Buen hotel aunque algo anticuado”
5 Star Service!”
Excellent Stay, Excellent Service! Zero complaint. I left some of my luggages and snowboard before gong to Iceland w/o being charge. It's only 1min to tube too. I will only want to stay there whenever i visit London again.
Good location and service”
Located right next to Gloucester Station which was very convenient. The porter was extremely helpful and certainly a highlight. Otherwise, service was neutral. They didn't go out to make us feel welcomed but neither did we feel that service was poor. Rooms are on the small side but still comfortable. Not much to complain about but nothing stands out that makes it memorable.
Very top rate hotel staff very help and friendly the hotel is under renovation but i didnt mind it due the top rate quailty services however the lift made me concern a couple of time. But they are fixing that issue as well in recom should become a full 4-5 star hotel after remodleing
Great service and location”
Located just next to the Underground, the newly renovated single room was big and clean. Staffs are able to make quick decisions on services provided, polite, and friendly. WIFI is not free in the room but free in the lobby.
Super Friendly Staff”
I spent three nights at the hotel during an overseas teacher's job fair. The hotel was clean, centrally located and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Great pubs in walking distance and the tube is literally right across the street. Internet was slow, but that was probably because 700 teachers and over 150 recruiters were all trying to get on line at the same time.
Rooms comforts are very varied. My first night was a low level room facing the main road and I have noise throughout the night. Subsequent upgrade to a higher level room eliminate that problem. Likewise, the size and layout of the room can vary even within the same category.
Excellent location but old hotel”
The hotel is located in a good area, close to many restaurants and shops. It is located right in front of the underground station; therefore transport becomes easy all over London. The area is safe throughout the day due to its location. On the other hand the hotel is very old, I was told that it was built in 1875, therefore you have to be a fan of classic furniture to like the place. Each room has a different size, I was lucky to get a big room.
Not value for money ”
Except for the location, the rest are not really fantastic! We book two rooms, one of which is so small and is not suitable for two persons. We request to change the room the next day and they want extra charge. After some arguments they only agree to change!
We are very satisfy with our stay. We traveled with our young kids, hence we get the family room with 2 double beds. The Luxury Family package came with breakfast and lounge access. The location is good, just opposite the underground station.
Perfection at its Best”
We had the most wonderul stay at this hotel, I was so impressed with all the staff, they made us feel so welcome, and the smiles on their faces, just wonderful, (good staff moral) Everthing was exceptional, from staff, to food, to a a warm friendly welcome, the bedroom was very cosy, and we slept well, very clean, (if I had to make a little suggestion, pillows need to be address,) but all in all, a exceptional hotel, and we were sorry to go home, and we are looking forward to our return to The Baileys. Thanks to all the staff for making our trip well worth it in every way. Well done to you all. Ger and Sean
Amazing hotel and location”
The hotel is so beautiful. It is literally at the doorstep of the Gloucester tube station, and has a large selection of restaurants within a block. The staff are amazing and so very, very helpful. The beds are comfortable, and our room (115) was incredible: lovely furnishings and very comfortable beds with a HUGE bathroom.
Location. Old charm. ”
Great stay at Millenium Bailey's. Location can't be beat in kensington. Get out of Gloucester station and you find it there. Close to good selection of restaurants and kensington. Rooms are average in size but good enough for a period style built hotel. Hotel has its charm. But don't expect to spend much time in the room or the lobby. It's good choice to go out and explore london and come back to a good room.
Staff went above and beyond”
Beautiful, charming, comfortable and clean hotel right across the road from Glouster Road Tube station so perfect when traveling to and from Heathrow Airport on the Picidilly Line. Same line for Covent Garden and Theatreland so perfect for us being there on a weekend break. My 81 year old mother took ill during our stay and the staff could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty in many ways to make a very stressful situation as stress-free for us as possible. The staff in general in this hotel are lovely, warm, friendly, polite and efficient (we couldn't get the tv to work and someone was sent up immediately)and i would have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again or highly recommending it to others. 10 stars from me!
Great place! great location! great staff!! The hotel is in front of the Glocester Road tube station, there are a lot of pubs, restaurants and shops in the area; the staff was very polite and skilled. The room was very clean and big enough for two people. No noise during the night. I really suggest this hotel for holyday or business trips.
Great location, comfortable hotel”
We had a good stay as a family of 6 taking 3 rooms at the Bailey's. We had no problem getting to the hotel as the cabbie immediately knew where the hotel is, calling it 'The Bailey's'. On arrival, I upgraded and paid for club lounge access which I feel was worth it with unlimited wifi and lounge access with breakfast. Room was big, toilet was decent, heating was great esp in this winter month. We were given 2 free bottles of water a day and the room was quiet as we didnt hear much traffic sounds except the occasional creaks of the floor. Very old hotel with a long history, it made a fascinating stay for the youngest in the family. The one negative incident I had was that one of the 10nights we stayed at the hotel, a fire alarm went off twice and caused some members of my family a very disturbed night at 1:30am as we had an early tour in the morning at 6am.The next morning, a letter was sent explaining s false alarm but we were very tired during our tour due to disturbed sleep. Concierge seems confused about the parcel service at the hotel. We bought a lot of souvenirs and wanted to courier them home home and was told FedEx was the courier service they use. But due to lots of confusion regarding the hotel actually having an account with fedex, then trying to get boxes to pack our souvenirs home etc, it caused a lot of stress and delay. We finally managed to start a new account with DHL and got our parcels and shopping home via DHL. Otherwise, great hotel. The staff allowed us late check out the day of departure which ended our holiday on a lovely note.
classic English hotel ”
Wonderful experience and the children loved it. Perfect location. Just infront of Gloucester station, it gives us the welcome feeling as you step out of the station. parking was a real issue. I rented a car and was not able to park in front of the hotel to load up the luggage. The staff simply tell you they can't help you with the parking warden as the road at the front is not under the hotel. But without a porch have they thought about how guests are supposed to handle the parking for few minutes. Otherwise it was fantastic staying at the hotel.
Good location and Friendly staff”
The hotel has an excellent location with close proximity to Underground station, supermarket and restaurant. The hotel staff, particularly Stanley, Hansa and Sonny, are all very friendly and helpful. Nevertheless, I would like to suggest two improvements. First, to brighten up the hotel room lighting as it is too dim. Second, to improve on the fruit selection for the breakfast buffet.
The Bailey's is in a fantastic location, right across the street from the Gloucester Road tube station. The room is small & cozy. The bath is nice & big. The staff are friendly & efficient. I would definitely stay here again.
Charming hotel at great location.”
We stayed 4 nights at the Bailey's. We saw the good reports and decided to book it. No regrets at all. The location in cozy Kensington right at the entrance of the Glouchester rd tube station is great. Lost of nice pubs and restaurants just around the corner. The hotel itself has charm, yes it is old but the maintainance is good. Rooms and bathroom are not really big, as in most London hotels. Try to book a roomrate inclusive breakfast, as the breakfast and service is great, but a not included breakfast is expensive. Internet is free at this hotel. We had a great stay!
