Si puedes escoger otro Hostel hazlo y ahórrate el estar en un sitio incómodo, sucio, apretado y sin Wi-Fi y con un dueño con un humor bastante malo.

Basic accommodations for very reasonable cost. ”

We arrived at around 6pm and the receptionist was about to go out, so he gave us a very quick check-in without taking us to the room, nor telling us how to access the internet (though it's fine because the wifi has no password). The place looked messy, and the kitchen (where guests also socialise as there is no living room besides a small TV room) was small. People stayed on the balcony talking loudly late into the night. On the bright side, the location is right in town centre. You can't ask much from a cheap backpackers, but clearly I have stayed in better ones in New Zealand.

Cheap place to stay if you have an early bus to catch, but the wifi didn't work in my room, the kitchen was dirty, the lighting was super dark and the street noise seeps in through the walls at night.

OK for the night”
I stayed the one night and happened to be a Saturday which was extremely loud. I did not realise it was so close to a night club so music was playing loud till early hours. The place was very gruby but the guy checking me in was kind enough to move me into a different room with just 1 other lady which was much better. It was OK for the 1 night but I would not stay longer.

I stayed here as the price was really low. The 1st night I arrived a guy had too much to drink and it turned out, was in my room. I ended up talking to another guy in the room and after I said Im gonna ask to change rooms, he told me how he had already spoken to the owner and asked her for the same thing, said she was rude and angry at him for calling her, she said to him that hes only paind 17$ so what does he expect. I mentioned that I might get my money back but the owner already told this guy that he couldnt do that either. I think this idea of a low cost room means you get what you get, is really bad. It does not matter how much you pay for a room, feeling comfortable is a basic for what ever price is paid. I was then moved after the guy called again. The owner apologized for the drunk guy but she should have dealt with it pronto. All the other staff were lovley. No atmosphere. Will never stay here again

INFESTATION OF BED BUGS AND FILTH”
This hostel is filthy and overcrowded and the more bodies they can get in, the better for their profit. I was eaten alive by bedbugs that were so large, that they were all over the sheets in the morning when I got up due to me grabbing them and smashing them with my fingers. I brought a pillow down to the lady manager, and she never apologized, but kept stating that they spray every Friday. She fully refunded the night stay. Be warned about this place, and there are too many backpacker places in Nelson to sleep at this filthy and overcrowded one. I have had better stays in third world countries who the quality was better than this place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND and BE WARNED!

Location is so good but that’s it I think and chep price. Bunk bed was shaking and ladder was broken. Some shower room was broken and lounge was so small. The reception was nice and kind.

Le gérant était très gentil mais le ménage devait être difficile à gérer vu la vétusté de la baraque. C est plutôt un coloc avec 1 seule douche en service, avec de la crasse marron orange en bas, pour 15 persones . Bien pour le prix et la location mais tu peux trouver mieux en hiver.

すごく安かったから汚いだろうと思っていたけれど、凄く清潔感あって、本当にこの値段でいいのかとびっくりしました。 キッチンも整理整頓されているし、朝食無料もそこそこ充実していてとてもいいです。 シャワーとトイレは共同なので我慢ですが、すぐ慣れました。シャワーはちょっと汚いです。ベットはギシギシ揺れます。立地は完璧！ またNelson通る場合は絶対にここを選ぶというぐらいめちゃめちゃ良かったです。(今まで泊まってきたところと比べてですが)
