Good hotel service but hotel rooms need an upgrade”
The hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating. We really liked the hotel ambience and the breakfast buffet was just okay. The only thing we were disappointed about was the hotel room seems outdated and needs some maintenance. The hotel towels, even though they were newly washed, really needs to be changed. All of the towels we used were all ripped with threads hanging and it looked so soiled that it doesn’t look white anymore. Overall, the hotel is quite accessible to most areas and the rate is affordable so we still enjoyed our stay.
My kids aged 9, 8 & 5 yrs old enjoyed their first time visiting Bohol Ph especially the hotel coz our room is in Pool side. Kids love this place so much. Surely we will come back to stay here in bohol tropics. Very convenient to anywhere. Thank you Bohol Tropics ❤️❤️❤️
Our room, i was told, was among the old ones in the resort. And it showed. The furnishings were clearly outdated. But i loved that they had a sewing kit. Although the view was beautiful, it was off-putting to be subject to the stink of the seashore while having breakfast. So, just get a seat away from the shore. Breakfast options on the second day was way better than the first. It’s good that they have a very helpful staff.

13th of July night time around 9pm was raining hard, no one came to our van to assist us for an umbrella. So I decided to come out and ask some umbrella to borrow. Asked the 2 receptionist Joan and Kim for an umbrella but no reply they just stare at me no words. Asked SG Gunting for umbrella, he went to get one but his mobile phone rang he answered first and start chatting to his mobile phone so I decided to get the umbrella from him but reluctant to give it to me. While he’s still on his mobile phone he asked me with an attitude if we are checked-in in the hotel. Very unacceptable and very unprofessional. Raised this issue to the management but no reply. NEVER NEVER NEVER GO TO BOHOL TROPICS.
Old and rundown hotel right on the waterfront. ”
Unfortunately i must rate this place a NO NO. Plenty of reasons: Old look and style, Bathroom in our room was newly redone but of a quality of very low standard. Maybe a Boholano Way. Broken new tiles on wall, instalment of the glass door done like from a trade who have never done it before! The other issue of importance is the cleanness. you can forget it, this place dont know what is a mop!!. Sad that the owner, who is a important person in the local community have such a bad management. Perhaps a open eye or a pair of glasses should help a bit

Only booked 7 nights as not been before and a bit fussy. Rest unfortunately was pre paid for Hennan. Next visit will all be at Bohol tropics. Great value, clean, massive room and friendly staff. Pools good. Could do with sun loungers but what you get for price is great. Could hear music from room but so good we were happy with this. Richard cleaned room well. Good focus on customer and daily bed changing without asking. Better than hennon. Only 1000 peso deposit and check in/out was easy. Hennon clearly focus on profit first but feel like Bohol tropics has customer as number 1. Pillows amazing too. Shower better than Hennon. Keep up the great work and we will be back.
they have to improve the cleanliness especially the rooms.Our room smells bad and the AC was not working properly, too hot. we even transferred to another room but still the same problem. they have to reevaluate there standards of Quality and Cleanliness.

Stayed here a night as the ferry cancelled the room was spacious but a bit bare and tiled floor so some slippers would have been good. Very hard bed i didn't get a good nights sleep really and the food was very ordinary as well as the internet. One night was enough

Small things could be improved, like better cleaning of the (bath)room. And we found staff at the restaurant that didn't spoke english. But overall was good and people are friendly

poor customer service; front desk staff were not friendly; we arrived 12 noon but was checked-in almost 3 pm already; waiting lobby is too small and and lacks ventilation
Food is great. Swimming pools are spacious and clean, and well-themed. The rooms are elegantly designed, clean and comfortable. The only downside during our stay is that there is a cat residing above the ceiling in room 214, and it kept making noises throughout the middle part of the night. Aside from that, the resort is pleasant and well recommended.

The location is good, very near the port. We walked around the city and just rode a tricycle going back. The pool was very good and they turned on the slide even though we were the only guests swimming. The only downside is no swimmable beach. We also loved the breakfast! Will definitely come back.
Rooms are very nice and clean , Food is very bad breakfast , we saw baby cockroach running on the cut fruits, we oredered French fries . Arrive on the table ice cold and soggy I ask the waiter he said it’s comes like that not good service at the restaurant, food is awful need good chef and re organized that restaurant, I will not go back to that restaurant again , hotel room ok , internet is very very slow
Everything was ok, but the electric kettle had very strange smell inside like it was boiled some fish in :( and we did not use it. Also for travellers good to know that different events might have place at the day of your stay and it makes quite a noise, but good that till 10-11 p.m it finished. The hotel provides a shuttle to the airport, that is extremely convenient.
Not worth the money”
Not a good choice. First of all: the room was Nice and big. Beds very, very comfy and a giant Bathroom. Those were the only pluspoints. There was one pool closed. The facilities at the other pool and common area were poor. Dirty toilets, No towels and the sun beds were broken. The restaurant was very average, not to say poor. The salads were swimming in oil, the sandwiches were 4 cm big and the Chicken in my curry wasn't meat: it was bones and pure fat (and I am used to the Asian Chicken standards). But breakfast was the worst. It was only asian breakfast, Nothing more. For people wanting something else than fish heads and rice for breakfast, don t Bother. The one dish (eggs) that is viable for breakfast was empty all the time. The hotel was fully booked and the hotel didn't bother to 'guide' the people through the breakfast. There was chaos and the atmosphere was terrible, very loud. People from all over town were coming for breakfast.. 80 USD for this.... not worth it.

The location is conveniently near the ferry port and centrally placed. The facility offers full resort amenities and comfort with large pool, but is located in central Tagbilaran, away from beeches.

My wife stayed with our kids. She said it was nice but the bathroom needed some work. She also stated water pressure was low.

The room was spacious enough for four people. We requested for an extra bed upon booking and it was ready when we checked in. The pool was clean and well maintained. Glad that the management did renovations as most rooms and facilities were already outdated when we last visited a few years ago.
