A remote place still under construction”

This is our observation of what was really happening at An Yen in Dec 2018. Upon arrival, we were in shock because the place looked nothing like a resort. It looked more like a construction site. There were construction trucks, rocks, dust, and banging noises. Landsacpe was very minimal. There is no beach that family and children can enjoy (like the pictures about the resort), instead there are rocks and rocks. We suggest that you call the resort before booking and check if there are construction work onsite and nearby. Otherwise you wont be able to enjoy your stay. The staff are nice and helpful, but that doesnt make up for the lack of amenities, facilities and ambience. The road to the resort is not a sealed road, it is very bumpy. it is so remote that it usually takes more than 30’ to wait for a taxi to arrive after booking. The resort needs a lot more work to be considered a proper resort and be ready to welcome guests. On the upside, the room is nice and eco friendl

A True Get-A-Way”

There is so much to like about An Yen, but best to come with the right expectations. If you crave remote & quiet and you’re ok with a bumpy dusty road to and from the site, then this may be the perfect spot. I loved it. A few good books, several tasty meals and a very welcoming family made An Yen a great get-a-way, just what I was looking for. An Yen is not a ‘resort’ in a typical sense of the word. The property is remote and in many ways a work-in-progress. My bungalow was near the water with a comfy bed (Vietnamese style) and a modern shower. Two deck chairs were perfect for reading. There is wifi on property but its reach is limited to the dining area adjacent to the main building. The meals were tasty and cooked to order from a smart but limited menu. The family goes out of there way to connect you with nearby things to do. An Yen is adjacent to Sao beach which is popular with day visitors. Motorbikes are available to rent but you should be comfortable riding on bumpy roads. Friends had warned that Phu Quoc was now given to crowds, loud bars, clubs and big splashy resorts. An Yen was the opposite. It offers offers peace & quiet and the feeling you are part of the family’s dream of building their eco-resort vision, one guest at time.

an ideal place to rest far from the crowd. Silence, beauty, smiles and kindness just for you. Good food to your liking. Reasonable comfort. The hostess will do everything possible to give you satisfaction.

Muy bueno”

Fantastiskt ställe med underbar personal. Stora luftiga och fräscha bungalows. Nackdelen är att moppe behövs för att komma till stranden ( ca 15 min) och vägen till asfaltsvägen är väldigt svår terräng att köra på. Absolut rekommenderar vi detta ställe och njut av tystnaden.

Ab vom Schuss ... aber schön”

Sehr ruhige Lage. Wer es sehr ruhig mag wird hier eine schöne Zeit haben. In der Nähe ist nichts. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr schön! Nur: Das Frühstück und Essen ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt Instant Pho mit Aufkochnudeln und TK Bürger (etwa 7 Euro) zu europäischen Preisen. Das Essen ist viel zu teuer und leider qualitativ nicht zu empfehlen. Man kann hier Roller mieten, jedoch zu westlichen Preisen. Im Zentrum kostet ein Roller die Hälfte. Zu empfehlen wer es extrem ruhig mag. Jedoch ist das Essen für die Qualität sehr teuer. Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht.

Schöne Unterkunft ”

ca. 20Km von Duong Dong. Sehr ruhige Lage. Die Anlage ist noch im Aufbau. Man sollte sich gleich einen Roller mieten, das durch das Personal problemlos gebucht werden kann. In der Nähe ist der Sao Beach ca. 3km entfernt. Personal und Service waren sehr Freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Super Bungalow, nette Vermieter”

Wir waren zu 2. mit Rucksack dort. Derzeit gibt es 2 Bungalows, die einfach, aber mit Liebe eingerichtet sind. Der Bungalow war sehr sauber und es sind 30m bis zum Privatstrand, wo wir ganz alleine waren. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und kümmern sich gut um ihre Gäste. Vor Ort kann man auch einen Roller ausleihen und so die Insel erkunden. Das angebotene Frühstück war sehr lecker und auch das Abendbrot war sehr zu empfehlen. Alles in allem super Anlage!

Mức giá quá đắt so với các phòng nghỉ trong khu vực. Tuy nhiên có thể do cơ sở vật chất chưa hoàn thiện. Mình có cảm giác bị lừa bởi Agoda. Nhà nghỉ đang xây dựng với máy xúc nhân công. Dù đã chuyển tiền 2 phòng, 2 đêm cho Agoda nhưng mình đành phải chịu mất tiền bỏ đi thuê chỗ khác ở.
