La limpieza no era su punto fuerte”
Es un sitio bastante desolador en temporada baja, no hay restaurantes alrededor y las opciones de buceo son muy caras.
Very poor customer service”
Extremely difficult to get any service at all.
Place was hard to find. Doesn't answer calls/ text, and FBmessages. Very bad customer service. ”
Place was hard to find. Doesn't answer calls/ text, and FBmessages. Very bad customer service. Did not sleep over anymore and went home the same day.
DIRTY, STINKY, UNHYGIENIC TOILET AND BED... WATCHOUT!!!”
I read the review before checking in... but we are desperate for accommodation, so I check in to this hotel.. The lady manager are hopeless sitting in her butt not even checking the rooms if they are properly cleaned.. As we entered the room, I checked the bed sheet and it was sandy and something else there.. I requested for a change of bed sheet... the toilet was full of hair and it has some leak that smell like human waste... the room are horrible.. its like dungeon... Watch out... don't waste your time... and you have to believe the reviews of this place...
Cheap diving course”
If you are looking to start your certification this is the place to go for budget cost.
Excellent Scuba Diving Restort”
ASDC is very rustic and homely and an awesome place to get your Padi Open Water training. The staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful and we immediately felt at home. My wife and her son did their open water training there and they both enjoyed it in spite of their frayed nerves. The dive instructor was excellent and very comforting.
Hidden Gem”
Very simply dive center. Loved staying here. If you're okay with simple, clean and friendly and just want to chill and dive, I recommend this place. They were very accommodating and helpful.
Their customer service is unacceptable.”
Kind of me to give this place a 1 star. Rating should be 0/5 stars. They only have a nice living room. That is it. The rooms are so so okay for a budget traveler. Customer service is way so below expectations and unacceptable. Just because my friend and I are not divers and foreign, we were somewhat treated like shit. The previous day, the owner said that our complimentary breakfast is egg and bread. Then when we were having breakfast the next day, it’s only bread. Eggs cost an additional Php20. One more thing that pissed me off was their rug looking bath towel. I asked them to changed it. It was so like my debt of honor that they changed it. I didn’t even have a good night sleep there. The bed sheet is weird. It’s like partly plastic. For me and friend, it’s okay to accept to live in that creepy place for a night. But the customer service really sucks. I won’t recommend this place to anyone.
for a budget room the price is still far too high”
The people are nice and friendly. Unfortunately the rooms were quite bad - the bed was only a simple sponge - quite hard. The toilet was missing the seat and cover. The shower had only small waterflow. But the biggest problem was the aircondition - it was very loud and there was also no fan available. We paid three nights - but checked out after the first night because it was not possible to get proper sleep there.
really enjoyed 😁”
Friendly staff, affordable, relaxing and good food. But poor facilities..
low cost diving at Anilao”
There is no Wi-Fi ; 5 min. walk to Beach club which has wi; but food cost is higher. There was no furniture in my room but new floor and new doors amd A/C The dive master, Carl, is very, very good at finding sm. critters (such as bobbit worm, ghost pipe fish, nudibranchs, etc.; after 28 yrs . of diving, i found DM Carl to be only DM who memorizes genus and species of sm.critters,
good for diving”
Valuable for money (like a backpacker hotel) Also good and friendly diving team, that's not the same everywhere in Philippines I recommend this hotel and diver team if you want to dive in Anilao
Would have been happy if I paid $5 a night”
This was the most expensive place we stayed at during our 6 weeks in the Philippines and it was the second to worst experience we had (worst was about 5 USD a night, so what can you expect). Diving was expensive and owner was rude. We were glad that we brought our own diving gear, because others who rented equipment were not even given a depth gauge! BCD's leaking, second stages leaking.... very unsafe. They didn't offer computer rentals, and even though the dive guides were wearing 5ml full wetsuits, they only rented 3ml shorties for my size, and my partners wetsuit had holes. The door the the bathroom was broken, we were supposed to have hot water, but the claimed it "just broke yesterday" and were not going to give me a discount until I said I was leaving and getting a refund. Sheets were stained and the bathroom smelled like sewage. Wifi only worked near the owners office where you had to sit outside the door on the sidewalk to use. We had the nicer rooms that had AC and was supposed to have hot water, so I can't imagine what the budge rooms look like. I would suggest if you are going to consider this place, you go there first and check it out yourself and not book online. We paid over $30 a night, and it should have costed no more than $10 to deal with the smells and broken amenities. Definitely do not dive here if you do not have your own equipment. Even if you do, they are very unorganized and we didn't even get a say in where we were going, or how many dives the boat was out for until we got there. Tanks were under filled and they did not bring extras.
