Maravilloso lugar en Siem Reap”
Super! De volver a Siem Reap repetiría el lugar.
Very nice, good value for the price I paid.”
It's a small hotel in the central part, not far from the temples and not far from the main street (Pub Street) for going out in the evenings. It doesn't have a pool but it offers a calm and quiet atmosphere and their prices are good. The breakfast wasn't amazing but good enough and their dinner was priced much better than most restaurants nearby. The tours they offer are also priced well and not a rip off. I had my room tidied daily but my sheets were changed only when I asked for it so if you're staying for a week, you may want to ask for this once or twice. The staff is very polite and attentive, very young and keen to practice their English so conversation is welcome. They even prepared breakfast for me to take away on my sunrise tour which was from 5am, way before breakfast time and this was a nice surprise. The garden is nice too and ideal for a drink in the evening but make sure you get a mosquito spray. When it rained they offered me umbrella, which many other small hotels don't bother with. Overall, very pleased with my stay there and will recommend it. It's not a fancy hotel but for it's star rating it's absolutely great.
Great Value For The Price”
I've stayed at this hotel twice, the first time was for a month and this time it was for two weeks and both times went great. The staff is really friendly and helpful, the restuarant in the hotel does have a good menu selection, the property is small but nice looking and has a nice vegetation, and its quiet. Also there is a bank right next door with guards so I would also say this property is pretty safe as well. Some cons though are the staff does have a slightly hard time understanding English sometimes, the bar only serves alcohol after like 5PM, the rooms do need some upgrades, and if you take tuk tuk it's hard for the driver to find the hotel but I take Grab so I don't have that issue. Also they don't have, offer, or give you everything Agoda says they have, give or offer so check with the property first to confirm. Over all this is a great hotel for what you pay. Of course there are nicer and better hotels but for around double or more the price. I would and will stay here again.
Affordable for your money but you need to think twice for your safety!”
When we arrived the place was too dark. The breakfast was good however our room's lock is broken even though we lock it the room can still be open. The only bad feedback is that we supposed to have free simcard, as well free tansfer but we don't get it instead there is a charge. Also the last thing they tried to stop us going to bus stop after we checked out because they see a blood stain from the bed they mentioned we need to stay since they cannot clean it however that's not true since we arrived at the hotel after angkor wat tour then just stayed for a couple of minutes to wash and go to PUB Street the room was recently cleaned that time so rest assured we don't do anything from it. Its only messy before we check out just to double check we don't miss or forget anything.
No hot water & Roster every morning at 3am”
No hot water & Roster every morning at 3am but my hot water came on all of sudden the morning I left and one light working in the bathroom and told staff on check out about the light and was told they are trying to save power because sometime they don't have power for the air con so I don't if they turned off the hot water to save also????
Nine hour wait for two towels and no hot water, ask for the opposite to be done”
The dayshift reception boy could stuff up a cup of coffee and he did you have to ask for the opposite to be done because I said not to clean the room just towels because I had paperwork everywhere and my room was cleaned and paperwork touched and no towels so had to ask the afternoon guy so that took nine hours and asking three people, I asked for the room to be cleaned the next day and my room was not cleaned so asked for coffee the boy gave me creamer not coffee so I just had to go back when the afternoon man was on because I couldn't deal with the kid anymore because when I arrived he gave me the third degree as he couldn't find my photo in my passport or my booking on the computer till I ask to see the manager also I tried to pay but no change so when over to the bank to get change and paid the right money and got a knock on the door because he was confused till I told him I gave the right amount but he forgot in the space of minute that I paid the right amount, TV bad.
Big and comfy! ”
Really love my stay here. You have all the basic necessities, bed is comfy. Staff was really friendly and they arranged a tuk tuk driver to be with me for my entire trip here in Siem Reap so that did save me some money. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but nothing to complain about. Only downside is there was a cat meowing away in the middle of the night. But everything else was great! Great location from wherever you wanna go, especially If you're going to Angkor! Would stay here again if I ever come again, and get the same tuk tuk driver, Mr Choen again! Thank you 😊
The location was really good, 5 minutes to the Giant Ibis Bus company; and also close to temples. The staff was very friendly and service was excellent; also very helpful Staff because they allowed us to take a shower, and also allowed us to leave our bags in the hotel to go early to temples. In the check out provided us a free tuk tuk to go back to the bus company. Thanks,
Room with breakfast free airport transfer. 3dollar/day for city bicycle rent from hotel partners. 700 meters to national museum, 5 km from Angkor wat, 2.5 km from pub street. Room is very nice clean and enough facilities. Valuable to stay.
