You better know ”

Ukl's single ensuite rooms were really good, clean and with everything you need. The only downer is it's about 3 km from the Laoag town, so be sure you have access to a means of transport before you get to the hotel- use jeepneys or other forms. The breakfast meals were really good and tasty. I think the only downer was the staff who were a bit aloof and not really keen on travelers. That aside, it's a comfortable place to stay and relax.

- There was water leaks on the hallways which made the floors very slippery and a tripping hazard. - I booked well in advance but our original rooms were still far from each other. Considering we have teenage girls with us, it was hard to monitor them. - We were transferred to another room but the aircon was leaking and water was all over the place. - The hotel maintenance needs to do a lot more to make the place better,

Needs budget for trasportation its too far from laoag city. And most tricycle drivers will overprice..

Budget friendly”

If you are planning to stay for a few days in Laoag, this is a good place to check especially if you have a limited budget. They have a pool that you can relax after a day's tour. Good wifi connection even inside the rooms. good aircon. Only downside is that the room that we stayed in did not have a working heater and their shower head has weak pressure that if you rely on it, it would take you an hour or more to wash off the shampoo on your hair. We ended up using the pail and tabo with cold water from the faucet. their pool hours could be extended to at least 11pm not 9pm for guests to enjoy more and also add some more light in the pool area at night. the slide was not working because there was no running water or you'd end up with a scratche and aching back if you try. they have a cabinet but the hanging tube was too high you have to use a chair to hang clothes. please add more pillows and blankets. and also change towels without being asked for especially for guests staying more than a day. bathroom too small but it's okay. we rented out 3 rooms as we were 9 in all. good and accommodating kitchen staff. good and affordable food, free breakfast included. will still come back to stay.

Very Poor services ”

The only pros is the location and the pool but the rest are just piece poor or facility and services. We ordered our dinner from the hotel and it takes almost 2 hours for them to serve the food. A lot of follow ups until we offered that we will help them serve the food. We were just wondering on what takes them so long because the food the were served are cold! And the taste are poor. Really not worth to wait for almost 2 hours. Napakapanget ng services ninyo! Not even worth to pay the price for the waiting time and taste. The hot shower is not good at all! Malakas pa ihi ng aso! Breakfast is served with cold food again! Do not go yo this resort/hotel.

My husband said “are u sure this is the one,, call the hotel, it’s not the same on the picture”. Total chaos esp with in-laws, 2 pools but not available for guests. Non uniform staff, public pool is a nuisance, 1 meal of choice for 5 choices, small serving can hardly fill in a small child. Staff kept on asking the order over & over for 1 meal,old fashioned key bigger than the bar soap. Small very filthy bathroom with dipper & bucket huh! Long distance drive is not worth it since places to see is far from this place. There’s a mall but you will be trapped in traffic, funny thing a guest is not allowed to use the chalet to eat out even it’s empty, they will lay a table and chair for you, who cares if you are a guest, day swimmers are important. We rely in reviews, ratings but i guess it applies only for backpackers. We paid for two days but you have to ask for toileties towel replaced the next day . If we have not paid for 3 rooms for sure we will change for better one.

Breakfast was too late 7am. We had a swim competition with a 6am call time. But the 2nd day they allowed us to claim our breakfast in the evening wich worked as well