It's for divers on a budget or friends on very limited budget. NOT for romantic getaway.”
A/C was close to non-existent and linens were the cheapest you could possibly find apart from newspaper. Bathroom was just a long stretch of yuck. Beachfront was the same. Staff basically just stared at you if you had any question. If we had a question as simple a toilet paper, it was better to ask the owner/divemaster. It's not that they were rude...they just weren't receptive. Food was a challenge since there were no nearby restaurants or food stores. I have no idea how they prepare meals for guests or coordinate meal arrangements (something like advance notice for hotdog or ham) but the owner took pity on us and fed us food from the large Korean dive group who was staying at the resort. The real beauty came from fhe competent divemasters and the boat dives. However, the dive rates were a little pricey. I can find better accommodations for the same dive rates. To simplify: if you are used to nice accommodations, this is not for you. If you're extremely grateful to just have a roof over your head and call having your own toilet a luxury, you may want to try this resort.
I liked it”
Very very nice staff. So friendly Place is not that easy to find. Very noisy place (loud street dogs and 3 dogs in the resort so prepare to get waken up early, compressor for diving tanks is right next to eating place it was very loud and would have been aaaaalot more peaceful without that noise) My room wasnt that clean. The beach is the dirtiest I have seen in the Philippines, Crazy how much plastic is on the beach and swimming in the water. I got 3 meals per day included in the price. I think it was a fair price.
Comments”
Poor airconditioning.. Cockroaches all over the room, unavailability of water sports activities as advertised in their hotel featurres.. Wifi too slow Not recommendable for a family to stay. We stayed for 1 day instead of 2 days dissppointed with the place itself as a whole.
Super nice staffs”
Great scuba diving experience Nice food and good location Can take bus from Manila bus station to Bagantas city first, then take tricycle or motorcycle to hotel, total around 3 hours if traffic is good.
Great place for snorkeling or scuba takeoff.”
It was quite a surprise they showed us an ugly room at first (full of mosquitoes too) but upon my request to be transferred to a nicer room, they quickly accommodated us to the newer room. The bathroom and toilet needed some maintenance but after a few fixes and cleanups here and there it was okay. We appreciated the owner's (Roy) hospitality and quick granting of all our small requests (arrangement for private boat, snorkeling gear, customized food, additional toiletries) without extra charge. Had to pay for our snorkeling experience though. Value for money in this 1star accommodation.
Pleasant, short stay with great staff”
All was good, we were received at arrival with a smile. Apparently Koreans own the place and try to attract more people. Our rooms were very basic, but clean and nice, with hardly any mold, which is uncommon in the Philippines. The meals were local dishes. No menu. You order food and they make it and tweak it after your request. We got some snorkeling equipment and jumped in the water. Outside the resort, there are some fish and life under the water, but you have to swim several hundred meters to get to some nice coral. Basically it was nice. The drunk Koreans next door let go of the KTV around midnight and then it was nice and quiet. The main thing I can really recommend this place for, is it's staff. The rest is ordinary. Not bad, just ordinary.
Inconvenient”
Very bad. The toilet odor extends to the room. The bedding and the floor is sandy you can sweep through it with collecting a mound. Room is smelly as the toilet plumbing and overall bathroom is not sanitized.
