“Moderno hotel con buena ubicación y excelente piscina”

Pese a que la primera impresión al ingresar al lobby puede no ser de lo mejor (parece un hotel pequeño y la calle de acceso es secundaria), como también había bastante gente pede a ser temporada baja, nos gustó mucho este hotel una vez que entramos a la habitación, pues es grande, moderna y bien iluminada (deben elegir habitación con vista a la piscina, al parecer tienen habitaciones “sin vista” que no son recomendables). La piscina es grande y la ubicación es bastante buena, al frente de la playa, muy cercano a tiendas y a Bangla Road). En casi todo el hotel es muy bueno, desayuno bueno en cantidad y calidad, personal muy amable (y seguro, como todo en Tailandia). En general es muy recomendable, pero tener presente que el lobby se accede desde calle secundaria y que hay algo de ruido por reparaciones que están efectuando en último piso.

“Gran hotel bastante desordenado ”

Es un gran hotel frente a la playa! Casi siempre lleno, lo que hace muy difícil el momento del check in y check out. Tardan mucho en responder a un pedido.. cualquiera sea este ( hacer la habitación). Lo salva su ubicación frente la playa y a pocas cuadras del centro de Patong.

Lo que no me gustó es que nos dieron 3 habitaciones separadas en edificios cuando se pidieron juntas y las 3 la terraza daba a un cerrado cutre sin vistas. A mi me da por los dias que hemos estado que los españoles no caemos muy bien, su inglés es pesimo y se enfadan cuando no se les entiende, pero esto es una ipinion general....

“Mycket bra hotell”

Mycket trevlig upplevelse, vi testade tre olika hotell och detta var det i särklass bästa. Bekväma rum, rent och snyggt, lugnt så man kunde sova på natten trots närheten till alla partyställen. Bra restaurang, kanonbra frukost och mycket trevlig personal. Det enda negativa var gymet, slitna maskiner och lite knepig placering, helt öppet bakom lobbyn. Men helhetsbetyget blir supernöjd. Snabbt Wifi som var åtkomligt över hela hotellet ger extra plus!

me gusto mucho este hotel por la buena ubicacion justo frente a las playas de patong beach!!! el hotel tiene wifi gratis y muy buen desayuno! las habitaciones son grandes y muy comodas!me ha tocado una habitacion con vista hacia la pisina y que se puede disfrutar a toda hora!el personal casi todos hablan ingles!el desayuno es bien variado desde las 6:00 hasta las 10:00!saliendo del hotel esta rodeado de muchas tiendas donde hay muchas ofertas y lugares para hacerse thai masajes a precios muy baratos!tambien muy cerca hau una calle de restaurantes italianos con muy buenas pizzaa y pastas!tambien en la otra calle hay de restaurantes india y de porsupuesto de comida thai y muchos sea food! excelente!

I stayed in Baan Laimai Hotel for 13 days and had the perfect vacation. The staff are all unbelievely friendly and courteous. They go above and beyond customer service that you won't always find in other hotels. Special mention goes to Dear and Zin for their attentivenes. The staff at HERN Coffee and Bistro next door was also super courteous special mention to Eye and Tin and the rest of the crew. The staff at the Reception was always on point for their service. The gym instructor was also very helpful with advise while I used the Gym. Last but not least the Live Band who can play any song under the sun. They were great. I'm sure I left some names out but you all made me feel very welcomed. The hotel itself is fantastic with great amenities and perfect location. It's really hard to beat. Thanks again everyone.

“Big pool suit for family with children”

We had a wonderful stay at Baan Laimai Phuket Hotel. The place is very clean, well-maintained, and has a warm and humble atmosphere. The staff are friendly, polite, and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices to suit different tastes. The hotel offers great facilities, including a spacious swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing or having fun with family, and a playground area where children can enjoy themselves safely. The location is excellent — just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still peaceful enough for a comfortable rest. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to stay in Phuket, suitable for both families and couples. We would definitely come back again!

“Excellent ”

Every aspect of our stay was wonderful. The staff were extremely helpful and very well trained. We travelled with our 1yo and they accommodated all our requests so happily, going above and beyond to make us comfortable. The playroom is really nice too. It does have small beads in the area with the slide, which can be a choking hazard, so parents do need to be vigilant. That said, it’s a great sensory pit 😃 Our family loved the stay. I had read some negative reviews about noise levels, which made me a little nervous before arriving, but we had no such issue. We booked three rooms, including one with very light sleepers who had zero complaints. Besides - if one wants to be in the middle of the busiest & noisiest area of Phuket…… deal with it!!!!!

