I already visited lots of different hotels in my life, but this one really made me speechless. I stayed there for 3 nights and I was very sad to leave the lovely staff and everything. Here are just a few points you definitely will appreciate: - Perfect English - Great Pool - Comfortable and cute bungalows - Washing the laundry - Playing your music at the evening at the bar - Breakfast / Dinner as you are their family member - Fresh orange juice every morning - with a smile! - You can hire bicycles - You can hire motor bikes - Air conditioning in each room - Fridge in each room - 1 Water bottle for free every day - Amazing balcony with a few over the palm trees and sundowners/sunrises (breathtaking) - All drinks you could wish at the bar - Airport shuttle - Very close to the main street with all the shops, bistros, restaurants, BBQ’s, ... - a.m.m. And the most important point: Super duper close to the best beach of the island: Sao Beach It’s still a bit under construction, but that’s 0% annoying. Lovely to see how fast and with attention to detail they let everything grow. When everything is finalized - there won’t be a better place to stay on the whole island. I definitely will come back one day! The staff is 100% friendly, honestly, trustable, helpful and funny ;) Dear Green Garden Resort team, thank you so much for the amazing stay! Special thanks goes out to Mr Đức Soon, this place will be the one and only on the island. So, be part of it as fast as you can.

Amazing and peaceful place ”
We stayed here for 2 nights. The place was not fully finished, but it was no problem! Everything looked so beautiful already. Our bungalow was great, there was good wifi, own bathroom and also aircondition. Food in here was really good! The owner asked us every day what we would like to eat in the evening, and then they prepared a meal for us. Also breakfast was good. This place is a little far from the main street and Sao Beach, but you can rent a scooter or take a bike (I think bikes were for free). You can also walk trough another, very trashed and dirty, beach to Sao Beach. We walked and it took like 30 minutes. I highly recommend Green Garden Bungalow Phu quoc!

It's like camping with amenities ”
If you are a down to earth person that enjoys natural beauty and quiet seclusion this is the place for you. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Duke, the owner, speaks very good English and goes out of his way to make sure you are comfortable. He is a wealth of knowledge and can assist with whatever you are looking for. It's a rustic and out of the way homey environment that is clean and comfortable. If the Vietnam hot weather is an issue for you then definitely book the larger air conditioned bungalow that includes a shower and toilet. Free airport pickup can be arranged with an about 200K vnd return to airport fee. Food and drinks at very reasonable prices are available but the menu is limited. The swimming pool is well maintained and refreshing. Bicycles and Motorbikes are available on the property. Tours and transport to anywhere you want to go is easily arranged. All in all it's a great laid back experience for those who want to enjoy an earthy get away from it all.

Great new place with clean bungalows and confortable rooms. 10 min scooter to the beach so if you are looking for a off-the-track location for a non-expensive stay in a chill place this is for you. Duc makes sure everything is ok and is very helpful. I stayed there for two nights and I definitely recommand this place.

Might be for you if you are a nature person”
First I must say that the grounds are beautiful.,The staff nice and a 5min scooter ride to the amazing sao beach. . The food at this place was good. Can rent a scooter from the front desks. Now had I known that is was a nature place with very little to do other then sao beach I might have not booked it. The main thing I did not like was that there was no hot water to shower. The room was small and I had the larger room. the bed was to hard to sleep on. If you are an outdoor person you might love this place but I am more of a 4 star person. It was a little to basic for me but that might not mean it’s not for you. It is not to expensive so mabey try it for one night first and see if you like before booking for a few days.

Nice and calm place.”
We booked a hut with a fan and breakfast included discounted at (150k vnd) a night. For that price it was marvellous deal. Its not close to beach, but if you rent a motorbike its not a problem. Wifi struggles a lot so we made all our online bookings in the city or close to the main road. Tuan (manager) tried to help as much as he could, though sometimes you have to use a translator to communicate. Otherwise we really enjoyed the stay. Place has great common place/bar to hang around and talk to other people.

We had a really nice staying even though english was a problem sometimes. Crashed their moped and didn't have to psy anything. The staff did everything they could for us. The bungalows are as cosy as they look in The pictures!

