The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast of both local and Western sweet and savoury food is delicious, including made to order pancakes. The location both on the beach and relatively near the main town is perfect. The hotel is set on a small road away from the main road into town, so the resort is very quiet. The main road has many different restaurants both local and Indian etc as well as supermarkets. The resort has it's own area of beach, with sun loungers and a small shop to. My own very tiny issue is that there are no toilet facilities on the beach, which is fine if you are in the nearby scenic bungalows in the beautiful landscaped gardens, but not if you are in the main hotel. My room had a cute balcony and the air conditioning was great, as was the shower. The resort is highly recommended. Thank you very much for a super holiday.

Nice bungalows in front of the beach”

I loved my 2 weeks stay here and got the relaxing vacation what I really wanted. For my opinion bungalows are situated perfectly in the peaceful part of the area, but still near everything in the end of the sideway. Next to the hotel are many small restaurants and shops to by water etc. Beach in front of the hotel is the best part of it and there are many sunbeds. The stuff are very kind and helpful. Bungalows correspond to the star rating of the hotel and the price. Everything is clean and cleaners come everyday if you like. Beds are little hard but not a problem. You get mosquito net if you ask and I recommend since there are lot of them around. There is no bar service on the beach but hotels next to it have. All together I would go again anytime!

location is best - bungalow right on the beach and 2 km to night market. Very nice path among bungalows with plenty of trees and flowers. The staff are helpful and so kind. Minus point is that facility is a bit worn-out as this is one of the very first resorts on this island. For me price-quality is still great. Highly recommended!

Nice little resort with calm private beach”

We were here for the 3rd time. Still good and worth the price. We understand that Covid left its traces. But now the resort needs renovation. Cleanliness should be more taken seriously, that would be possible with little effort. The facilities such as restaurant and beach bar did still not boot up. Anyway we love Hiep Thanh Resort.

Comfortable”

Close to beach, downtown. Room small, except bungalow. Have pool and suitable for family with children. Breakfast is poor, unchanged, not many choices but acceptable with the price. Friendly staff

Alojamiento normal, muy buena ubicación en la misma playa y cerca de todo. Dan cambio de moneda y a muy buen cambio. El personal excelente te ayudan en todo lo que pueden. Desayuno aceptable es un Buffet bastante pequeño.

Last paradise place”

I had the first line beach bungalow and was realy happy with this wonderful place.

Hard bed, no nice view from room, very small pool. Nice staff, but all needed google translator.... ”

Good location and nice beach”

Basic rooms and quite dated but they have everything you need and your on the beach. plus it has a pool as well.

Great stay”

We only stayed a few days but it had everything we needed for a relaxing beach break. Clean room & surrounds, good location busy but not noisy. Often had our kettle beach part to ourselves. Simple breakfast and easy walk to shops & resturants

Disappointing Repeat Stay”

The Hiep Than has not upgraded in the last six years except for the small pool. Bathrooms need some work and it was hard to get hot water. Mattress was like concrete but they did put another one on top when we asked. The Wifi is poor. Breakfast is horrible and not even bare bones. The beach in this area (Long Beach) is eroding and they will have to do something soon or it will be gone. The verandas on the cabins are nice and it is lush and green all around. The cleaning staff were great but the front staff speak zero English so were not much help. We left after 5 days and went to Richis up the road - very very nice.

+ Great location just by the beach, hotels free sunbeds on the beach, staff, breakfast, lush green garden that made the bungalow private, towels for beach and pool. - The free wifi didn't work inside the bungalow, you had to get up early and put a towel on the sunbed to get a good one with umbrella, mosquitos in the evening, very hard beds, poorly cleaned bathroom with stains of dirt upon the walls in the shower (wich would have been so easy to get rid of).
