Por encima de la media”
Room is ugly, old and dirty. Only good is it’s location. Very near to shopping. It would be better if management of this hotel will change the old furnitures and bed. There are stains in the toilet amenities. It needs renovation so customers like us will come back.
Ok for money ”
The room was too small for 2 people but the price was cheap so I agreed. The toilet is very small and not that comfortable. Staff was helpful. It took you 7-10 minutes to walk from Shinsaibashi (exit7,8) station. Many restaurants around the hotel. Ok for short stay.
Affordable for groups of 4”
We're 4 adults with a toddler. Though the room was very small like there was no leg room and our 4 luggages were hard to position; it was good for the price paid. Good thing also that the toilet was separated from the shower room, saves us time in waiting. The staff were friendly and helped us in getting taxi for train transfer.
Front entrance needs a ramp for luggages”
We had to carry our bags since there was neither a ramp or elevator to hoist our luggages. I brought with me my Father and Mother who are almost in their 60s, so we had to hoist our luggages one by one since we had to take the stairs up to the hotel.
Good location and great staff”
The hotel is in good location, very close to the shopping area. But a little bit hard to find where it is. But after all, that is ok. Staff is very helpful, when I ask how to get to airport, they give us very good suggestions.
Fine, only stayed 2 nights, but would have preferred to stay here than in the other hotel I had in Osaka, also for 2 nights. Biggest drawback is no food, really only for breakfast, yes there are other places to eat, but what about convenience? Even if it was just coffee n a croissant!? Handy for the subway, shopping and eating, ideal I would say, in terms of location. Not sure that rooms not being available until 3 pm is entirely necessary, could they employ more cleaning staff?
Good location & near shinsaibashi”
Good location, value for money. Good for small family (less than 4 members). Need to have more details direction & exit information in Namba Station to hotel when u arrive from Kansai Airport. Overall is good experience.
The GM is the best”
The hotel easy to access to subway american town. There are lots of clubs around the area so be aware of the drunken if you stay out late at night. The local staffs are friendly and helpful. Morning free drink till 11am. Recommended for the stay with joy. Sometimes the lift have someone smoking despite "no smoking sign" was in place. I guess people dont understand the sign. Overall good place to stay in looking foward to go back to revisit. Recommended hotel with ease. Book for group room rather than single as group room will be bigger if you want an average presentable size. Suggestion to the hotel please include hbo movies and other channels. Just japanese channel finding hard to understand . Other than that is a good hotel to stay.
Small room, centralized location, convinence ”
We booked a triple room and apparently the room size is very small don't even have space to open up our luggage however that how Japanese's building are built. The hotel location is quite near the main road but it's quite hard to find at the 1st place. For new comers, pls look for a triangle "concrete" park and Family Mart as a land mark. Subway is actually 15mins walking distance, nearest station is Shinsaibashi then look for Prada and Nike shop as a guideline to find your hotel! Cheers
small room but pleasant stay..”
room is small but clean. provided high speed internet for free. location wise is very good, near to the subway station and namba JR station. easy access to anywhere. Furthermore, it is located at the shopping mall area, very easy to locate the restaurants and convenient stores. The hotel staffs are also very friendly and helpful. They can speak well english. Only downside is the checkin time is at 3pm and the check out time is at 10am. Personally, i feel it is a little bit too early to check out. Other part of Japan usually allow the guests to check out at 11am. However, as for this hotel, If you wanted to extend the check out time, they will charge 1000Yen per hour. That's the hotel policy.. Anyway, overall it was still a pleasant stay. The location of the hotel made up for everything. Oh ya.. Don't forget this hotel has a cute little pet. Love that rabbit so much.
Affordable and great location”
The location of the hotel was right in the heart of Shinsaibashi. We were a band travelling for a show and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The free internet was a bonus and the staff were helpful.
No Value here”
Old hotel, smelled like cigs everywhere. rooms are very small too (well this is expected in Japan) but the facilities are really old. Its not even close to the local rails nor is close to dotonbori. I think its still a 10 min walk to any train or to doton. You can find a better deal elsewhere. Bad value for money. Will not be staying again.
Value for money but a little out of the way”
not really a good location if you are using JR pass as you need to go to osaka main station for transfer. Room wise is indeed very budget, unable to adjust temperature for the aircon, toilet bowl is the worst i’ve encountered in my life as your inner thigh will be wet after peeing, try it for yourself. other than that, shops and food are everywhere around.
Dirty. Not worth it.”
Good location, but the room was dirty. The marks on the walls, doors, and broken carpet and marks (blood or soy sauce?) under them, broken facilities in the room, the smoking smell ( even the front desk staff spent 3mins telling me this is a non-smoking room and how important for me to follow this rule).... I have taken photos but can't share in this post.
Osaka Family Adventure”
Very near shopping and dining and Dotonburi
Great location but a little old”
Located very near train stations, shopping areas and only a few minutes walk to the Dotonbori, this is a very convenient location. You're also near eateries like Matsuya that's open 24/7 and convenience stores. The rooms are a little small and dark and a bit old. The photos and the real thing are not the same. Maybe they could do some renovations. Staff is helpful and you can leave your bags there 24 hours after checking out, so don't worry about the early checkout times. Plusses for the cute rabbit mascot in the lobby named Hiroshi (yes a real live rabbit). =)
Por encima de la media”
The hotel is renamed as Areaone Hotel but labeled front. I'm need to use Google Map find for hotel and walk into ask hotel staff. For the first night, no drinking water is provided in your room but get drinking water in second night. Environment around the hotel is pub&bar which have many japanese bad boy and unsafe. I will never come back to this hotel, absolutely.
The hotel staff are not helpful and dont understand simple english”
The hotel staff are not very helpful and accomodating... I lost my luggage and i just asked them a request to just give the forwarding address of my luggage to the airport staff.. But then they just simply said that they don't care...the staff don't know simple english.. It's very hard to communicate with them..
Please dont choose this hotel. I had already blacklisted this hotel. This Hotel is the worst I live in Japan. Cleanliness: All the thing is old and not clean. the room and everywhere are smelly. Location: It is not convenient at all although you can walk 12 mins to Staff: The staff are with bad attitude and even no customer service oriented. Unlike other Japan hotels, this hotel's staff are not helpful, serve you with poker face, and it's like you owe them money. Dont use this hotel if you can.
