Amazing hotel with an amazing staff. Great value for money”
C1 Fort was an excellent boutique hotel in the city. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and comfortable. The hotel was a great price, it provided a clean room, with modern bathroom, the breakfast every morning was wonderful, WIFI was available throughout the hotel - and was very good service. The price of the rooms combined with the amazing staff made this one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka. If you're looking for well priced options with new and modern rooms, bathrooms and facilities - i completely recommend C1 Fort.

The Ritz of all hostels”
I am 60 and this was my first stay in a hostel since Damascus 2005. I was wondering if I wasn't WAY too old for a hostel. But there was really no reason at all to worry. First off, the lobby looked like that of a boutique hotel. Then I got an early check-in for free. The locker under my bed was huge and sturdy. It looked also brand new - a far cry from the battered lockers I remember from my younger years. That did wonders for my sleep. And the fact that no one in the room even whispered when someone was sleeping. I also had a hearty laugh with a Swedish girl over her huge backpack which was the largest specimen I'd ever seen! On my second stay I got a free printout of my five travel documents. I was also allowed to take home a book from their shelves in exchange for my smallish guidebook. The hostel is a stone's throw from the President's palace which made sure the hostel had an unprecedented police protection during the protests in April 2022 😉.

This hotel/hostel is one of the best I've stayed in in Sri Lanka. The place is very new, super clean and with very nice furnishings. Rooms are very spacious, have AC and the beds are very comfortable. Lockers provided as well. Toilets and showers are cleaned regularly, very spacious and with hot water. The locasion is good and the stuff is very welcoming, nice and helpful. Would recommend staying here...

Great location, quite pleasant and clean rooms. However, this property is an exceptionally great place to stay because of its warm and friendly staff. They are pretty helpful and make their guests so comfortable. This will be my must-stay place on my next visit to Colombo. As a solo female traveler, I will recommend this place to my fellow women folks as we look for safety and security during our stay.

I've been to many hostels in many countries bu this one is definitely in my top 3 : super clean, bed very confortable, great showers, excellent breakfast...and wonderful staff, lovely and super helpful (Zaky in particular but all of them are great). I don't know what more one could expect. And free coffee and tea, the green tea being the best I ever tried...

Excepcional”
Excellent location in the heart of the old town. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Having a tea and coffee area was a nice touch and gave us an airconditioned place to stay waiting for a late flight at no extra cost. The taxi driver the hotel found however, avoided the freeway to save money and added a lot of time stopping and asking for directions and going on busy backstreet roads

Beautiful and amazing value hostel in centre of town”
This hostel/hotel is fantastic value for money. The location is right in the centre of the fort, 10 minutes walk from the station and easy to get around. The design is very classic, chic and high quality. The lobby area is great for chilling and working, with many tables, sofas and plug outlets and free tea, coffee and water. The dorm room is good quality and the bed is comfy. Breakfast is fantastic and in a beautiful setting on the roof, plus the staff are so attentive and friendly! You really feel like you’re staying somewhere very expensive!

The place is awesome and highly recommendable to anyone who appreciates the value for money and being accessible to all other sites of the town centre. The place is filled with hospitable and courteous staffs who will not fail you in their level of service until your checkout. Will definitely stay here once again in my next visit in Colombo.

Great ho(s)tel in a great location”
Love this place - stayed here for 4 nights in May and 3 nights again in June. The beds and rooms are super comfortable (had the best sleeps here during my two months in Sri Lanka) and clean. The staff are amazing, helpful and super friendly.

The staff is more than amassing they are very welcoming and at disposal 24/7. It’s impecable clean and has a great terrace where you can have a very very nice breakfast! The location is just a few blocks away from train and bus station. Just perfect :)

Excellent Boutique Hotel”
This excellent boutique hotel has both private and dorm rooms. Facilities are clean and over the top! Fast and reliable WiFi throughout the building, clean bedrooms with functioning AC and hot shower (towel included). Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast included was sumptuous and wholesome!

Best Place to stay in Colombo”
If you are a tourist or traveling for work. this is one of the best places to stay at very reasonable prices, hotel feels like home, with cooperative staff and clean sitting places. just laundry service is not available otherwise 5 stars for everything.

Value for money, and its a clean hotel. The staff are very friendly, the manager even helped us to book a car for our tour. The food are okay, maybe hoyel can change the menu for breakfast. Overall it was a nice stay and very satisfied.

We spent there a night, staff was very helpful and kind, room was comfortable and breakfast was served on the rooftop. We’ve got some fruit and an omelette. So far the best hotel in Sri Lanka for the price range.

Best budget place in colombo”
Great place to stay, super clean, very helpful staff and close to fort station. I stayed in a private room, it was bright and light, very comfy bed, and hot shower with good water pressure. Can’t fault the C1.
