High value for the dough ”

Compared to all other hotels I stayed in Mindanao, Royal Garden Hotel in Ozamiz was in a different league. The interior was fresh, the aircon strong enough, the staff was professional and the restaurant served excellent food. Next time I go to Ozamis I will accommodate at Royal Garden Hotel again. I give it 4 stars out of 5.

Excellent from desk service and great location”

Enjoyed my 2 days stay due to easy access to shops and eating places. Great staff responses and followup. Excellent Local food at the hotel cafe though complementary breakfast is below expectations due to lack of variety. Suite is very comfortable and spacious.

Freindly reminder.”

My third visit. Possibility of having a designated time for silence or muted conversation. Some are still using the function hall even at 11pm and some people are still loudly talking at the corridor even at the wee hours of the night. Give some occupants time to rest, not all are there for socializing.

Excelente”

the place is nice. one of the best in the city but... they need plumbing 😡. clogged sink and shower..it was annuying. my friend had to wait for minutes before she can use the shower..we had to wait for it to drain.. but the staff are friendly, place is affordable, nice pillows, cold ac, spacious rooms, nice interior, wifi is good in some areas but in our room (402) we can’t connect.. we had to go out of the room. there’s a very good restaurant in the first floor as well. over all im satisfied with minor inconvenience.. 😄😄😄

Best Hotel in Ozamiz”

I had the honeymoon suite. Dated hotel. TV reception is spotty. Water standing on the bathroom floor due to the drain opening to high. Electrical lamp by the bed shorting out. Breakfast rates a 5. Note- The ferry ride from Mucus to Ozamiz is on a roll on roll off (ro ro). Long crowded dusty road and people line to and from the ferry . Dodging large trucks speeding away from the ferry. Local foreigners claim they are safe living there.

Ozamiz Trip”

It was a great trip. I did not expect a nice hotel in the area. I was surpirsed and its a value for money. As solo traveller i really enjoyed it the room is clean, the hotel overall is nice. Ill definitely go back in this hotel.

Good hotel!”

I was there 2 years ago but then it was not so good so I Think it is renovated. Good space in the room and the internet was very good. I enjoyed my staying there. If I come once again to Ozamiz I will use this hotel.

Outstanding Hotle”

This is buy far the best hotel for miles around .We stayed there a week and everything was perfect. The staff is very helpful, location is in the heart of town, and the restaurant was excellent and very reasonable. This hotel has all the qualities of any hotel in manila or cebu.

Very good ”

The hotel was very good and clean and right in the heart of Ozamiz. No tea and coffee making facillaties in the room wich was very dissaponting and 65 peso for a coffee in the bar. Coffe in most places does not cost much more than 10 peso. But its a nice hotel and would deffinately stay there again

Good hotel”

Big room for single occupancy,bed is comfortable with 2 big pillows and fresh white comforter, with tv, closet . The bathroom is also big with hot & cold shower but they should install bidet for more comfort in the cr. The employees are courteous and Hukad restaurant is in the ground floor. All in all I’m satisfied with my stay . I will recommend to my family and friends.

Room is quite big and good. But I didn’t expect that no refrigerator, no vault, no bidet and most of all no blower in the bathroom. U have to ask the front office and bring u one. But if u are staying a night to wait for ur flight it’s not bad to stay.

Lacks storage space and no windows”

This review is based on a triple room. The room is well lit & clean wd good pillows. The room is w/o window so there is no signal for cellphone & had to use the wifi wc needed several calls to front desk before we were able to use. Secondary lock on door is defective. Big bathroom area but not functional, the space ate the living space of the room; there is no bidet & shelves, no cabinet for H2O closet which could have been used as shelf for toiletries. Hot H2O is strong at shower & at lavatory wd lever faucets. No drawers or storage space under dresser & side tables wc are fixed on the wall limitng flexibility in arranging the beds. Clothes cabinet is w/o shelves except above clothes hanger, nor drawer. Considerng this is a family room for several guests wd considerable baggage, it lacks storage space. Good general amenities in common areas but poor room amenities relatively which is more important bec. you spend most of your time in the room; good service of staff & good location.

Good enough”

The hotel is small. But some of the receptionist is quite rude and sometimes unanttentive with customer. This is the first time to see the hotel staff where all sleeping during shift when we went out at 4:30 in the morning. The hotel sometimes smell like someone is smoking. The good thing is their pillow is so good. I was just hoping their cr have biller. I think it's only few good hotel in the city

Housekeeping staff very helpful . The reception staff needs to improve their handling of customer's inquiry especially if there's an concern that needs to be addressed. Business travelers value rest since most of the day were made with business meetings, a good night sleep is very valuable, but not this time of or stay since the hotel just had their renovation and the paint odor is painstakingly unhealthful inhaling it in a room without window. The hotel management never reconsidered a room transfer for the guest(s) affected in such kind of room.

The time we booked the all rooms seems underwent renovation, however, there were no signs of wet paint in the door edges so everytime you lock the door, you will always have your hands with paint. The strong odor of the room without window combined with paint odor will keep you awake as you breathe in all these odors. Had seek assistance every morning with the reception staff to please address the issue by putting at least a dehumidifier or if cannot at least transfer to a room with window (since guest has nothing to do with the renovation normally other hotels in the same renovation gives us another room where we can breathe normally without pain or solvent air) but to no avail. We are a regular business traveler that stays in different hotels every week and we highly value customer service since we always come back every other month to every place and province.

Convenient Hotel to Stay in Ozamis”

The city has very limited choice of good hotel to stay. Royal Garden is conveniently situated and seemed to be maintained well despite the age of the building.
