peaceful and the place feels like home. I hope the breakfast selection will be improved and the amenities in the bathroom could be better. Kudos to the friendly staff:) If I get a chance, I'll definitely choose this hotel again:)
We stayed for a few nights during early Panagbenga festival. Even though it seems a little way out from the main centre, getting around Baguio is very cheap. Jeepney right outside the hotel is 10peso. A taxi is less than 70peso.The only issue is that we had a standard room which was on the road side of the hotel and the main road is never quiet. Through the night trucks and other vehicles never stop, so there is always some traffic noise. If you want it quiter then you have to pay a bit more for a room on the other side. The food is very good andf the staff really nice and friendly towards us.
Nice, Quiet Hotel. Best Value for Money”
Although its a bit far from the city center, we thoroughly loved our stay here. Situated at a quieter side of Baguio, we were able to enjoy the cold breeze while having our morning coffee in their gazebo. For its price, the room is pretty spacious. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice Big Rooms with AC and Water Heater”
Breakfast is limited to four selection, however it taste great. There is a breakfast area outside, which is very cozy - country side feel. Area of the room is big, Triple room fits 7 people with an extra bed, however, the T&B is rather small.
Overall stay was great. I like the breakfast, although very limited selection (the free breakfast). We booked 4 rooms and was given one room early check in 11am to store our things. The staff was very helpful, assisting us to put our things in the room. There was ample parking.
Pet Friendly Place”
Rooms are spacious and the location is perfect for us - not too crowded and surrounded by nature. Pets are welcome which is a huge plus for us. The whole area is well maintained and staff are helpful and friendly. Will recommend this place to those who wants to chill and stay in a quiet place.
More room lights, please.”
We attended a training and was hoping to have a place where we can review our lessons in the evening. But the room we had for the five days did not have good lights. There was a table and dresser but there was no light in the area, not even a lamp. The hotel staff are courteous , though.
This property needs maintenance and also needs to have better customer service. The rooms are old and things are broken in the bathroom.
Wouldn't come back. Don't recommend ”
I haven't stayed in other hotels in Baguio, but this one is not good. I've already stayed in many other way cheaper hotels and hostels who were much nicer. The wifi was broken and they couldn't help me even with making a phone call, to the client I was going to meet, which made my life really hard, since I don't live in Philippines and don't have a phone number there. Nobody even cared about it. They don't put warmer blankets in the bedroom and there is breakfast but I asked for a pancake and it was a pretty bad one. I don't need any luxury during my trips, but for the price I paid I was expecting at least some decent stuff. Pretty disappointed, won't ever come back
Spacious rooms and attentive staff”
Rooms were spacious and every staff are attentive to inquiries and requests of my family. Although they do need to be more meticulous with the cleanliness of their rooms as we had to pour some cleanser onto their toilet bowl to remove the yellowish marks and avoid our kid from playing on the floor as the carpet were dusty.
Boring and blank”
Staff were so laid back they seem to be not so committed in their work.Place is clean but it basically has nothing there.Place is right besides the main road where fast vehicles bound for manila pass by.
Enjoyed our stay!”
We liked our hotel. The rooms were very spacious. The bathrooms were ok, a bit old and moldy, but functional. The only thing I can comment on is that we found a cockroach in our room. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at Highpoint!
The place and staff are good and accommodating. Yummy food and good presentation as well. Although, some points to improve is the heater on the bathroom, you need to check the water supply maybe, it's hard for the guest to use, because, sometimes the water was extreme hot or cold vice versa. But other than that the place was really nice and recommendable.
