La estancia en el hotel fue muy gratificante porque tiene un entorno (unos jardines) muy bonito y relajante. La habitacion tambien estaba muy bien. Lo que no nos gusto nada fue el restaurante. El servicio es muy lento (incluso para las bebidas, donde no tienen que preparar nada) y el precio resulta algo caro para el servicio que ofrecen e incluso comparandolo con los restaurantes de alrededor. El otro tema que no nos gusto mucho es que apenas habia posibilidades de ponerse a la sombra junto a las piscinas (y es que da el sol todo el dia). Aun asi, en lineas generales, estamos satisfechos de nuestra estancia en el hotel.

Best Hotel on Koh Chang with Unique Features! ”

We've stayed at the AANA both pre-covid and during covid, and on both occasions it's been a wonderful experience. The hotel is unique because it has a nice private beach, which is accessible by a very short and beautiful boat ride or you can walk a few minutes from the hotel. Even during high season before covid the private beach was populated only by guests and made for a very nice and enjoyable experience compared to White Sand Beach. The beds are the most comfortable of any we've stayed at in Thailand, and, if you've traveled to Thailand a lot, you know how hard it is to find comfortable beds. Also, the rooms come with AANA's homemade soap, which is really nice. The hotel is situated on an inlet and has a beautiful new restaurant and bar on the water, which is nice in both the mornings and evenings for sunset. The buffet breakfast (still served in covid when there are many guests but probably only on holiday weekends) is quite good and the hotel recently changed their entire menu to reflect unique Trat-style dishes rather than the typical run of the mill resort menus with pizza, fries, and pad thais. The new menu is excellent and many things are unique even to people who live in Thailand. Overall, it's a beautiful hotel with nice amenities and a stunning blue inlet and jungle vibe. Villas have plunge pools but even the normal room is very nice and the pool area is beautiful. I'd highly recommend staying at the AANA.

I cannot understand why this resort has any bad reviews, we arrived originally only for a few days and stayed in a deluxe room. We loved it so much, and the location and setting so perfect, we ended up moving to a lovely villa and staying for the duration of our trip - and as a traveler who does not usually stay in resorts, it's a big compliment. The resort is on a calm sea inlet, meaning you can kayak up to the beach or take the shuttle boat - it's utterly beautiful, it has a jungle feel with a great top pool for adults and another for children and dive training. In addition, as you are halfway along the west side, it's ideal for exploring either side of the island. A great breakfast and staff who cannot do enough for you, also a fantastic tour operator on site with access to unique trips via speedboat - highly recommend. There are small things that need a little tlc, but this is Thailand not the West - I'd go back in a heartbeat.

1st time to stayed here, I came alone. Hotel is very good, staff more helping and good take care, room is cleanness, pool is nice view, variety of food for breakfast but no have cocoa milk, Minibar only 2 water. I have conference meeting in the morning in checked-out day but air-condition not working, hotel offer me to change room. So Excellence, I will come againnn!!!

We can not confirm the negative reviews. The resort was very quiet. We would come back anytime! And book again here. The balance between the hotel and the interaction of nature was wonderful. Our deluxe room was very clean and well maintained. The staff always courteous and helpful!

Charming spot in the middle of nature”

You really can't go wrong by booking this place. Surrounding by lush greens, a ferry boat that takes you through the wildlife and houses on the water, and a private beach surrounded by gorgeous mountain views... we were in love with this spot! Also, very few people on the beach which was nice. Bonus: they put organic lemongrass soaps in your room which lingers throughout the day and free shuttles to take you to the beaches. Do yourself a favor and book here :)

I was traveling alone and it was super comfy and peaceful. I have no car but still can use the transfer boat from the resort to the private beach and a little walk to find food at Klong Prao beach. The building theme so beautiful, i’ve got lots of pics. At night there was a free tour to see firefly. The pool so nice. The room was great and the breakfast choice is good and delicious.

Really wonderful. Lovely and spacious rooms, two pools, including an infinity pool that was practically empty, lovely location with great views. Excellent breakfast. The beach was great. The staff was amazing, and they offer a lot of helpful extras for free, like shuttle bus to the other beaches, or kayaks to go up and down the river and to the beach. I'd highly recommend it, and would definitely like to come back. Very relaxing and quiet.

Just perfect”

Lovely resort ! A short complimentary boat ride to the most picturesque beach added to the romance of Aana resort. Breakfast was yummy and varied. The restaurant food delicious too. The room was nice with a lovely balcony to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. We left feeling chilled and spoilt !

From internet to resort perfect”

This was a fabulous stay our 7 year old daughter loved , breakfast was the best. The resort position on the island was quiet, secluded and full of relaxing things to do. The only criticism is like many Thai buildings there is a lack of ongoing maintenance to keep this resort up to a good standard as the years pass this may deteriorate the resort badly.

Paradise on Earth”

Aana Resort & Spa is the perfect choice for those looking for tranquility and exquisite design in the middle of nature. The architecture is extremely tasteful and the facilities are top of the line. You can enjoy a beautiful day at the private beach (accessible by ferry from the restaurant), a refreshing afternoon by the swimming pools and finish up with a delicious meal by the river, as the sun sets in the horizon. Adorable and friendly cats are a bonus for the animal lovers. Staff is very well trained, spreading smiles all around at all times. One downside is that the property is quite isolated, so don't expect to encounter any type of nightlife. Other than that, it's truly paradise on earth!

Such a beautiful space, two swimming pools and you can get a boat to the beach. Breakfast was good. You will need a car to get around but there are a few nice restaurants around which is good. Great stay.

Lovely place”

It's a lovely space with lush gardens and 2 beautiful pools. They have a boat and are able to take you (whenever asked) to the beach or upriver to see the mangroves and (at night) fireflies. You could also borrow kayaks and it was only a short paddle to the mangroves or the sea. All the staff were exceptionally helpful. The rooms are comfortable with really big balconies that are relaxing to spend time on. 2 issues - The wifi was spotty in our room and would be OK one minute and then be so slow as to be impossible to use. The restaurant area is wonderfully situated but would play absolutely terrible music. Sappy American teen pop in the evenings mainly. I found it painful to listen to. If the management read this; you should find a copy of 'Kind of Blue' by Miles Davis and build a playlist from that album. That would go much better with the elegant surroundings and is the kind of music that nobody dislikes.