My favorite Holiday escape!”
My wife and i often travel to Siem Reap for Meeting, work and Holiday. we alway choose this hotel if its available, the reason is this place is so romantic, relaxing environment and good place for sweet escape if you have a tough time at work and just wanna have a place to recover. this hotel is really clean considered this is one of the best accomendation i found in Siem Reap so far. plus this hotel offer free breakfast that would save us couple buck :)
I stayed here for a whole week and there was not a single flaw in the daily operation of this hotel. superfriendly and helpfull staff. tasty breakfast with good coffee. spatious and airy rooms. rainshower. sat tv. conveniently located in e very quiet street in the middle between the city and the historical sites. highly recommendable.
Ashia Hotel staff is so nice and welcoming! From the moment we walked in we enjoyed every second of it. Starting with the small things like cold welcoming towel, drink and snacks til we got to the room. So spacious! The best thing was, the room never got too hot even when the AC wasnt on. Nice and fast wifi aswell. Oh and having the choice of breakfast (which was really good) and the possibility to have it in the room is also such a nice thing. We were really tired and the staff was so friendly so that little thing in the morning really made us happy aswell. Thank you for accommodating us we really enjoyed our stay!
The room is big and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights there. Staff is nice, provided early check in. We checked out very early in the morning on last day, they packed and let us take away breakfast. The location is near to Angkor wat and only took Usd 1.25 travel to pub street. Highly recommended!
Good and value money”
It has very big room and worth it for choosing their hotel. But the one is that they said they have pick up service and they request our bus station company name and arrival time but they didin't pick up for us. The car rental service with the help of their hotel is so pleased for us.
This hotel is great for the money you pay. The staff are friendly but they do have problems understanding some English but they will understand after a second or third time repeating. The lunch/dinner menu has many options but the breakfast menu isn't that good. The hotel itself is nice and has lots of plants surrounding the hotel. The rooms are basic but that's what you pay for. The distance from Pub Street isn't to close but also not far but definitely not normal walking distance. There is a bank right across the road which is very convenient for ATM transactions. Over all I give this hotel a 4 star review.
My room is kind of dark though big and has a bathtub. The location though is quite far from city center. Needs to pay 2 usd one way.
(+) Free transfers to and from airport/bus station. Excellent plated breakfast. Clean and comfy beds, big and clean bathroom. Staff and manager are very friendly, they let us check out very late. (-) There are mosquitoes within the property. Best if you have repellants.
I enjoyed this place. It was very relaxing and quiet. It was a bit far from the center but you can catch a Grab Tuk Tuk from this place. I recommend booking a few days with this place, because you will not want to leave or change hotels a lot when you come to Siem Reap.
Originally booked 3 nights, ended up staying an extra 2. Location for Angkor Wat was unbeatable. Hotel organized full day tour for $17, their driver (Didn't get the spelling of his name but has Lucky on his helmet!) was a very very safe driver, super friendly and didn't rush us at all. 60 minute Thai massage in our room for $10 each. Excellent staff, especially the younger girl at reception in the mornings and the young man who does the reception and hosts the restaurant at night - thanks for helping us with our Khmer!! Cons- Area is garden based, lots of trees so there were a few mosquitoes in our room but hotel very clean. Doors to rooms very noisy to close. Overall we would definitely stay again!
This place is such a lovely and quiet place to stay with really clean and tidy rooms, a really nice tuk tuk driver that picks you up from the airport and also can take you around Siem Reap. The restaurant is small but the food is really nice. A good place to stay if you are visiting the Angkor temples. You can hire a tuk tuk driver for $17 a day through the hotel. Highly recommended
