First time staying here just for a day 😃 Everything is good trust me you’ll love it here. Just something I had to deal with is some insect situation which I know sometimes is inevitable but yeah I was taking a bath when a cockroach just happily flew above me 😆

Taj was a good budget choice for staying in the city. The hotel might seem dim and gloomy but I was able to find happiness here because its location, price and privacy were just what I was looking for.

Location is perfect for malling, strolling around Tuguegarao City. I got the room with discount so for me it’s budget wise, the room is just perfect for my family of 5, (me, my husband, 2teenagers and 1 toddler) it has 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. The staff are accommodating, hotel breakfast is surprisingly delicious staff’s delivered them to our room in time, i just hope it hot water for the coffee comes in a thermal flask so water stays hot :) hotel ammenities such as television, refrigerator, aircon, water heater at the bathroom they’re all fine, internet is good but we use our own portable internet for more stability. Hotel beddings are ok, but it would be best if they have more thicker blanket. The room door, room cabinet is also needs some oil maintenance coz it’s too noisy when you open or close them 😅 Cleanliness of the hotel is just fine, the parking lot needs more light coz it’s dark and driver need to be very careful coz of the small limited space at the basement of the hotel, but all in all I am satisfied and thankful with our 2nights stay at Taj Hotel, and will again consider Taj Hotel if ever we need a place to stay in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan… Thank you and God bless 🥰😇🙏

My wife's first trip there, they charged her full price and refused to accept the agoda rate until I emailed them. The second stay I got her a larger room. Her breakfast was not served to her room until 10 am after and only then after multiple complaints. When she got the food it was ice cold. I decided to give one more try and book 1 more night so she not have to take our daughts to another hotel. I was tired and booked the wrong room and realized It a short while later. So I booked and purchased her the same room she was in again. She went and spoke to the staff immediately to let them know that what had happened as there was no option to upgrade my room in my booking and the hotel does not accept online cancelations. The staff did not care and charged me for the other room. They did get her breakfast on time that morning but the rice was again cold. This seems to be a nice and clean hotel though the staff hospitality leaves a lot to be desired. It's sad that I have to apologize to her for a less than good experience on our anniversary and holiday getaway because I made a poor choice in lodging.

The staff here was the highlight of the hotel. I arrived very late and since it's a holiday, there weren't any hotel staff to help me bring my stuff up. But the receptionist at that time was very accommodating and helpful. I forgot the name of the person who helped me bring my stuff down but he was superb. I just wished that they allowed motorcycles in their covered parking. Because I had to park my bike on the other side of the street and it was raining.

The basics are there, the bed with aircon, shower with heater. The breakfast is always good for two people. And the staffs are great. I even ask for a table for my online meeting and they gave e one.

Though because of the pandemic realities of having few staff report for work and so some delays in housekeeping was expected , staff were more than helpful to assist.