There are three very good halal restaurants nearby, which makes dining easy and convenient. The hotel is family-friendly and suitable for children, providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I had an amazing experience at Baan Laimai Beach Resort & Spa in Patong! The location is unbeatable—right across from the beach and within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The resort itself is beautiful, with a large pool, lovely ambiance, and spacious, clean rooms. A special thank you to Ms. Angel at the front desk—she was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile. Her excellent service made our stay even more enjoyable and stress-free. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Phuket. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation and convenience, and the staff, especially Ms. Angel, make it a truly memorable experience.

“Number 1 in Patong Phuket Thailand 🇹🇭 ”

I don't know where to start, so I think the beginning is the best. I originally booked 1week thru agaida app who do not tell your hotel or pass on the finer details for your booking, like spe8cial requests and so on. So that puts alot of pressure on the hotel staff 🤔 when booked thru the App and agoda not passing on special needs or reimbursements quests in with your booking. Having said that, the hotel staff were more than accommodating in sorting it out asap with hearing what once again has happened to them, no information given. This place is heaven, the staff are more like family and I can honestly not say a bad thing about it. The location is awesome, the staff are never without a smile, so many beautiful spots around the resort to just chill out and relax, but also so much to do if you don't want to miss out on a thing. Breakfast and the meals were all amazing, the happy hr cocktails were a must do. The resturant and band constantly pull a great crowd and are prices great. They have everything covered here, washing and dryers, 100 baht a load, no need to go out for laundry, steamer also for hire in same location. Cute kids room, great undercover area, pool toys for hire, submersible to hoon around the massive pool, different depths, with a cute little toddler pool separate to the big huge swimming pool. I love it so much, I cancelled the next hotel I was due to go to for another week & booked to stay on here for that week. For me personally, I've been coming to Phuket for many many years, this by far, was my most favourite of all time. It's not the places you visit, but the people you meet along the way. Personally, I would love to do a shout out to those amazing beautiful people who made this trip what it was, having meet you. Starting with Reception Girls, Angel, Jaajaa, Mae & Ben, keep smiling 😃. Assistant Manager Kung Kung, this man was everywhere and you clearly can see how much the staff love him and respect him and how could I not book another week, without him helping me out. 555 His personal touches and ability to remember your name and carry on conversations, shows to me, we are more than just a booking or customer, he truly wants you to have the best experience with him and the resort. Conceirge/Bellmen: Dear & Golf, No matter what shift, what hr of the day, these guys, just smile and keep everything moving. They also love a challenge, when you ask them to help find your Thai uncles new bar on a hill in phuket somewhere. 555. These guys are certainly 1 of the hardest working teams that goes often unnoticed. Buffett Breakfasts daily was always started with the warmest welcomes and smiles, Bicku, Zaw, Tun & beautiful Wandee, were hands down the stand outs for me. Fantastic way to start off every morning with this team. The Pool Bar crew & sometime resturant, dream team were hands down, Joe Joe, New, Jack and young Ace, the Apprentice learning from the dream team, Joe Joe, New & Jack. These guys really keep the atmosphere going, often setting the mood wth their high volume performance, maintaining an amazing work ethic, servicing every clustomets needs and orders, fast turn around times, amazing communication skills and hilarious conversations but also a wealth of knowledge for great places to see and visit locally. Management should be really proud to have these guys representing them. I watched young Ace start off just under 3weeks ago, when I left, I was so proud of how far I had watched him grow, from a shy, less confident new bar guy to being able to navigate his way around the pool deck and also room service, looking up confidently and smiling face to face, knowing, he is learning under the best team. Such a proud moment. The DFBM: Aek, Kudos to Aek, he has an eye for detail and has an amazing team that he has put together. Certainly should get some awards for having a well piled team that runs effortlessly. House Keeping & Maids, huge Kup kun kaa to the girls of 3202 & 72

