El hotel es un amplio recinto situado justo al lado del rio y a unos minutos andando del puente. El entorno es muy bonito pero el hotel esta bastante viejo. Las habitaciones son amplias pero les hace falta una remodelacion urgentisima. Eso sí, la atencion es buena, muy amables. Esta lejos de la ciudad, se necesita transporte, aunque para lo que hay que ver, mejor quedarse en el hotel, que por lo menos tiene un bar con musica en vivo.

We booked a suite and they upgraded us to suite by the river. The price is really spectacular. Our room are large and felt like home [ aduplex]. The room style was retro and very comfortable, nice furniture. Very nostalgic vibe to the economic boom era. Villas are among huge gardens, very pleasant to walk around. You can even jog or do morning run. Family and couple friendly. They have two pools with good maintenaince. The breakfast is quite bland, but the landscape , the gardens are well kept. Lovely view of riverkwai and bridge. Sunrise view is lovely and heartwarming. ☀️ ** Aircon was broken on the second night. there were some mosquito due to tropical plants.

Visit Kanchanaburi Bridge on the Kwai”
We visited the hotel because it is very close to the famous bridge. We were greeted very warmly the whole staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean, the breakfast was available in sufficient quantity, we ate very well in the restaurant, we have nothing to complain about, we will definitely come back. We would like to express a special thanks to Mrs. Nuttanan Mahachote, we were excellently looked after by various recommendations and advice, thank you very much from Hua Hin!

Fabulously friendly staff , superb location . A large resort style hotel with two pools , tennis courts and really comfortable beds. Can view the bridge over the kwai from here . Reccomend a river view room if possible. Large rooms a little dated but clean and very comfortable. Breakfast buffet good , mostly asian but some western style. Would definitely stay here again when next visiting kanchanaburi.

The hotel is built for more than 20 years, so the style is a little out-fashioned, but it is good to remind us of the good old days. The park located along the river is good for morning walk. Breakfast is superb, lots and lots of choices!!! It is so beyond our expectation. Hotel has shuttle bus to center if you do not have car. Every staffs are super friendly especially the manager (you have got to come here and see by yourself. What I mean super friendly is SUPER friendly). I really love this place and will return for sure.

Felix river Kwai resort is an exceptional resort located right on the banks of the river Kwai with great views of the famous bridge. One feels so close to nature while staying at this resort. Yes, it’s a little old but I think that adds to its charm. I would recommend taking a river facing room. The fresh river breeze made for an amazing morning everyday during our stay. We just couldn’t resist going for a morning walk everyday along the riverbank inside the resort. The restaurants are amazing too and food was top notch.

One of the best resorts you can find in Kanchanaburi. Kuhn Pisit and Fern in the restaurant were fantastic. Nong Bank and the check-in/out staff were very quick and I had no problems. Kuhn Norma was very helpful with information about the trains and tourist areas. Whenever you need help, you can always find her. She is a great asset to the resort! The pools are great and the view from the balcony is beautiful. I will definitely be coming back.

Felix resort is a beautiful resort with a soul. The resort itself is massive with two areas that each has its own pool. If you choose river view rooms, you will be away from the families and have the most romantic, serene stay. The resort first seems like a typical “away from everything” kind of resort but it is just a short drive from the Main Street. We enjoyed our stay, the staff is highly professional and serviceminded, the breakfast banana cake is highly recommended. Best choice in Kanchanaburi, you get a lot of value for your money.

We stayed in riverfront room, very very very calm. No separate bath and shower but bathroom is very large. Breakfast is very good for Thais. The best thing about this place is a large area along Kwai Yai River makes guests feel very comfort.

Excellent stay - already rebooked”
It isn’t as dated as the other reviews make out. It is but it is still very, very nice with fantastic facilities. The restaurant food is very good, except the pizza (which is terrible) but everything else is excellent and great value. Rooms are huge and those facing the river have truly incredible views. Pool area is also fantastic (2 pools). The staff are super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Already re-booked for another trip.

Huge Hotel! ”
I went to Kanchanaburi to relax and unwind and I was never disappointed with Felix River Kwai for giving me the best amenities a hotel can offer. This hotel is a stone's throw away from the famous WW2 Bridge and surrounding it are numerous floating restaurants and the Jeath War Museum which is very educational. Felix River Kwai is a huge hotel, a tourist attraction in itself. Please go here and experience it.
