Good location, Nice Staff”
We stayed there for 3 Nights and will recommend if you want a central location considering me being a vegetarian ... !! with all restaurants nearby and metro at a walking distance !
Friendly staff and value for money ”
The room can be slightly cleaner, the staff are friendly
Good Hotel, Good Location”
Aqueen is a few minutes walk to 2 mrt stations which is really convenient when you are travelling with kids. It is next to a lot of restaurants and near the City square mall next to Farrer Park Station. Room is quiet small but this is already expected as per Singapore standard. The room and bathroom is clean which is important. Accommodating staff too!
We booked a new deluxe roon and they gave us a room old and dirty with bad smell!!”
They gave us an different room, we booked a new room in agoda, and when I saw on the staff the pictures and said that is not this room I was 100% sure, they were telling us "No all the rooms the deluxe are same"! I say no! WE WANT THE ROOM THAT WE BOOKED AND THIS IS NOT THE SAME, THIS OLD. They changed us room 3 hours later, and we understood that they give us an old room because they were full booking! All the rooms next to elevator are old, it looks like they build first these rooms and after they build the other rooms on the other side! In the end of all we stay on the new room that we booked, it was clean small and NEW!Just next time they need to be more careful what they say to the costumers and be honest, dont try to lying to them beacause this us really disrespect to think that we are Stupid!
I had a good quick escape ... ”
The staff are nice and assertive. They care for their visitors especially to the housekeeping. The door is not sound proof so i can hear aloud the footsteps and voices of people using the lift and passing by... But all in all i had a good rest which i want to do....
All the 3 staffs which I chanced upon during my 1-night stay was cheerful, friendly and helpful. Sapiah assisted in my check-in which was a breeze Jai gave me directions to the nearest ATM which I thought was another place.. hey but yes he is right The other guy provided me with a banding aid when my nail gave way.. Overall is ok but for those light sleeper or night owl like me, watching tv is definitely not gonna be the choice for its selections are only limited to all local channels and CNA.
New hotel. Nice location. Clean. Good price. Compact. Got parking lot”
Hotel age? Quite new. Abt 2-3 yrs old (2014/2015) Location? Good Connectivity? Abt 15 min (slow walk) to either Lavender MRT Station (EW - EastWest Line) or Bugis MRT Station (DT - DownTown Line). Safe walking route, but bring umbrella for rain/monsoon season. EW Line connects you to Changi Airport (at one end) & Tuas, Jurong (at the other). DT Line connects you to places like Orchard Rd, CBD, etc. Both lines also connects you to interchange stations (like City Hall, Raffles Place) for easier travel to other MRT routes, e.g. to Sentosa, MBS etc Parking? 4 slots available FOC on first come first served basis. Check with hotel beforehand Attractions? Within 10 mins walking to these places: Stadium Jalan Besar (for soccer matches involving Singapore), Arab Street (late night food joints), Malay Heritage Centre, Sultan Mosque Room size? A bit compact, but comfy & clean Amenities? Free towels, Wifi, 2 bottles of water, toiletries etc TV? Limited channels, but can connect via USB
A nice hotel if you are in a budget”
Stayed here last march, and now i am back again, and decided to booked a couple of nights more, as i love my stay here, not to mention how near this is to ferrer mrt station, which makes it very convenient.
Good location near all the good food places and shopping places.”
Excellent choice of location for a hotel. It could have a better designated drop-off point though. Taking a car or hotel you would have to walk past a side alley and vent after dropping off behind the hotel. Food choices and shopping nearby and MRT stations within walking distance are all great plus points.
Great rooms ... like ship cabins, small”
Close to airport train and downtown connections, rooms are newly renovated, very small but everything is there, also a nice bathroom, good wifi connection, quiet aircon and soundproof Windows to the street. Two people in a queen superior room (being 12m2) will be a stretch as bed takes up most of the room. Great price-quality ratio so highly recommended.
Hello, all. I'm not kind of person who leaves a comment or review for what I've experienced as most are under my expectations. But for the first time, I'm writing for recommendation of this amazing hotel to people who consider either staying or not during holidays. Along with perfect location, price, and tidiness of hotel, staff named 'Joanna' made me way comfortable and treated me so well. I lost my pair of shoes and it was so frustrating. When I asked to help me to find it, she was throwing herself fully into her duty. After all, she found my shoes! Without her efforts, my whole plan to traveling in Singapore would be disaster. I bet she is the kindest, smartest, and the most professional staff. I've never expected these kind of service from hotel but Joanna was the best staff that I've met ever! I do highly recommend this hotel and you'll never regret.
Cheap but excellent hotel”
The hotel exceeded my expectations. I thought that it would be just a simple hotel as the price that I paid for it was very cheap. However, the rooms were nice, the bed was comfortable and the toilet had all the toiletries. The tv was great with some nice channels. Overall, the hotel had a great ambience and there was a small 24 hour mini mart as well as an Indian Muslim stall just across the road. I would definitely stay here again!
Good for couples who likes cosy and small rooms. It was very clean and the best part about my stay was the buffet breakfast. We helped ourselves with popular local spread which was amazing ! On top of that , the location is strategic. It's just 3 mins walk to the nearby mall City Square Mall and you can also access MRT(metro/subwa) station - in the basement. There is also Mustafa Mall operates 24 hour and you can get anything and everything you need !!! Will be back for more.... :) Thank you
We stayed 3 nights there. Our first night was very bad, because the receptionist gave us a room near the lift so it's very noisy. We had an one year old baby with us, and she slept not very well that night. Next day we asked them if we can change to the other room and they did give us a room in the 4th floor much more quiet. This hotel is opposite the Cut Curry Rice shop, and it's so convinient to buy food when we woke up or stayed up late. The room is small but eveything is clean and nice. The very annoying thing that I don't like is it's so noisy.
Great location, it is near a 24 hr shopping centre (Mustafa) and another big shopping mall (City Square Mall) which is suitable for families. Clean environment. Right opposite the hotel, there is this famous "scissors curry rice" which is inexpensive and delicious.
There’s no room service. The walls are thin. The restaurant doesn’t separate pork and other meats for kosher / halal / vegetarian diet. Poor management of lobby area. Rude staff. Overall atrocious experience.
Expensive 3 stars hotel”
Can hear shower tab water running from next rooms. The main door is not rally sound proof, can hear people talking or walking outside the room. The room design was odd and with weird smell until we turned on the air cond. Quite pricy for such quality.
Low cost budget hotel”
Toilets don’t flush second time. Room quite tony. Staff good with their service.
Por encima de la media”
room is very small, fit for a single person. Walking space may be too narrow for a bigger size person.