Perfectly located in the center of Phuket, just steps from Bangla Road, it offers an amazing experience with a lovely swimming pool and outstanding world-class facilities. Baan Laimai is undoubtedly one of the finest hotels we have ever stayed in! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable service. The check-in process was swift and efficient, and we were promptly escorted to our room, which far exceeded our expectations. We were delighted with the room upgrade at Deluxe Superior Room. The room itself was a perfect blend of modern elegance and comfort. The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the room featured a well-stocked minibar and a luxurious bathroom. The facilities were fantastic! We loved the pool, complete with a pool bar. The availability of laundry and ironing services was very convenient, and there was even a playground for kids! The hotel's location near the ocean at Patong Beach is incredibly convenient. It has its own restaurant, and at night, there's an amazing live band. The band's name is The City Band, and they are a must-see! The highlight of our stay was the Elemental Spa! The spa offered a wide range of treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated. The techniques used were incredible, making it a highly recommended spa to try! What truly sets Baan Laimai apart from other hotels is the staff. “Definitely recommend ”

We stayed there for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. The hotel is huge. They have their own restaurant which offers discounts to the guests. The staffs were helpful, the breakfast spread was huge with lots of option. The room was comfortable. Location was great as within 50ms there were many Indian and thai restaurants. Nearby Patong Bangla street. Overall we had a comfortable stay at the property. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting Phuket.

“Can do better”

The hotel didn’t really turn out as expected. It isat a decent location and they can definitely do better in terms of the quality of sheets and pillows they give. They are washed but gives a damp smell. The swimmimg pool need a overhaul. The tiles have marks. Water is not that clean. The staff is very good. They are always smilimg and ready to help. The food is bery good. The bar in the evening with music ia excellent. They just need to refurbish a few things like the bathrooms, pool and lenin.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and attentive. However, the breakfast experience was quite disappointing and did not meet the expectations of a 5-star hotel. The breakfast selection was very limited, offering fewer options than anticipated. Additionally, while breakfast service starts at 7:00 AM, the noodle and soup section was not ready until 7:30 AM, which was inconvenient for early diners. This delay and the lack of variety significantly impacted the overall dining experience. While the hotel excels in many areas, the breakfast service could definitely be improved to match the high standards of a 5-star establishment.

“great hotel and even better staff”

I would like to express my deep gratitude to the management and staff of this fine hotel , Baan Laimai Beach Resort & Spa. Not only did we enjoy our stay, Kun Chai, Kun Kung, and Kun Karen went out of their way to rectify an issue. After checking into our room, I discovered I was missing an envelope containing a large amount of US currency. I inquired at the front desk in case I had left it there, and they said they had not seen it. I assumed it was lost, as there was no information on or in the envelope to identify it as mine. But later that day, I received a call from the hotel saying they had found an envelope containing money. It had apparently fallen on the ground somewhere between the front desk and our room. They did their due diligence to confirm the money was actually mine, and returned it to me. Needless to say, I am very impressed by the integrity and helpfulness of the staff at this hotel, as well as with the cleanliness and comfort of the property itself. I highly recommend staying here.

“Love everything... Location, pool, staff, and rooms ”

We have been staying at baan laimai 7 yrs now almost every year. We love staying here. Location is awesome across the beach n sea and near to everything u want to eat, see, do in Phuket.The vibe and atmosphere at the pool and laimai resto is beautiful. The rooms are big with very nice balcony with rocking comfy chairs with partial sea view from higher floor delux pool view rooms. The housekeeping staff joy and so were amazing always and kept the room fresh and clean. Room has huge comfy bed and even a v comfy full size sofa bed, very nice furnishings and plenty of pillows. We had the best sleep. AC works very well. The views are beautiful of the pool and the partial sea/ beach view. We loved interacting with Gelo from the front desk ... He never said no for any request & would try to help with anything we needed. Wish him much success. All other front desk & reservation staff especially Nuch are good too ...easy to communicate and request for things u may need pre or post arrival. Khun Chai from bell desk and his colleagues were always ready to help with our shopping bags etc whenever we entered the hotel. The pool is big & beautiful...really nice to chill at the pool deck with the comfy chairs and the pool staff is amazing too. We have stayed at many properties and resorts in patong and have found baan laimai to be the best overall for a good relaxing chill holiday to decompress. Keep up the good work baan laimai team...

