Moha Mohori by Sokha Hotels & Resorts”
No volvería nunca me siento estafada
staff are friendly and provide good services to us”
everything were great during our stay, but there is water leaking through the roof top during our first night stay. we had change the room in second night, the staff are providing us a very good services, especially when i left my spectacle in my first room, they bring back the spectacle to me. appreciate that.
moha mohori by sokha”
the most beautiful and impressive room (more like a house) we have ever stayed in. we got a great early rate deal and paid a fraction of the cost of this room but had we paid the full amount or if we had been on a honeymoon we may have had a few issues. the jacuzzi was so large there was not enough hot water to fill it up! it only fills about a fifth of the tub before the water goes cold and you have to wait at least 20 minutes before you can run it again. the cupboards were a nightmare to open (sliding doors kept jamming) and there was a kitchen with microwave, a oven hob etc. but had no plates, pots or cutlery! but apart from some of these issues... the room itself was just stunning and more than made up for some of the faults.
Nice room but tired looking and lake is not looked after.”
The room is very spacious and beautifully detailed, but now showing its age. The water chalet is surrounded by a lake which is dirty and not looked after, so that was a shame. The resort has very good facilities and good buffet breakfast, however the maintenance of the water chalet and surroundings was a real let down. Overall this felt more like a 4 star resort and probably would have been 5 when it first opened. On a final note the staff are very professional and accomodating and the private beach is very clean and relaxing.
While there are remittence of 5-star hotel, staff service, the infrastructure is in need of some maintenance. there are areas of needed repair. The Staff truly made the staff awesome. The breakfast buffet has many options, with the most popular having lines. There is plenty of staff for service, yet the seating was always full. The pools were in great condition with fountains not working. many of the Grass roofs need re-thatching. the grass does not grow in Cambodia in the dry season. Overall if service is your numbering this is the place for you. IF your into looks you will find this place to fall short of the 5 star rating. Its proximity to other beach areas is a draw, when speaking to locals, the resort management has made it known that the beach is not for locals to visit. would have hoped for a more community oriented resort. It is different that all that is offered int he area, with wide open spaces.
no, no, no, no, no.”
we thought we were booking at a small, romantic resort, which is what it seems like from the listing. don't be fooled. however, "moha mohori" is a section of the massive, super commercial, consumeristic sokha hotel. we spent christmas eve here, which means we were required to spend to join their gala buffet dinner. not only did it not include any wine pairings, it didn't include any drinks at all. not even water, and let me remind you, the tap water isn't drinkable in cambodia. the food was terrible. inedible. because of the quality, but also because it was covered in ants! i know it was outdoors, but come on. the food wasn't any better at the buffet in the morning. do not stay here. so disappointing.
over water huts”
We stayed in overwater huts rooms out of this world but a bit far from main hotel have to dial to get picked up food good but over water looks like shreks overwater Swamp so many insects cant sit outside be better off in hotel
Bundalows are stunning - great place to relax”
Amazing rooms. Just wow. We stayed in a Chalet on the water (Moha Mohari). Just be aware that the water there is a breeding grounds for mossies, so it's not a good idea to sit outside at night. The private beach was lovely and quiet but full of jellyfish so best used for sunbathing and strolling, and swimming can be done at the pools (bonus that the swim up bar does great cocktails). Service was great. Food was good. It is a large, crowded resort so you do run the risk of being surrounded by annoying, loud tourists as we did. The rooms were really nice - beautiful, relaxing, huge, comfy beds. One minor complaint is that although the daily cleans were good, our room could have done with a more thorough monthly clean - there was cockroach poo in the kitchen and stains on the bathroom walls. Aside from a few particularly loud and obnoxious fellow travellers, we really enjoyed our stay here. Would recommend.
Luxury villas sitting in a dirty pond”
Moha is a sub-set of Sokha Resort and shares facilities with it. (breakfast, main pool, restaurants). At double the price it offers exclusive villas with additional pools available just for the Moha guests. The rooms are as good as the photos - large, luxuriously appointed, etc. We were the ONLY guests in Moha the first night - on the second night another villa received guests. Most of the villas face dirty lagoon, only some offer ocean view filtered through palms and shrubs. The management in its wisdom uses chemical to combat mosquito in the lagoon (instead of letting fish take care of it) and so nothing lives there - all plants are dead, the water is muddy and black and there is weird scum floating on the surface. The walkways are wide concrete with rough surface, not a plant in sight. looks very industrial, as if the villas were still under construction. Planting mangrove palms would go long way in softening the drab surroundings. Beach on the Moha end is very quiet as most of the Sokha guests stay closer to their buildings. In the future we would bed in the cheaper part of the resort. The beach is long and nice, clean warm water, safe bottom, well maintained sand. Our of all the beaches in Sihanouk this is the best of the best - as it has only one, generously laid out resort.
Beautiful room with an excellent ocean view”
We had a fantastic view of the ocean and the fishing village located a short distance away from the water chalets. In the evenings the villagers come out to the edge of the river in the chalet area to fish. We would've stayed an extra night but unfortunately the chalets were sold out. Lemongrass Restaurant onsite is excellent.
More expensive, but very nice”
this was a very luxiourius stay. the huts are over water which is pretty cool. these huts had everything, deck, spa, deckchairs, bath, shower, kitchenette, etc etc... the bed was massive. cons were, breakfast was quite a hike to get to probably 10 mins walk. things at the resort were more expensive compared to elsewere in cambodia.
Nice stay with big family ”
Wonderful experience ”
The staff are nice and thoughtful, we stayed here for two nights. The beach is clear and the sand are soft, kids and us are so happy with this stayed.

Good for couples. Best if you go in dry season.”
The house feels a bit dump during rainy season and air-con is not strong enough to get rid of the smell. Best if you go during dry season.
