A VERY NICE PLACE”

I'm very glad with this Hostal. The staff were excellent and always ready to help with any query. The location is great and the ckeanliness of both the room and the rest of tje facilities was excellent. I recommend it.!

Central location, clean and tidy for price paid”

The best feature of the hotel was it’s central location - less than a minute’s walk from the La Rambla strip, everything was in arms reach which meant we didn’t get lost. Also loved the convenience of a delicious bakery next door and multiple shops nearby for drinks and snacks. The staff on the desk were very friendly every morning and helpful with any queries. The cleaner came everyday to tidy the room and supply clean towels. Overall the room was in good condition and value for the price we paid - clean beds, fully working bathroom and lights were the main thing. Some cons however was that the walls seemed to be quite thin so could hear our neighbours and vice versa! They were banging on our wall to tell us to keep quiet but we weren’t even being loud! The sink had a big crack in the ceramic work which was poorly stuck together. Lastly even though the beds were clean, they weren’t very comfortable and could have supplied more spare pillows !

No kitchen”

Hostals usually have kitchens and that's the main reason I stay at them, however, this hostal did not have kitchen or any common areas. The wifi was also a bit spotty. They could greatly improved by just adding a microwave and water heater.

you have to eat same breakfast. they are one cup of orange juice, sandwich, coffee and croissant all the time.

I fully recommend this hotel. Gresy staff, very nice and helpful. Room was clean, not to big but also not to small. Breakfast was in the near bakery, it was very good and the portions where enough.

good budget hotel in the center”

It is a fine place, clean, cheap, quit during the week. Do not expect too much. The rooms are small and not that pretty, beds are small too and pillows are not comfy, never the less recommned for one or two nights cause the location is great and the value for money is good.

Very central, next to La Boqueria and Las Ramblas. Clean, functional and has all the amenities. Superb.

Great location in the center of Barcelona”

I am a single traveler and that's why I took a single room. The hotel fully met my expectations. The staff is extremely friendly and always ready to help with information. All in all, I am so delighted with this place that I decided to extend my stay here. Of course, when I come to Barcelona again, Hostal Iznajar will definitely be the first place I look for an available room.

Good location, easy to find, kettle in the room for a change in spain, Walls very thin and could hear every word from the next room, so could be noisy.

It's I thonk the 3rd time we stayed in this hotel. Nice location with reasonable price.

Good enough”

Wifi somewhat weak. Room is very small. You'll need to take the stairs (maybe 6 steps) before you could access the Elevator. But the staff was very nice.

Very pleasant and safe but will be be better if someone will inform the other guest that they should keep their voices down after 12 and not bang the doors so hard.