“Great location. Staff needs to be trained ”

We stayed for 3 nights at Baan Laimai. We were a family of 4 with two children aged 4 and 8. Location was amazing. Our experience with the staff was disappointing and underwhelming both at check in and check out: Positives: Great location with amazing view of the beach Clear and tidy pool with good vibes Negatives: Breakfast quality and variety could be better. We arrived from airport at around 12 pm. Despite requesting for early check in, we were told that room is still being cleaned up and official time is 3pm. We came back after two hours of waiting and loitering around and again told to wait. Finally after many requests, a different lady at reception let us check in 15 minutes early. I am sure, the room even if occupied would have been checked out by previous guests at 12pm and they could have assisted us. At checkout, I was told to wait despite having no balance payable by staff on pretext of room being checked to make sure I didn’t leave anything back. I told the staff that I had checked the room and left nothing behind. He responded rudely that this was hotel policy and I CANT GO. After waiting 5-10 minutes I got the same response and he was finally told off by another reception staff and let us go. The porter didn’t help out with moving the luggage out and onto the taxi. Bottom line: management needs to work on training staff otherwise you will lose loyal customers to bad behaviour by reception staff.

“Location is Key”

I searched for a few hours reading reviews on hotels and locations for Phuket... This hotel is in a great location. Room - Very roomy... nice size. We had the "overlooking pool" room... Ended up just above the pool bar 1 floor above with extremely easy access to the stairs straight down into the pool area... perfect. I would not want one of the direct pool rooms... as they had zero privacy. Largish hotel with alot of people in the pool area during the day. Bed - very comfortable, not hard or soft... Bathroom - functional... Good hot water, had bathrobes, slippers, hair dryer. Room air con - worked great, and quiet. Breakfast - exceptional... many hot choices, nice egg bar including omelets, eggs Benedict, fried, etc., Nice break/pastry bar, Fruit bar, salad bar... all great... one of the better ones I have ever stayed at. Pool - clean... and they posted the water quality daily (chlorine/PH) Location- Directly across the road to the beach.. we enjoyed sitting in the bar chairs and watching the many people walk by in the eves.... nice beach also of course... Shopping - literally walk up the road 5 minutes and tons of shopping, plus "walking streat" with all the bars, and adult stuff only 8 minute walk. Airport to hotel transfer - We used Grab... Cost each way was $24 going, and $25.50 dollars(U.S.) heading back to airport. Takes a little over an hour each way.

“Great Weekend Getaway at a Great Beachfront Hotel”

A beautiful hotel at a convenient location, with great customer service. We stayed at a rooftop unit facing the beach which is just across from the hotel. The room was spacious, clean and came with a nice, almost private patio. The breakfast spread had sufficient variety and has both indoor and alfresco options, also facing the beach. Tried the spa in the hotel. Massage was good, and the spa is very nice. There is also a nice cafe/bistro on level 1, called Hurn, that serves good coffee and cakes, and has great bunch/lunch options. The hotel is within walking distance to many dining, massage and shopping options.. Good place to stay for a Phuket experience without having to travel out at all. Will return here if I were to be back at Patong, Phuket.

“Lovely hotel, big room great location”

This is a lovely hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The pool area becomes a little crowded however it is opposite the beach. It is really very nice. Clean pleasant route to surprise we had a facing break.

“Honest review”

The positives are that the hotel staff, location and venues are wonderful. The negatives are the following: Over priced for a 4 star hotel at *** a night, when the following challenges exist: A- No Hot Water for 24 hours after multiple requests to fix it. B- Safe need reseting and i asked three times to have someone come fix it. C- The hotel rooms in the second building face a redtaurant that plays live music and singers with powerful speakers that are impossible to ignore if you are trying to sleep. I asked for help and was told they would speak to the restaurant. I slept for 4 hours only. Its a shame that when sharing my concerns with the lovely staff they said they would communicate to managment for future improvements rather than resolve my concerns. Either way its a beautiful hotel and staff are lovely, but not worth the price at all. And poor response with some unresolved issues.

“Would recommend. Check your room first!!”

We booked for 4 nights and at first glance everything looked great. This place has an excellent location and the staff are very friendly. We went to our first room and was immediately hit with a very strong mold and mildew smell. There was water coming up from under the vinyl plank flooring in the room. We told the staff member that helped us to our room about this as he turned the air conditioner on. They do not have the rooms air conditioned when not in use. If you take your key card out of the power socket, the air conditioning will shut off as well making the room very muggy and musty due to the high amount of humidity in the air. I am allergic to mold and mildew and after being in the room for 20 minutes, I was feeling miserable. We told the staff about the issue and the resolution from them was to spray some scent in the room. We told them that would not work. We need a room that didn't have mildew in it. They tried another room next door and the situation was the same. Very strong mildew smell. The manager tried a third room and same thing, mildew smell because the air is shut off, but this room was not as bad. The manager sent in a bunch of staff to decontaminate the room. They ran an ozone machine in the room for an hour and we decided to stay in this room. We had no further incidents. Thank you to the manager for doing everything she could for us.

