Good place to stay in Hoi An”

I have stayed 2 days here and feeling comfortable, they have good facilities, good services and friendly staffs. You stay in a homestay but it feels like you are in a 3-star hotel and it is cheap even on peak days.

Best room I had my entire trip!”

I loved my stay at Golden Bell. The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and abundant. The room was clean, spacious, and beautiful, with a lovely little balcony. It had a fridge and wine that you could purchase. The bed was very comfortable. The location is halfway between the beach and the night market, but there wasn't much going on in the vicinity. They had free bicycle rentals!

In between the ancient town and the beach (20mins walk/5mins bike ride either way), this place is super convenient. We had good sized room that came with a bathroom and the breakfast was excellent (fruits eggs bread cereal banana pancake etc etc). The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady at the reception. We would definitly recommend staying here!

An excellent value - a nice room for a very reasonable price”

This is my 3rd time in Hoi An so I know the area and hotel values well. Price was very reasonable, room clean and modern though a little worn, comfortable bed (many hotels in Asia have very hard beds), a decent breakfast but for the room price the breakfast was very good. The owner and his in laws, despite not speaking English, are very hospitable and helpful. Viet, the owner, used his Ipad to converse with me. On my first night he offered to join him for a beer. Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well and was disappointed I couldn't get to know him and the other guests better. The location is a bit far from the ancient town - for me not a real problem because I've already seen everything I want there - though at night there is lots of street food there. It's about 15-20 minutes by their free bikes and maybe 30+ minutes walking. But if it's your first time there, it's nice to walk or bike to see Hoi An better. A grab taxi is only about $2, a grab motorcycle 70 cents. Highly recommended!

Great hostress with fast reply and ready and happy to provide information on the area / arrange for tours and transport. Location wise it's situated in quiet neighbourhood midway between an bang beach and old town. 20-25 minutes walking distance to old town. The rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. However aircon can be tad noisy throughout the night and you may be awaken by chickens (neighbour keeps them) or staff preparing for breakfast. With the town bring small n many motorcycles, being off the main road means there is less traffic noise. Comfortable stay overall.

Best hotel / homestay that I stayed at in Vietnam”

Outstanding place to stay in Hoi An. Rooms were the best I had experienced in Vietnam through my North to South holiday. Rooms were far above standard. Excellent breakfast buffet and cooked eggs to your choice. It is a family run homestay and they all made me feel welcome from the first moment. I had to leave at 4:45am to catch a flight to HCMC, they organised a private car for me and it was there waiting on time ... not like my experience in Hanoi. To my surprise that he also kindly made me a take-away breakfast - club sandwich plus two nicely boiled eggs, salt & pepper, yogurt, fresh fruit plus a spoon, folk and napkin - now that really is outstanding service. They also have free bikes you can take for the day to ride around. The organic vegetable garden and An Bang beach are only a short ride away. It is 20 minutes walk from town which you do get used to and I found it quite pleasant at the start and end of the day. Believe the reviews for this homestay. Outstanding.

Good value for what you pay for ”

The location is between An Bang beach and old town. The room we stayed was big, and the bed was comfortable. Though, it had some stinky smell from the washroom during our stay. The overall stay was good, it's worth every penny. Btw, we used the taxi that the reception called for us. It cost us 15usd from Hoi An to Da Nang. You can find a cheaper one from old town, and maybe it's a better idea since the taxi driver we got texted and talked on the phone the whole trip.

This was one of the most satisfying hotel stays I've ever had. And that's saying a lot because it's also one of the cheapest hotel stays I've ever had. The entire place is super clean, the rooms are roomy and well-decorated, AC works great, wifi signal is strong, the staff is super friendly and helpful, the location is easily walkable from the main town area, and the breakfasts are delicious and filling. We had an early check-out on our last day and the staff got up early to make us brown bag breakfasts to take with us. I can't recommend this place enough.

A perfect stay in the middle of Hoi An”

This has been my favorite stay throughout my tour of Vietnam. Very welcoming, accommodating. The location is right in between the beach and ancient town -- so you can experience both sides of Hoi An. They provide a free bike, so can easily explore the area. Definitely consider this place if you're looking for a quiet & friendly homestay :)

Great place to stay in Hoi An”

Room is spacious, clean and well furnished. Great breakfast with so delicious pho. Good location between beach and town, close enough to go with bicycle which can use for free. Kind staffs always willing to help you.

Value for money”

I cannot believe how they can make this place run around. All they provide for only 20 USD for two persons. Indeed value for money and such a cute helpful staff. The location is not the best but they offer free bicycles compensating for that. We would stay here again.

near town, near beach, nice hotel”

The staff very friendly, the hotel provide free bicycle so you can do cycling in that area. Very near beach, paddy field and ancient town. Very convenience and the room is very comfortable and quiet. I will stay here again if I come to Hoi An again. I will suggest couples or a group of friends to stay in this hotel, not so suit for family because the traffic a bit dangerous when you cycling to town.

I often forget to review hotels I stayed but I always reminded me after my trip in hoi an to review this hotel for travelers. Everything is perfect, I love this hotel so much. I also recommend for my friends about your hotel but maybe their booking prices in not good like me. hehe

Perfect place to stay in Hoian”

This hotel is not located in the center, it's pretty far if you choose to walk (around 2 km). But they have bicycle free for Guests and believe me using bicycle is the best way to discovery Hoian old town. Room is very nice, everything is new and clean. Breakfast is simple but enough for me, staff is very friendly and helpful. This is the best hotel we stay in our trip

Nice hotel where to stay in Hoi an ”

As often in Vietnam you will be welcomed with a smile. The staff, a young woman when I was there, speak english good enough for easy communication. Any question och problem you have, they will try to solve it. The free, quite generous breakfast buffet gives you a good start before going out and discover Hoi an. As the hotel is situated in one outskirt, it takes some time to get downtown. This is no problem though as bikes are provided for free. There are mopeds as well. This is quite nice to come to a quiet surrounding when you've been a few hours in a very noisy and busy downtown. I warmly recommend this hotel. Dominique

Good location if you can bike”

If you're willing and able to ride their bikes (free of charge), the location is great, between the beach and old town and in a quiet neighborhood. Dog no longer there but roosters next door. Great value overall. Love Hoi An!

Staff were very kind and polite. The breakfast was very good. In the middle of everything. Free bicycle rent every day to get around. Rice fields literally next door. The old town 5/10 minutes on a bicycle. Rooms cleaned daily.
