lovely peaceful place with private river view”
Highly recommend! I planed one night to stay over in Kanchanaburi and extended to two nights partly for this beautiful riverfront guesthouse. good location: a few minutes walk from Railway station 'River Kwai Bridge' good setup: a very lovely small garden facing taken good care by the stuff here; and a few patio in the river front. I come to sit on the bench both mornings to enjoy my breakfast and around sunset time to cool out and also watch a pair of boats coming by. The owner family are friendly and helpful. They have bike to rent and can arrange to book tickets for you. I will choose this place again if i ever visit back Kanchanaburi.

We booked a standard room on Agoda for 3 nights. This was a good stay! The bungalow is very simple, with limited furniture. But the bed is good, the shower is hot and the room very clean. Everything we needed! The guesthouse is nicely maintained, by the river Kwaï, and has its charm. No breakfast at Bambooya but there is an excellent and pretty inexpensive restaurant next door (at the Bamboo House). We found the location perfect, being at a walking distance to the River Kwaï bridge as well as the ‘international area’ of town where it proved very easy to book car and scooter during our stay in Kanchanaburi and area. A very good choice! We will come back!

One of the best and very satisfied to stay at this resort. The location are strategic and easy access to some attractions places. We love the warmth and friendly service from the staffs and owner there. Surely will return back to this great resort next time! Thumbs up for the overall condition.

Quiet location, near river, comfy bed”
After the 3 hour train ride from Bangkok which I doubt I’ll do again when it’s 100 degrees it was a relief that bambooya was close to the bridge station.. Staff very nice and chilled... the bed was the most comfortable I’d slept in for a while in Thailand.. food was ok little small portions but cheap... but walk out and turn right and a few yards up on the right is an amazing restaurant called Kanburi and the selection and food was delicious!!

nice hotel right at an MRT exitstation. Big room, nice bed, fast wifi, toiletries. Across from Union Mall. Restaurant and swimming pool, I didn't use either. Room safe, big TV, english channels.

It's difficult to walk out to the main street as there were many street dogs and not enough light. Not much service here and lots of mosquitos. The internet was good. I chose the room with river view (glass room) was great.

Unexpected bonus”
I didn't expect to have a bike available to ride for no extra cost, so that was an unexpected bonus. The property is exactly as shown in the photos. I'd recommend booking as many days as you plan to stay in Kanchanaburi in advance. If you extend, it will probably be more expensive than booking in advance.

Very nice Homestay”
We like the Place a little bit outside th city, but very near to the Bridge. The only negative thing are the nighbours with the loud music, mostly the hole Night. I don‘t know, why it is possible to disturb the hole nighbourhood with this noise. Inside the house with aircondition it is possible to sleep.