“Extraordinary”

The hotel is one of the most organized hotels my family and I have stayed in, we enjoyed the facilities provided and the excellent service, the hotel’s location allowed us to easily access many parts of the town without the need for tuk tuks or taxis. The hotel also is connected to a coffee shop that serves excellent food and drinks, it also has a restaurant with a different range of food options. The hotel also has an excellent spa with great service.and the swimming pools was huge and always clean. The only disadvantage is the long waiting time during check-in where we had to wait for around 3 hours for us to check in to our rooms even though we had previously booked our rooms. Over all, we experienced great and fast room service and we got exactly what we paid for.

Great location which is located right in the heart of patong beach Stuff can be pricey around the area but there are lots to shop as well There are quite a number of pools hence not so crowded, a playroom for the kids which comes with slides and a laundry room to clean the clothes

“Great hotel”

Stayed here a few times on boys trips. Great hotel for access to Bangla Road and Otop. Rooms are clean and comfy, staff are very nice. Not a budget hotel so don’t expect budget prices, but definitely a must for me when travelling to Patong

“Great stay in Patong”

This was a great hotel. Special shout out to Sanjeev who was great with our toddler at breakfast every morning and Jack at the pool bar who went above and beyond with a huge smile and great sense of humour. Would have been five star for cleanliness but our room clean was missed two days out our 11 night stay leading to us having to call them to clean. To their credit, the housekeeper came at 6pm to clean the room when we found it hadnt been made up. We had an issue with road noise being so close to Patong main beach at night but management were super accommodating and moved us to a great space to have a good night sleep. Overall a great stay and would recommend.

“Resort vibes in a hotel”

Beautiful property, from the koi in the lobby area to the swimming pool. Location is prime - right in front of Patong beach. You can walk to several restaurants, markets and convenience stores in minutes. The pool caters to kids and adults alike. Rooms are spacious and clean and cleaning staff are very friendly. The system is very well-thought of. The two things that bothered me were that reception staff are generally quite busy and may take some time to respond to queries and check-in and check-out process may take some time. There is also no iron provided in the room which is a slight inconvenience since you have to take what you want to wear to a different floor. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.

“Great location on Patong Beach”

Rooms are big, bright, comfortable bed & good bathroom. 3/4 of the big pool is approx 1 metre deep. Tip, use the restaurants & shops outside the lobby for cheaper

“Excellent location/Highly recommended ”

We had almost had 60 family and friends and most of us stayed at this hotel. Staff were amazing. Rooms are nice and big. It is in the central area. Everything was just amazing and yes a bit pricey but everything in Phuket is expensive. We all had an extra awesome time at Baan Lai Mai Resort. Khob khaun khaaaa🙏

“Highly recommend ”

We really enjoyed our stay here. Directly across the road to the beach and close to all the action but far enough away from Bangla Rd. The breakfast here was very good and made better being able to see the ocean while eating. We had a pool access room which was big and clean. The slight downside was that it is not that easy to get in and out of the pool from our room. We are both in our 60’s so maybe someone younger it may not be such a problem. We had one of the rooms nearer to the road and you can clearly hear the music provided by the resort each evening until it finishes. We were here during low season so there wasn’t that many people using the pool which would have made it easier to get a sun lounger so next time would book a different room. I believe in high season the pool access room is the way to go. We will definitely come back here again on our next visit.

“Read the fine print”

This is a great hotel located right on the beach. The hotel restaurant serves up excellent food--I mean really great food and the restaurant staff are great. The hotel is a sold 3-4 star. The hotel furniture is not over the top. It is basic but comfortable. My only qualms was the shower had soap stains all over it. I assume these accumulate over time, but I never saw a hotel with soap stains on its shower doors. Otherwise, it was clean. Secondly, if you do not check in with the second party on your room, you will be charged 1000 baht per night extra. Even if you booked this room for 2 people. Carefully read the policy they make you sign when you check in. I didn't pay it much attention, since I've never had to sign anything like this before, but was caught unaware. The hotel staff are attentive and polite. Really great place and aside from the above, very minor things, the overall experience was excellent and I would definitely stay there again.
