A Little Bit of Paradise”
Beautifully furnished, contemporary and comfortable with a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. Ecologically aware. Congratulations to the management and staff for making our stay truly unforgettable. You will all be remembered with great fondness.
a small paradisel place, beautifully furnished , great food, and very friendly staff.
Overpriced and shabby but lovely views”
Pros - great view of the sea and nice design idea. Sadly executed really badly and the whole Place desperately needs painting. We paid a fair amount for the suite which has great views but it was dirty, had no curtains so you couldn’t block out light, had no mini bar and the shower flooded into the bathroom making it a death trap due to being polished concrete when you took a shower we ended up putting towels across the floor to absorb the water. The staff are inattentive so frequently left us waiting to get in and out as here’s a locked gate to enter and they need to let you in and out. Very average breakfast given the price point. Be prepared to be stung with 25% additions on all food and drinks bills. There are many much nicer places at a better price point than here but the views are spectacular and the suite is very spacious.
Everything was amazing The staff fantastic Place incredible Will be back Thank you
Nice little clean place. Need more facililities in the room. No fridge, no tea/ Coffee, no amenities”
Shampoo & cream available of a high quality. Big bathroom but showe not jutting out enough.
Beautiful place and a very well designed boutique hotel. Stylish, classy and comfortable. We were very happy with their staff and the Sri Lankan hospitality.
Fantastic Place away from the hot spots”
Fantastic place, beautiful place to stay with a great breakfast. Unfortunately, a bit far away from the great beaches and Galle Fort.
Fab family-friendly hotel”
Beautiful family-owned hotel near Galle. We had the most wonderful break thanks to this hotel which our kids loved. The owners have paid much attention to making this a family-friendly destination and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Small boutique hotel way from the hustle and bustle”
Small and intimate hotel with plenty of areas outside of your room to sit and read, listen to music or just relax looking out to the ocean. Staff are attentive but not invasive and our stay was exactly what we were after.
Lovely hotel, very relaxing ”
Arabella on Boosa is a beautiful hotel - very calm and tranquil with great access to the beach, and a lovely garden with sunbeds, pool etc. It is very easy to get to/from Galle. The bedrooms are spacious and the decor across the whole hotel is very stylish. The food is good - although a little pricey for what it is, same for the cocktails (which were quite average for the price). The staff are very friendly and looked after us well. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place.
Recommended! Very cozy and clean ”
The stay at this place was just perfect! Rooms are very spacious and cozy (we loved the style). Everything inside is of high end products and very clean. Stuff was friendly. But not so cheap :)
Not worth the money, terrible service ”
Absolutely disappointing experience. There were several power cuts and they have no generator back up in the common areas and kitchen. Our air conditioner remote was not working and the staff did not seem to care when we complained. We ordered dinner and were told after 40 minutes of ordering that some of our dishes could not be made due to a power cut. There were ants in the food and flies at breakfast the next morning (again no working fans due to a power cut). The staff is badly trained and we had to go up to staff quarters to find anyone most times. The room we were in was noisy and we could hear the staff talking loudly most of the time through our bathroom. The beach was quite rough the time we were there and definitely would not recommend swimming there. They had signs warning guests of this. The pool is the size of a lap pool so was not very appealing to us. We also paid a lot due to peak season pricing. So not worth the money. Worst night of our 7 day trip. Avoid!
Definitely worth a visit!”
Cons are the terrible internet. I had some work to do but the internet was out for days at a time. They also have a serious bug/fly issue. Pros are the terrific design and gorgeous beach. the staff was also great and breakfast was nice but limited.
Stylish and cool boutique hotel on the beach ”
The perfect place to end our holiday . Stunning hotel with really charming and friendly staff. Good and varied menu and delicious food. Rooms are beautifully styled and spacious and I wouldn't change a thing.Staff even provided a surprise cake for my husband's birthday...
Amazing personal service ”
The food was amazing We were looked after like royalty. Highly recommended
we went to spend our honeymoon at Arabella on Boossa and it was an awesome experience. The staff are very friendly and the environment is so pleasent. Best customer service.
Fantastic Place - A real beauty ”
Have just returned from 6 nights staying here and we can't write enough as to how wonderful this boutique hotel is. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in, everything is just perfect however it is the staff that make it. Their friendliness and care allows you to relax and chill. Nothing is a bother. Such a wonderful group of people. The breakfast and food in general are just amazing, all freshly prepared, just the way you like it. The interior design of the hotel has a cool vibe, very fresh and unique. We were in the suite which has the best views of the beach. We just loved it. If you get a chance go. You won't be disappointed.
A dreamy boutique hotel ”
Stayed 2 nights. The interiors are soo beautiful. Huge comfy bed & lovely spacious showers. The attention to details are spot on. Staff are really helpful & the margarita's are delicious. Liked that in a tuk tuk 10 mins to the busy Galle restaurants & shopping but had this oasis to come back to. The pool isn't huge or long but nice for a quick cool off. I loved it here ... all of it !
If you like kids, go there ”
POSITIV: -staff, accomandation, new hotel, nice garden, right at the beach NEGATIV: - no silence possible, in the morning at 6 a.m. the staff throws off all windows which is so loud you almost fall out of bed, at breakfast and the whole day the kids of the owner (3) are always around you and very loud, a lot loudness because of the workers (seems the hotel is not finished yet), food in the restaurant is ok, first day my curry was very bad, the second was good, the menu is very small, prices a little to high. all in all, if you like kids and loudness, go there because it is a very nice hotel, but I would not go there a second time.
