Good location, good value, few elevators ”
The place was really nice with complete kitchen stuff. I really liked that we had a balcony for some city view. The staff were very helpful with all my inquiries and assisted us even after office hours. One thing that I don’t like is not related to cozy studios itself but the building. The beacon is a high rise building with only 4 elevators. 1 of which was not working during our stay. This made the line at the ground floor really long and the waiting time is long too. But if you are not particular with these kind of stuff, the place is situated in makati cbd and is perfect for a fee days of city living..
Twenty minute walk from Greenbelt. Next to many Japanese and Chinese restaurants. Expect loooong delays waiting to go up and down the elevator in the building. Internet is reliable at 2mbps download.
This "condo" was awful..... location and building was great. staff were ok and gave information when you ask them. whom ever i was in contact was available and replied within the day. The room, well, it was horrible. first, the sheets were reeking of fabric softener and it gave me a raging headache. all the clothes i wore reeked of the fabric softener they used to wash the sheets. the bed was horrible. not a real bed. it seemed like a carpenter made the bed with some plywood, boxed it, and had a foam mattress on top and the bed made a sound every time we moved so it kept us awake. it was really uncomfortable. the ultra thin blanket seemed like it was for a single bed. which made sense because the aircon was so weak it barely cooled down the room. no one needed the cover. Also, i registered 4 guests for the room and we were welcomed with 3 towels. amenities were non existent. all in all we hated the place. will never stay here nor will i suggest to anyone.
The room was good but The Beacon wasn't”
The room was clean and had a nice view. We had no problems with the room itself but it was a big hassle trying to check ourselves in coz our check-in papers were not endorsed to the front desk so they had no idea about it. We waited close to an hour before we were able to finally check-in. Then only 2 elevators were working in such a huge building so we had to form a long line (like MRT) before we could get in the lift. The Beacon staff were so unhelpful and impolite. It is obvious they lack customer service training. I wouldn't recommend staying at The Beacon. There are lots of affordable rooms with better service elsewhere.
Good value for money”
I will rent again. My first experience with this type of rental. Spoiled with room service,fresh towels,but I adjusted fine.
other units in the property are much better, as the room I got was nothing like the photos shown. hopefully the staff would be more attentive to their guests in the future. anyways, you get what you pay for...
Better than expected”
To be honest, we weren't expecting much because of some negative feedback about this place. But when we got there, it wasn't all that bad! I guess the owner worked on what had to be improved. The welcome instructions we received through SMS were easy to understand. Ground security staff were cooperative. Internet connection was fast. View was great. Oh but there weren't any cable TV but that wasn't important to us. Overall I'd recommend and I'd stay again.

Nothing was explained to me. I requested for 2 beds but only 1 bed was given. The stove was not working. The toilet was clogged. The shower head was loose. Not enough linens, no blanket. The towels were poor quality. The elevator was not enough for the amount of people in the building. Make it worst, 1 elevator car was out of service. The coordinator was no where to be reached. I did not expect all of these. Overall, it was poor for a first timer.
Customer service makes all the difference”
Monica, the on-site manager went out of her way to make sure the room we got suited our needs. She responded promptly to queries and was both friendly and professional. The room was clean and well maintained. Nice swimming pool, including a kiddie pool and playground.I would definitely return there.
No service, no information on wifi connection, no cleaning of room, always line up for elevators, interior of room awful, terrible towels, not good bed, noisy aircon, noisy air vent in bathroom, no-one to give key when departing! This place should not be promoted by Agoda!!
It's a practical, good location. Arrangements though for checking in and out are crude but functional.
not what we've expected - Tower 2 / Apt.3934”
We booked the Sudio Appartement for 4 nights. We especially booked it because the pictures at the Agoda page shows a quite large room (28sq/m) with balcony. When we arrived the appartement was unlocked and the key on the table. The room is kinda small, pictures are fooling. Balcony? ... not there. Calling the agent he said there are no appartements with balcony at all. Okay. It's a bit bit like buying a IPhone7 and get IPhone5 delivered. To get the TV running needs to have a media course in advance. No instruction prepared. We were not able to watch TV. Same as house rules, check-in and check-out instructions. The kitchenette contains a frying pan, 4 cups and a few plates. On our 3rd of 5 days arround midday: water interruption. No water in the kitchenette and also in toilet. It didnt come back till the next day morning so at 5am we decided to leave. Putting the key at the table, left the door unlocked as we found it. There are better appartements for less money to find in Makati. We surely will not back again.
Stay there for 6 nights and there was a water interruption for 3 days. The elevator is always full, one time I have to wait for about 35 minutes that I had to use the stairs from the 15th floor down all the way to the ground floor. I make a joke with my friend that its like I'm living in the deep province that I have to pitch water for my shower....goodness!!! It was terrible no water for the entire 3 days.
The area is very convenient to us. However, the elevators are not working and it takes a long time to go up and down the building. The shower needs repairs and maintenance. There is also cockroach in the room. The stuff under the kitchen sink smells bad. The cabinets need updating and repairs.
Comfortable - and friendly staff

Great location with a lot of restaurants, food shops supermarkets. The pictures in Agoda shows Condo with balcony, got a condo without. The condo had a nice size and internet working very well. Bathroom and condo floor need to be better cleaned before new guests arrive. No rice cooker, toaster, cooking pots, drinking glasses etc. only a worn out frying pan. Also missing house rules in the unit, security guards in Tower 2 like to fine people if you don't follow the rules.
Perfect for staycation”
The unit I stayed at has a balcony which is just perfect. Though, I believe not all of the units have it. It would be nice if you can get to confirm with the contact person from The Beacon (or Agoda?) such preferences and if only the contact can be a little bit more proactive, it would be a much more great experience for a first timer like me. I had to initiate the "reach out" to get the instructions on what to do upon arrival/check in. Then, the day of the check out, I didn't hear any from the contact at all.
