Breakfast fit for a king and afternoon tea for queens! ”

My husband and I had a very comfortable and perfect stay at Alagon Hotel and Spa. We stayed in the King Suite, the room was very spacious and bed was comfortable. I never once missed my bed at home! The staff are nice and willing to help with any bags luggage from shopping trips to deliveries. The most standout feature of this hotel is the food. I am an Australian born Vietnamese so I am very picky on what hotels claim as to be authentic Vietnamese food. Let me tell you, this hotel has good food. Many times we opted to eat in the hotel because it was better than any restaurant/food stall you can find outside. The chef there has cooked for the Australian ex-Prime Minister John Howard and chef is friendly and chatty every morning. One time during afternoon tea he pulled out an elaborate cooking station and invited a guest chef from Hanoi to do a free demonstration. It was interactive as we got to come up and he will teach you step by step how to make spring rolls. Recommended A++

My family and i love the Hotel. Will definitely go back again. Perfect Location. Prime location in the city- very close to the Benh Thanh market, restaurants, coffee shops.Thank to all the helpful staffs. Lovely roof top bar with amazing food. The room was big & bed is very clean and comfortable. The toilet is very clean and most importantly the water heater is perfect. The breakfast spread has lots of variety and the afternoon tea is awesome too. Thank you for the stay. All in all I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travellers.

Clean room and great service”

Room was cleaned thoroughly every morning. The staff was super nice. There is a flight of stairs in front of the hotel but they never fail to help me with my stuff. The team smiles at me every time i made eye contact. The hotel made an positive impact on me and it is truly a joy to stay here.

Can’t fault this hotel. GREAT value for money. My room was very clean, checking and checkout both efficient, breakfast was amazing, central location, what more can you ask? Only con: walls are thin, but that happens in many hotels! Highly recommend it. Stayed there in Nov 2019.

Pros : Great location near to tourist spots, eating places, market etc. all by walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon tea was good as well. Cons : - Overall was good and enjoy the stayed. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

I had decided a 9-day stay at this hotel. The hotel is very well equipped and offers an excellent breakfast! The service is very friendly, helpful and courteous. The location is not ideal but very good. The hotel is located in District 1 and almost everything can be reached on foot from there. And you should keep in mind that motorbikes and taxis only cost cents! I noticed two small defects in house keeping: - When a part fell off my bed and I try to pick it up, I had to shine under the bed and found, that there was candy wrapper and a lot of dust underneath. It was probably not cleaned there for a few weeks. - The pillow case was not changed for the first 5 days (in contrast to the other bed linen). I noticed that the 5 days were always the same stain at the same point. These two points didn't bother me very much and I can recommend the hotel also for a long stay. I would go back again. THANK YOU!

Great Value for money”

Receptionists went out of their way to help us on every occasion. So special thanks to Mike and Tammy and the other people working on the front desk. Room was very clean, everything worked, location is great and the breakfast had plenty of variety. Will certainly stay again next time we are in town.

Great first night in Vietnam!”

I stayed here with my mum recently on our first night in Vietnam. The staff were beautiful and helpful (Dat was lovely!). We were upgraded to a delux room, which was more than big enough for the two of us. Cocktails at the rooftop pool were delicious and there was a huge breakfast selection! Prime location in the city- very close to the Benh Thanh markets. All in all I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to fellow travellers.

Great hotel located in District 1”

The hotel location was great. You can get a Grab car to travel to all the tourist attraction near by. There is a small local restaurant opposite which served great food. I traveled with a 4 yo. The room was sufficient to fit two adult and a young kid. My kid loved the Jacuzzi. Going back and forth between the cold and warm pool. Breakfast was fine too. If there is a more local food, it would be great. Will I return? Yes, I will.

I found this hotel through a friend with many thumps up, my wife and me stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks. Totally enjoyed its facilities, breakfast is very good and their menus change every day Their staffs are very professional and friendly particularly Zamath, Taylor and Quan are extremely helpful. We'll come back here next time for sure.
