Highly recommend Antigua Carsona San Blas when in Cusco. The facility is beautifully appointed and the suites roomy and very comfortable. The staff make every point to ensure you are well taken care of and your travelling needs met. The outdoor terrace with warm glowing firepits is the best way to relax with a snack & drink in hand after a day of exploring. The breakfast is delicious and has a wide variety of fresh fruits, daily baked breads, and meal options to suit even the pickiest of eaters. 10/10 would stay again!

A hidden gem in Cusco ”
We stayed two nights and did not rant to leave. The room is clean and is equipped with heating! They also prepare hot water bottles in beds for guests every night. We loved the bonfire in the courtyard. And we were so lucky to catch a live concert on Saturday night in the courtyard. It was just amazing with the fire. Their drinks are also delicious. Breakfast too! We also stayed two nights in the Marriott convent and preferred this boutique hotel.

This place is amazing! Located in what felt like a very safe and unique part of Cusco with a ton of culture, an easy walk to Plaza de Armas and delicious restaurants right outside it’s doorstep. We were blown away by the atmosphere and cleanliness of Antigua Casona as well as the extremely accommodating staff that went over and above to make our stay great. If I come back to Cusco, there’s no question of where I’d stay.

I can’t say enough good things about this stunning hotel! I selected it for its design, amenities, & location, but the service was above & beyond. My friend & I stayed 5 nights with day trips from Cusco to Machu Picchu, the Sacred Valley, etc, but it was lovely having a pampered ‘home base’ with the beautiful design of the hotel, the yoga classes, & the super attentive staff. My initial room was a rather dead spot with no access to WiFi & Internet (room 101), & they allowed me to switch rooms which was a huge improvement in internet access. The food, eating @ the fire pit, the bar, the lovely rooms so well appointed- HIGHLY recommend! Thank you, Antigua Casona San Blas! Wil rec to all of my friends. 👍🏼

This place is beautiful. We loved the bar and the courtyard especially. But I would like to commend the staff who are running the place wonderfully during the pandemic. Everyone was super friendly from the moment we arrived, helpful and attentive without being bothersome. Covid measures are implemented, breakfast was superb, and we were offered coca tea to go each morning which really helped us going out on the tours. And they serve great piscos which we enjoyed by the fire after a long day. If we ever come back to Cusco, we would happily stay here again.

The best hotel in Cusco”
Don't waste your money on big name brands. Antigua Casona easily surpasses them. Other than the gorgeous setting and the great location (a 5 minute walk to the center of town through beautiful cobblestone streets) the staff is incredible. They take the time to know their guests personally and to remember each guest's preferences. They helped us book reliable transportation during our stay, and made sure that we have everything we need. Special thanks to Peter and Angie at the restaurant for being so welcoming, and for everyone at reception who was superbly hospitable and kind. We'll be back for sure.

Antiqua Casona San Blas is a delightful small hotel up a hill from Plaza des Armas. At high altitude this moderately steep walk can be difficult for those not particularly young. The hotel itself is clean and charming. We had a room on the first floor which is actually a basement room. It was cold and damp so be aware of this when booking. The staff gave us a space heater which was a blessing. The heat is on only between 1630 and 0730. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. The restaurant was excellent. We ate all 3 meals a day there. The staff at the restaurant were very attentive especially Williams.

This place is the GEM. The room is big and clean. staff are friendly. Food is amazing. I suffered elevation sickness, they gave me oxygen tank immediately. Saved my life! Will stay here again.

Beautiful inner design and environment ”
Since we arrived late and departed early in the morning, we did not enjoy more here, I did not get a higher floor room with the view of Cuzco city, you should make sure to get one if you spend more than 1 day here, with the weapon square view the best. Really textured and creative inner design with all the fine furnished wooden stuffs, nice restaurant (we had chicken soup and pasta for dinner) and great breakfast (order sun eggs), helpful reception.
