El lugar esta muy bien ubicado, bien atendido y limpio. Estuve en dos habitaciones compartidas diferentes, la primera pequeña pero suficiente y cama con cortinas, la segunda que era para mas personas era mas grande pero las camas no tienen privacidad, igualmente la experiencia en general fue muy buena tanto por el hotel como por el restaurante.

Buen barrio desde donde visitar Tokio”
La ubicación está muy bien, a 5 minutos de la estación de Ikebukuro desde donde se puede visitar todo Tokio con la línea Yamanote. El barrio es bastante tranquilo y si quieres algo más animado sólo tienes que cruzar al otro lado de la estación, donde está toda la parte comercial de Ikebukuro. El ambiente juvenil de países de todo el mundo es ideal para conocer gente aunque puede resultar algo ruidoso por las noches (tampoco demasiado). El precio está bien dada la situación y los servicios. Si algún día vuelvo a Tokio seguro que volvemos al Sakura.

Best hostel I ever stayed at !”
I never stayed at such a clean, friendly place before. Amazing!!! It's the little things and attention to detail that make the difference. Being able to cook my own food was great. Fully-equipped kitchen. Big refrigerator. They provide the notes and tape to label your food. The signs around the hostel are written in perfect and clear English. Cleaning staff keep the place absolutely spotless. Everything well-maintained, like a/c units, elevator. So professional. Everyone should stay here if they come to Tokyo. I was here in a time with very few guests due to COVID. I do not know what it's like if they are busy.

I have never stayed at a place that is so clean and the staff are so super friendly. Wow! And I've stayed at a lot of different hostels. The kitchen is great and the facilities are immaculate. The staff has been super helpful and have gone out of their way to help me with various problems, including helping me change my plane ticket. Every member of the staff has been great. I just love this place. Everything about it is great. The location is great too. ust 5 mionutes from the nearest entrance to Ikebukuro Station and 1 minute walk to several supermarkets.

We had good time there. The room is suitable for us. The breakfast also good. We had good slept after long journey. The cleanliness and the Staff is amazing. The wifi is fast. But we find a bit difficult go to the station ( maybe its the first time for us to Japan).

Great Location in the Heart of Ikebukuro”
What we liked the most: - It’s just a 5 minute walk from the C6 exit of Ikebukuro Station (a major station where the Narita Express stops) - Ikebukuro is a great place to explore especially if you’re into shopping, anime and video games - There is a 7-Eleven just a minute away in case you need something - The staff speak fluent English. We had no trouble asking questions - Room was clean, no off smell, clean towels we provided, hot shower, fridge and heater worked. The room also had a tv for the local weather and news :) We couldn’t think of anything bad to put here. Because we just need a place to sleep, bathe and put our things in, this hotel does the job excellently. They even have tours sometimes, if you have a free day in your itinerary :) The cafe downstairs serves food from around the world, but can be a little expensive, so if you’re interested be prepared to splurge a little :)

The staff speak good English, and are very helpful. I was in a single room and was totally satisfied with the service. The bathroom maybe a little small for tall people (higher than 1m6) but it will not be a big problem. Breakfast was of Western type with the exception of their distinct egg soup. The hotel is super close to the station that enables you to go everywhere you want, and if you just want to hang around in the neighborhood, Ikebukuro is full of exciting things for you to explore. Totally will come back to Sakura hotel again!

Everyone was professional and very accommodating, considering we had 7 rooms, we had a number of requests because we had children with us, they were able to grant our requests! You should try their restaurant, the food is great and the staff were awesome with their service. It's conveniently located near the train station and a 711. Would definitely recommend and return to this hotel!

I simply want to recommend staying here as ut has the perfect location when u want to explore Tokyo! It's on the west side of Ikebukuro and quiet alley! The staff are all Superb especially Kazu! We had an issue with the noisy aircon and he suddenly fixed and transferred us in another room.All concerns or queries were dealt accordingly with high respect. The restaurant downstairs are of high quality as u will notice that it's always jampacked in the evening The cleanliness and facilities are really of high standard for a Japanese Hotel (small but comfortable). Lots of choices of restaurant around as it is the 3rd biggest center in Tokyo! I will surely be getting this hotel when I come back in Japan!

Great hotel at Ikebukuro”
Unless ure picking the hostels, the rooms here are a little small for certain tourist but for the price, you know deep down you arent expecting much. Its got good toiletries, everything is clean and the staff here are great. I would say all of them are able to converse in simple english. Location is pretty good. Theres a 7 eleven, pharmacy, Family Mart nearby. About 8-10mins walk from Ikebukuro station. Its quite muslim friendly too since the staff are able to show you where to get some halal food. Overall, a value for money hotel just keep your expectations low and let the service surprise you.

Stayed in the hotel with my parents, and we took the superior double room with extra bed. The room size was okay for us, but may not be spacious enough for those with lots of big luggage. We borrowed a hairdryer from the front desk and we were allowed to use the shared kitchen. It would be even better if a kettle could be provided for each room. The hotel was within walking distance to the Ikebukuro station, which is one of the main subway stations in Tokyo. There were many restaurants and convenient stores nearby so looking for food was not a problem for us. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a 4G phone in the room which was handy as we travelled around Tokyo. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we would choose to stay here if we were to travel to Tokyo again.

a bit of a walk from the station but the location is excellent. It's near a 7-eleven and a drug store. It's a nice base if you want to save on expensive accommodations in shinjuku or shibuya.