Overall, we do not recommend this hotel: + : - Quite beautiful garden and bungalows - Nice outside area (restaurant & bar) - Coffee is good! - Possible to rent scooter there - Quiet - : - For the same price, it is easy to find far better in Phu Quoc. Not a good value for money. - The location is quite poor >> The hotel is 15 minutes walk from Sao Beach indeed. But Sao Beach is long, and the part next to Green Garden is FULL of trash (so many, it was unbelievable), and it takes 15 more minutes of walk in a field of trash to get to the nice part of it. >> The hotel is 50km away from the city, and more than 60km away from the beaches in the North-west (which are nice). - The Garden view Bungalows (around 35USD per night) are very basic and not comfi: >> The mattress was hard as wood >> There is no light inside when the door is closed. It is hardly possible to read with the small lamp. >> The floor of our bungalow was in concrete (unfinished) >> Zero storage

wifi doesnt work, lazy staff ignores you”
wifi does not work throughout the hotel, I have been asking for internet all day, in the end they gave me a sim card at a speed of 150kbit, welcome to 2003 year. Bicycles are free, but the condition is terrible. Brakes do not work, rusty chains. But idea of hotel is good, nice to stay here for 1-2 days The beach to which you can get on foot is terribly dirty, littered with garbage thrown out of the sea. You will have to use a taxi and go Bai Sao each time. Bai Sao is nice.

A place to hide away”
The bungalow design is cute but the facilities are not good. Shared bathroom with less cleanliness. Not a good location to stay (not near the beach nor the downtown)

Unused potential”
There are some problems between the owners at the moment (thats what i heard). As a result the place is running understaffed, the personal left cannot speak english and it seems like they have no clue what they are doing there. But i have to mention that they are really friendly and try their best. Because of this Situation the rooms are not clean and the pool is empty. The area itself looks quite nice and you can reach the beach with the motorbike within a a few minutes, but its also in the middle of nowhere so you need to rent a Motorbike for sure.

My stay in Green Garden Bungalow hut”
The location is rather hard to find in Google map. It's up in the slope hill next to Phu Nam Hotel. The traveller who wants to stay there. Do take note that there is no wifi in the hut. The basin water tap is not working well. The hut should have a small table or cabinet to put things rather than putting on top of the mini fridge. The staff is lack of experience on hosting but they are rather friendly and trying their best to do whatever they can. Riding a bike to travel around is a must if not it will be tough to get around. There's a roof top bar up there. Travellers who are lazy to go anywhere. You can chill abit up here. The place is near to an unknown beach. But I still prefer Bao Sài Beach which is 10mins ride away from this hut. Hope the above review will help the next traveller. Regards, Vod from Singapore

There are better places to stay ”
The first sign that this was not going to go well was the fact that the property was unresponsive to requests for info about how to get there. The email address listed on Agoda is incorrect. I was not able to call and they saw my Facebook message but did not respond. Even Agoda itself was not able to contact them - which is a major concern. When I did find my way there, I realised why. The staff do not speak English. I took a look around and then decided to forego the cost of my one night’s stay and find somewhere else. The bungalows looked ok but the bathrooms were dirty. The location is isolated - far from key conveniences. To get food you have to walk 15 minutes to the main road. At night, there are no street lights. There are bicycles but there are in disrepair - no tread, no brakes, no pedals on some. To get to the beach it’s a 15 minute walk - partly through the dirty, plastic strewn southern end of Sao Beach. Stay if you’re looking for a camping, rather comfort.

Located far from the main city, but relatively close to Sao Beach. It’s possible to rent a motorbike for 150k. However, the bungalow was very dirty, without any toilet paper or warm water. In the bathroom there was poop of some animal. Air conditioning worked poorly. Lots of mosquitoes but no mosquito net provided. The bungalow has a large window in its front, but ours had no curtain so everyone could see us from outside. The staff friendly although English was rather so so.

I should have been there four nights but had to leave earlier. There was no warm water and the swimming pool wasn't in use. There's no beaches or any services nearby, so motorbike is must have in there. The staff was friendly, even though they don't speak or understand English. Things worked out by using translator. The place was beautiful and peaceful. But definitely not a place to stay with kids.

The place really could be a great romantic getaway for couples. The overall bamboo theme is a good idea and gives it a cozy feel. Bungalows look good also and there are lovely gazebos in front of them to eacape the direct sunlight during the day. In the bungalows you have only necessary things so don't expect luxury. Though they really lack any storage space for your luggage/clothes. Could use some shelves or cupboards. The water in the pool is dirty and has a lot of dead bugs in it (which they didn't clean often enough) but hey, at least there is a pool! The staff is really loud early in the morning and also bikes/cars driving (revving) past the bungalows from 6am There is free breakfast - one of the options is diarrhea/salmonella eggs that they store under direct sunlight Dinner portion size varies from face to face depening how much money you spend and the same with the price of water. Rarely any toiletpaper. They schemed everyone to book the expensive bungalows. Left with diarrhea.

It takes 20 minutes to walk to the Beach and another 15 minutes to a very good beach. About 15 minutes walking from mainroad.
