Unfortunately I only stayed here for one night. The price paid for the hotel room was very reasonable and didn't expect too much. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi. The facilities and cleaners of the property was very impressive. Staff at check in were very friendly helped me by arranging a taxi to the port for my Phi Phi Island speedboat. The room facilities are modern. And the room itself is very spacious. Situated on the 9th floor even had a view of old town. I have travelled alot and stayed at alot of various places. But was very impressed overall during my limited time at this property. Ensure you come on a Sunday for the night market a short stroll from the hotel.

Amazing staff and awesome public facilities ”
We were treated to most wonderful stay by the staff at the Royal Phuket City Hotel. The assistance by front of house staff was excellent, Poppy and Nice helped us organise so many day trips and even helped to get us some discounts, all with a beautiful Thai smile and absolutely genuine wish to help. The restaurant staff were amazing especially at the girls at “Good Eatz” who were an absolute delight and very professional in their jobs. The head chef almost everyday was out in the restaurant asking us how were were and how the service was going, also regularly we were passed by other managers who always asked how we were and how our stay was going. The door staff were brilliant as well, it is obvious that management leads by example and the result is staff of the highest calibre, oh and the housekeeping staff did a wonderful job everyday. Would I stay there again, Yes in a heart beat, whilst the lobby and bar are magnificent it is the staff and their genuine delivery of service that is amazing. Poppy in reception was a standout in a team of the best hotel staff I have encountered.

My second time to stay at this hotel. The room has been refurbished - nice, clean and very friendly staff especially housekeepers. I drank lots of water per day and they made sure to give extra 2 bottles every time I ask! There are lots of facilities in the hotel - pool, restaurant, cafe and gym. Gym is a plus for me as I am a gym fanatic. Great location 5 mins walk to Phuket old town, walking Street market on Sunday and the bus station to the airport.

I moved from other hotel in Patong which is sandbox to come to stay in Phuket old town. This hotel is good location. It’s convenient for visit shrine of the vegetarian festival. Room nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. One of the thing I like the restaurant indoor and outdoor Good Eatz 154. My meal is tasty. I will return again for next visit

Great hotel.near the old town and number 1 bus station.great varied breakfast and a great vibe just to sit in the spacious comfortable lobby and listen to the smooth jazz.I originally booked 1 night but stayed 3 in the end.can highly recommend this hotel

This hotel is very clean, very fancy looking. The pool and gym were great! It isn’t well connected to public transit however, which made navigating Phuket difficult. Boonrat dim sum outside of the hotel is super delicious

This beautiful hotel is outstanding for the price! We stayed there twice as the rooms, the lobby and restaurant were beautiful. The staff, especially the young woman at the lobby bar, was exceptionally nice. Hotel has a taxi service that took us to some locations at THB200. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is ideally located in old town Phuket. The Sunday market is half a kilometer away. The hotel staff are extremely helpful & supportive. The GYM is well equipped, with a small outdoor swimming pool & a couple of other facilities which we did not use. For local transport around town a Tuk-Tuk is always at hand, also quite a few taxi-drivers also sit right outside hotel who can be hired on the spot. A 7-Eleven & a Pharmacy is at a 2 minute walk towards the right once you come out of hotel. The in-house bakery has quite a few delectable options & serves a good many options for breakfast each morning. Vegetarian food options are very restricted & should be expanded by the Hotel, everything has meat or sea-food so was a bit of challenge for us. But Food joints both local & all other cuisines are well located close to the hotel which helped overcome this one drawback. Overall still a great place at a optimum price.

I like this hotel. Good swimming pool & big gym room. The room is spacious. Massage is good at 3rd floor. Restaurant/bakery/café at G/F also very good. The pomelo&shrimp salad, fried rice in pineapple are so yummy. Will stay here again.
