Moderno hotel con un excelente desayuno”

Estuvimos una noche, el hotel es muy moderno en el centro de Kandy a 200 metros del templo del diente de Buda. Como defecto, aunque poco importante para pasar una noche, es que mi habitación no tiene ventanas y era un poco pequeña aunque confortable. El desayuno muy sabroso y abundante.

Great Location, Friendly Staff”

I loved that there's a cafe just below the hotel rooms. I could easily go down for a quick snack, or chill with a cup of coffee at night without leaving the safety of my accommodation place. Rooms are clean and compact, location is great. Will stay again if I come to Kandy again!

Thank you Bashi and his team for their excellent service. We arrived at the hotel from colombo really early in the morning so our room was not yet ready. Hotel manager Bashi was attentive to our needs and arranged a deluxe room for us to take a nap before our room was ready. He also arranged for our breakfast to be ready in takeaway packs early next morning as we needed an early check out. We felt really taken care of and appreciate the hospitality by Cafe Aroma! The standard room we had was basic but very clean and good enough for our stay. Hotel was also located near the tooth temple and was convenient to get around everywhere else. Bashi and his team at Cafe Aroma definitely made our day 1 in Sri Lanka an awesome experience to start our trip with!

Great location and staff”

The staff was simply amazing - although I arrived way before the check-in time they made sure my room was ready so that I could take a shower and rest after a long flight. Nothing was a problem for them - extra towels, water, putting two single beds together, organizing cheap transportation around Kandy or a super quick breakfast. Staff performance - 10/10 :)

Gem in Kandy”

Best stay ever. I've never seen such friendly staff who goes to that extra mile to help us out. And also the food was very tasty you would want to eat more. The location was a plus cause we could walk to everywhere.

An oasis of luxury in the centre of the city!”

Definitely the best place in Kandy! Located just next door to the Temple of the Tooth and the lake, it is truly an oasis of luxury in the centre of the city. We loved the design and the cleanliness of the spacious rooms, amazing shower with lovely complimentary toiletteies, the cheerful smiles of the helpful staff and the restaurant downstairs:) Totally recommend it, even picky aristocrats like us would love it!

Shopping at its footsteps”

Right at the doorsteps is a busy shopping area. However, there is nothing much to buy. The rooms have a glass full length wall which is right beside the aisle and privacy is only a curtain. The food is ok as the cafe is situated on the first floor which is shared with the lobby.

Nice hotel inside near temple of the tooth”

We had a nice but short stay in cafe aroma inn. Arrived 7:00pm and had to leave 6:30am . The room is nice and clean , easy check in without hiccups . We had our free breakfast at 6:30 am very dissapointing because it was just plain eggs toasted bread overcooked thin hotdogs and just bread wih some fruits, for the price i paid i'm expecting a quality breakfast .

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! The location is great - surrounded by both local and more western spots. The rooms are really clean and comfortable.

Nice location which need the tooth temple and Kandy lake, the breakfast is very delicious. The bad thing is the mattress little bit broken.

Cafe Aroma Inn is Best Hotel in Kandy”

Hotel prices in Kandy seemed reasonable compared to other hotels. Its best advantage is the location - a five-minute walk from the temple, close to the railway station and in a busy area with shops and restaurants. The bedroom was fine. Sleep quality was good, and there is a nice small balcony overlooking the street. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Perfect if you want to stay in the city”

Location is good - walking distance from few attractions in the city however driving there takes time because of traffic so be sure what your preference is. Overall good - staff was very helpful and understanding. It was a short stay for us though and everything went pretty good.

internet was problematic though -- spotty. Has a lot of short steps -- so not suitable for person with difficulties negotiating this. Very pleasant staff. Great breakfast. Good location - close to all places by walking.

Good location”

The hotel in the heart of Kandy. You can not find out the better one. Staffs are so warm and pro. The room is not really large but acceptable if you stay shortly. It takes 5 minutes to Tooth relic Temple anf the central lake, so the location is very convenient for one night tourist. There are a lot good shops and restaurants are stepped around.
