AMAZING hotel beyond the postcard view”
Sometimes you wonder why spend the extra money on a better hotel (when you will spend most time outside anyway) . I wondered this too,until this happened... I was on my way driving to Hallstatt to checkin the Heritage Hotel, i was about 30mins away. First time there, don't know the road, totally rely on the GPS. QuIckly I found myself somewhere in the mountain and it started to snow HEAVILY. Snow quickly covered the road and we were stuck on valley bottom where the road was too slippery for car to go up (or go back). My wife & I were stuck there for an hour and give up trying. I call the hotel,Julia picked up the phone and she quickly get my coordinate & help to arrange transport to pick me up in the middle of a snowy mountain. Driver George is the one who came to 'rescue' us and help to pull all our luggages up the hill (slippery and steep, i tell u) to where his car was. We are safe and in hotel in 30mins later. Hotel views are excellent, but staffs are the real GEMS :) thx

If you stay here take the train instead of the bus to Hallstatt. The train leaves you across the lake then you take a short ferry ride that drops you right at the check in. We had a top floor lake view with small balcony that had spectacular views. Room was spacious well equipped and clean. Enjoyed the sauna which I had all to myself. Breakfast was excellent with an incredible selection. Staff was very kind and helpful but seemed frustrated at times by the selfie obsessed Asian tourist mobs.

Perfect stay in Hallstatt ”
I stayed in Haus Kainz for 2 nights and loved everything. The location and view is superb, room was spacious & clean and the complimentary coffee/tea/water & L’Occitane toiletries were a nice touch. All of the staff I encountered were friendly but Phillip in the restaurant and Barbara on Reception were so lovely and super helpful. I wish I had stayed longer!

Value for money & excellent stay”
We enjoyed our time here very much. The room is spacious and with lake view. Imagine waking up with the snowy mountain view. It was marvellous! We had dinner at the restaurant and also breakfast at the hotel. Food is delicious! The room is very spacious and the toilets are huge with a bath tub. The hotel staffs are very friendly and nice too. The hotel is located in the middle of town right in front of the boat pier.

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Heritage Hotel Hallstatt. Room was nice, clean and spacious. And the view... just wow :) Staff was helpful and polite. Will definitely stay again when I'm next time in Hallstatt.

Everything's great exccept nespresso mashine not working”
Everything's perfect, I actually extend my stays at heritage hotel. We got room facing lake hallstatt on the 3rd building, they built elevator recently in this building. Your wife/girlfriend will appreciate their L'Occitane amenities for sure. only minor issues, our nespresso machine not working during our stays.

Totally love the view we have from the room.. enjoying the complimentary teas or coffee from the balcony. Enjoying the sunrise.. sunset... Everything is great & breakfast was the best so far.. with a spread and options available.

Hotel is nice. except the astry with the cigs, the room is super clean and neat. There is the hot dog stall at the entrance of the hotel. You have the choice on tea, dinner even breakfast. However, the breakfast buffet that hotel offer is great!! have to try that restaurant when you live in.

It's just by the pier, which is a plus to the location. The staff were friendly and helpful! Though it was a pity that it rained for the two whole days during my stay, we had a very comfortable stay there. Our room was right beside the church. We loved it very much! The breakfast was great!

The best in Hallstatt”
The best location for staying in Hallstatt, as it is next to the pier and you can hop on to the ferry right after breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. If you prefer to stay near the pier, you might need to check with the hotel in advance, as I was assigned to a room in another building (about 10 mins walk from the lobby), the room was bit old and the bed was not very comfy. But for the price, location, and the breakfast, I still recommend this place.

Nice hotel in Hallstatt”
The hotel is by the lake, and all the view are facing towards the lake. The parking is located at P1 and they provide shuttle in between hotel and parking lot. The breakfast has good selection. The bed is comfortable. Room is pretty spacious. The internet is fast.
